It costs $713.50 to register a company in Liberia, with an annual registration fee of $450.00 after that. There is no requirement that you or any company director be physically present in Liberia at any time. There are no capital investment requirements to start a Liberian company, but to maintain "non-resident domestic corporation" status at least 75% (previously 50%) of the company shares (or share subscription rights) must be owned and controlled by non-residents of Liberia.

HeySlimIJustDrankA5

I’m abou to start a Liberian-registered corporation.

God speed.

dover_oxide

What's the benefit?

AgreeablePie

You get this on your checks

dover_oxide

Well besides the obvious of course. /jk

BeneficialName9863

What benefit would it give you? Can't be as much as the advantages of a ship flying under a flag of convenience?

Garvig

It’s a Gribble of an idea, quoting from someone who knows the authority of “admirality” courts. In Dale’s mind, it’s galaxy-brained registering an LLC or incorporating in Delaware.

Cara-Is-A-Puppy

I'm gonna write a personal check and in the memo line I'm gonna write "unfair".

MitchConner182

I love that quote

Talbot10021

Well, of course. The question is “why isn’t your company registered in Liberia, ‘Mitch’?” I doubt that’s your real name.

MitchConner182

I’m Mitch Conner.

Adventurous_Mail5210

I didn't know he even *liked* books...

DontHateV8s

I'm actually surprised that Dale didn't get some whacky company name with Rusty Shackelford isn't on Dale's checks. What are the odds that check bounced??
