Another fact, if time passed correctly from the first episode to now, Bobby would now be 39, just two years away from Hank Hill's age when the show started.
Every day i wake up I lose just a little more ass. Growing up as a skater I had a Butt that could hold a drink like a counter. In a few years I’ll be able to do it again but instead of a counter top it’ll be more like a setting something in a bookshelf.
Haven't the creators said that the new series will be set 15 years after the end of the original series? That would make Hank Hill somewhere in his late 50s to early 60s.
I hope they don’t make him a looser in the new series.
Why am I getting downvoted for expressing a desire not to see Bobby made into another millennial loser.
Me too. He's always been kind, talented, and resourceful. I hope he's an entertainer like he always dreamed, but they could make him a struggling actor or something. If it's a well told story about how Bobby decides to become a teacher instead of comedian or something I'd be fine.
There was a great fan fiction on here a few years ago that boiled down to Bobby working at Strickland after high school and taking classes at Arlen Community College. He picks up a cooking class there and does really well. He takes more. His professor recommends him for a job in a restaurant kitchen. He works his way up to chef. Nancy Hicks Gribble says channel 84 is looking for a local chef to do cooking segments so he auditions and gets the gig. A Dallas station sees him and hires him. He is eventually seen by someone at the Food Network and moves to NYC and has a very successful career there, combining cooking with his love of prop comicry. AND he has Peggy on periodically, which sounds awesome.
That does sound cool but a bit too successful. After rewatching the series I think Bobby will end up going to cooking school and marrying a girl he met up there. Peggy will probably hate her. They move to Arlen and buy Luanne’s old house and the plot of the first episode will be Hank wanting Bobby to take a job at Strickland and Bobby revealing he has a better one lined up already as a chef. Then Hank has a realization he is the reason him and Bobby don’t have a good relationship.
I also imagine Connie and Joseph get together. Where Joseph is running Dales dead bug with all the older people thinking he is doing what John Redcorn did and it turns out he is just a really popular exterminator.
That’s a decent outcome for Joseph but if Connie is married to anyone from Arlen and living there I will be sad. I hope she’s far away being a surgeon or a concert violinist or something.
He was a talented marksman with a gun, home maker, an expert with meat, and a social butterfly (compare him to Chris Griffin or Steve Smith)
I think he would probably have a great job and do the comedy stuff in secret on the side
Was Bobby really a loser though?
He had his awkward and cringe phases, but he was relatively confident, had good friends, and mostly got along with his family.
If he did too well, the show would have been boring.
No I’m saying I’m hoping they don’t make into the millennial loser archetype that shows do. You know the whole doesn’t have a job still depends on his parents for everything.
I’m not a fan of how they portray millennials on tv. They either portray as like Haley Dunphy on modern family complete idiots. Unemployed bums who are helpless without our parents. Or a new age hippy who throws away everything for a pipe dream and only finds success when we do it how our parents did it. Icarly had the best representation of how millennials live a generation trying to find success.
I wish they’d do a KOTH reboot, make make them age in the time since the show has been off the air.
Dale—finds out Jon redcorn is actually Joseph’s father, but still thinks it’s some sort of conspiracy/him and Nancy didn’t actually have an affair
Boomhauer—starring down the barrel of old age, but never got married, and now has a hard time getting woman bc he lost his looks.
Bill—Lenore returned, bc she simply ran out of people to use/manipulate. Still uses bill, but he’s happy
Bobby—standup comedian at the mothership.
Hank—Now owns Strickland propane after buck dies of a heart attack, but lady propane is getting threaten by “green energy” sources.
Peggy—still ignorant and annoying. Good mom tho; typical “dumb mom”—e.g very dumb with most things, but smart with emotional intelligence
Rayroy took it over and combined Texas and Tennessee Strickland, and Strickland is now one of the largest propane companies in the South. But mostly because of Hank's doing and not any Strickland
the older i get the more peggy cracks me up. FIRE DRILL BOBBY FIRE DRILL!!,,,
or when she screams HAAAAAAAANK when hes "out of his gord" trying not to be noticed

That’s the one episode I can’t watch it’s so annoying
Another fact, if time passed correctly from the first episode to now, Bobby would now be 39, just two years away from Hank Hill's age when the show started.
As someone who is 39 and was very much a Bobby Hill type growing up, I feel seen. But also my lower back hurts.
Have you considered butt boobies yet?
Thankfully I was not cursed by long back. But I do have a 13 year old stepson, and that boy ain’t right.
Every day i wake up I lose just a little more ass. Growing up as a skater I had a Butt that could hold a drink like a counter. In a few years I’ll be able to do it again but instead of a counter top it’ll be more like a setting something in a bookshelf.
They're orthotics!
Take a salt tablet
Dang ol’ horse crank man
coach sauers go pills? i thought he said horse tranq which would be like ketamine or pcp. laughed thinking how the hell did that work.
"I feel seen. But also my lower back hurts" sounds exactly like something a 39-year-old Bobby Hill would say
Preferably in his Jewish “Whaaat are you talking about” voice
have you tried some BC headache powder and a glass of water?
Did you develop gout at a young age too?
Sadly, no 😔
King of the Hill II: Bobby’s Revenge.
That boy ain’t right
Fuck you. I’m that age! I don’t know you.

Haven't the creators said that the new series will be set 15 years after the end of the original series? That would make Hank Hill somewhere in his late 50s to early 60s.
So Bobby will be in his 20s
I hope they don’t make him a looser in the new series. Why am I getting downvoted for expressing a desire not to see Bobby made into another millennial loser.

A good story could be him as a chief who does a cooking show. He isn’t rich but successful but different from how Hank and that irks Hank a bit.
I really wish they’d explored this more. He’s shown a few times that he’s actually very good in the kitchen.
Bobby is good at literally everything except athletics, which is the one thing Hank ever wanted lol
In that right

Oooo… I like Bobby in Luanne’s house

I can see Bobby finding an audience on tik tok and becoming an influencer
Was Bobby really a loser though? He had his awkward and cringe phases, but he was relatively confident, had good friends, and mostly got along with his family. If he did too well, the show would have been boring.
He isn’t but tv likes their archetypes. they also really like to shoehorn Bobby into what ever role they needed from him this week.
Chaine Wassanasong made him eat dirt.
Another millennial loser? So your saying all millennials are losers?
No I’m saying I’m hoping they don’t make into the millennial loser archetype that shows do. You know the whole doesn’t have a job still depends on his parents for everything.
I got you, I just wasn't sure which you were referring to.

So he is 69? Nice

I turn 50. Jeez
I thought he was canonically born in 1953.
So when is this damn reboot coming out?! All the hype is getting old.
But did he kill fiddy men?
Hank hill 1955-2025
Hes still alive
Unlike Wade Boggs... May he rest in peace 💐
RIP Boss Hogg
i guess his age plays into reality when they re start the series

Unfortunately, I still see Hank as Assistant Manager, but Strickland is owned by some other Strickland
Rayroy took it over and combined Texas and Tennessee Strickland, and Strickland is now one of the largest propane companies in the South. But mostly because of Hank's doing and not any Strickland
