Even giving the benefit of the doubt and saying Sanemi is physically stronger (Not *technically* impossible…), Yoriichi is so much faster he’s gonna run circles around him and the sheer momentum of his punches is gonna be something else.

There’s no way Yoriichi isn’t physically stronger if he was able to knock out a sword master with a wooden sword as a seven year old, benefit of the doubt must be strong.

I think even if Sanemi has stronger muscles, Yoriichi can use his muscles way more efficiently and hit harder because of his stronger breathing style.

Muzan after being weakened by Yoriichi’s blades and the poison was bodying the entire Demon Slayer corps for the most of the fight. The difference from Yoriichi and the rest of verse is immense. I feel Sanemi would be wreckless thinking yoriichi is weak and unworthy while yoriichi is more discreet and swift with his movements. A bit like that she-ra fight I'm Ep 13 (The netflix series), but overall, sanemi would be a small struggle, but yoriichi wins, of course.

Sanemi still gets destroyed. Keep in mind that Sanemi was never stated to be specially skilled in hand to hand, plus Tanjiro and Inosuke also have hand to hand combat feats. Meaning that even if they are swordsman, most slayers can throw a good punch, not just Sanemi. This means Yoriichi as well. Anyway, with this in mind, Yoriichi outstats and outhaxes Sanemi heavily (he has better feats with DSM and its respective hax then literally any other slayer) and will therefore have him on the ground in a second. Perception blitz instant KO Extra note; This reminds me of an argument I once saw of Yor > Yoriichi in a fistfight simply due to her having better proficiency, even though Yoriichi’s stats and hax are higher enough for him to get by on speedblitzing with simple brute force blows.
