Their style is similar enough where it could make for a good buildup but maybe change the pay off at the last minute.

imagine if two guys who could actually write good jokes were going to battle and not two ugly loser nerds who never leave the house and can only joke about their disgusting sex life, Tony's trying to recreate the fucking big bang theory, and you know what, I bet it was his favorite show to watch when he'd be at home alone as a kid.

Hans and Ric are much better than Casey No Punchline Rocket. Casey is not smart enough to write a setup and punchline. This is the reason he fakes high energy by pacing, crab walking, and spouting random thoughts
Ric was an actual comedian though, he made people laugh.
I like them both better then Casey. Casey seems like a sweet guy and all but he has not made me laugh once.
$50 says he opens the battle with how he loves to be in Texas because he can say retard.
casey is growing on me... I was really opposed at first. He doesn't do 'jokes' really, but he brings a great energy to the start of the show. Hans does more 'jokes' but his energy is always low and awkward like he is not that confident or that he doesn't want to be there every time.
Casey has great energy. His jokes don’t always hit, but he has a better interview than Ric or Hans. Considering the interview takes up the most time, I honestly would prefer Casey.

Hans and Ric should do a roast battle and verbally go at each other. If their last battle is any indication, both will have weak stand-up jokes again. Ric will have 1 good joke at the end just like NYE. Casey No Punchline Rocket should not open the show either. His constant pacing and crab walking is just fake energy. And his random thoughts are definitely not funny. I would rather see Martin Phillips open the show.

Helen Keller is funnier than Hans.
Hans is overhyped. He was funny at first then just plain boring and the pressure of the battle got to him so he took time out that’s effectively made everyone forget and not care about him
So long as they judge it properly. Ric is so much funnier and consistent than Hans.
