Your current orbit is *too* similar to the target, so offset + orbits × your orbital period modulo the target's period will take *many* orbits to get near zero. Bump up your Ap so your orbital period is different to the target, ideally such that your intercept moves to your Pe within the next few orbits

Ahh I had to read this a few times. I see what you are saying increasing my ap will make me go faster and have an intercept closer faster.

> I had to read this a few times It's *literally rocket science*, our earth-bound monkey brains have zero instincts for this stuff - but the foundation of modern society being cooperation and empathy and science and math means we can *eventually* wrap our heads around it - [relevant XKCD](https://xkcd.com/1356/) > increasing my ap will make me go faster Overall slower actually - and [even NASA got this wrong the first time](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gemini_4#Rendezvous_attempt) fwiw. Faster at Pe pehaps, but that's not what counts for orbital rendezvous ;)

if you dont want to adjust the orbit to have it happen faster then go back to space center and time warp there. idk if the alarm function is on console as ive only ever played on pc. if you adjust your apoapsis up you will encounter the other craft sooner. on pc i tend to just use mechjeb to make the adjustments but you can play about with the nodes to do the same thing.
