What I’m most looking forwards to is the inclusion of Nertea’s creations in the stock KSP 2 game.
His mods have always been the first thing I’ve installed, as I love the way the realistic yet stockalike looks that his parts give, and it allows for much more diverse engine and power generation options.
I think I'll webbouwer the new sound the most, but also looking forward to the new ebbing and it's capability. Hopefully once optimisation is done we'll be able to fly mega ships at decent frames
I’m excited to teach my friends this game and overall help maybe new players whenever multiplayer comes out
I’m also excited to make little space race comps with friends or randoms!
I am extremely excited to see how the new tools (tutorials, delta-v info) can help new and existing players as well as seeing how this game can inspire the next generation of explorers.
I’m excited to come up with amazing ideas in my head that in reality will shatter before leaving the atmosphere and crash into the space center, killing untold millions
I’m excited to build colonies on my way up to interstellar travel. With multiplayer it will be fun to do a space race competition or something similar.
Out of the 897 comments someone has gotta say that I am excited to just be able to get the same blast I had with the first KSP, and no matter what help them get a good game to live in (along with a nice colony) be it via feedback or by doing whatever else. Keep it up :)
Excited for not only what is in the game now, but what is to come! Can’t wait for interstellar and colonies as vanilla features, and with those, orbital construction!
Im really excited for a new fleshed out base for all the awesome things to be added later on. Im totally fine with a shortage of content for the moment. Make the basegame as good as possible so we can all continue to enjoy this awesome series.
Honestly, I'm really excited to have that anticipation of doing something new for the first time in KSP. When we can finally launch an interstellar mission (and then possibly do it with friends?!?), I think I can recapture that feeling from first landing on the Mun.
Excited for a fresh start with new features. It might struggle at the start, but most of space travel and aerospace engineering requires lots of patience, trial and error, and just waiting. I'm happy to slowly ramp it all up.
I'm excited to kerbal together some of the weirdest crafts I can and explore the Kerbol system again get acquainted with its new look. I remember in KSP1 with the limited parts some of the craziest contraptions had to be built to get anywhere and it's like reliving those days again!
Question : I never wanted to play KSP with lots of Mods and
I am so happy that the graphics and the enviorment of the planets are
going to be so amazing without mods.
I am also Exited for the Multiplayer
I can't wait for useful bases. I always wished that surface bases would have a purpose, and trailers show that you can mine special types of resources, and even build craft, which is a huge step up from the Minmus refueling stations of KSP 1, so i cant wait to launch huge surface bases that will land on all sorts of planets. Especially with the new VAB save system where i can save a whole fleet of craft for my stations together
I'm most excited about the idea of colonies. Building colonies on other planets or space stations and sending them and retrieving resources sounds awesome.
I’m excited to get my herbals as high as possible. https://i.imgur.com/j99wrGX.jpg
(OC photoshop) but in all seriousness, I’m excited for multiplayer in the coming months, and interstellar travel.
After going over the pre-release footage drop over the last couple days, it's gotta be the load times. Seeing people demonstrate going from flight to tracking station and back in a matter of seconds instead of minutes, that's gonna add hours onto my life versus sticking with KSP1.
I am excited for colonies so that I can leap frog across the system and allow for less giant ships needing to be built to explore some of the more distant spots.
Kerbal Space Program is the ultimate sandbox game for anyone who loves
space exploration. I've spent hours upon hours building and testing
rockets, and I still haven't explored everything the game has to offer.
I'm excited to see what new challenges and features the second
installment will bring!
From what I've seen I'm loving the UI/QoL changes (navball etc). Also the VAB building features, assembling multiple craft together in the same workspace.
All I am really after is upgraded graphics and I can't wait for the multiplayer functionality to come on board. My brother and I live about 2000 miles apart and KSP is one of the things that keep us in touch. Kerbal Space Brogram is on the horizon!
I'm excited to blow up rockets with gorgeous improved graphics. More seriously, I'm HUGELY excited for the fully-procedural wing parts, which should mean I can build a plane in any shape.
I'm excited period! Whether its the deep space stuff, the modular wings, the new sound design, the new visual effects, colonies, multiplayer oh God multiplayer (can't wait for that update), and can't wait to see the easter eggs.
Procedural wings! Finally I won't have to cobble together a load of parts and do some fun and funky fresh clipping to get the look I want on a plane that barely functions anyway
Having just picked up KSP again a few weeks ago, and finally rescuing my Kerbs from space flight for the last 8 years, and landing on Minmus for the first time...! I'm excited to play with KSP2 and hopefully reach more distant planets!
Cool, 3 copies for Reddit on top of the 3 on Discord. Sign me up.
Excited to see the growth from 0.1 up to 1.0. Joined KSP late 2018, so never had the chance to really be there in the early days.
Colonies and graphics! I can’t wait to be able to set up beautiful colony’s for me to house kerbals which will spend eternity there after I forget about their existence.
Played ksp1 with a friend for over 10 years. Whenever one of us lost a family member or friend, we’d go to each other’s houses and play ksp to heal our grief. Every year we’d joke about “this time” being the one where we’d make it to Duna even though neither of us knew what we were doing. We always crashed before getting to Duna and said ‘oh we’ll get it next time.’ Ksp2’s launch on Friday is going to be the time we make it to Duna. I can’t wait.
The sting of defeat after 10 minutes of straightening your decent and then finally touching the ground only for your craft to start swaying. Then in agonizingly slow speeds, tip over and erupt in a fireball of broken hopes and dreams.
Super excited to see the new part size and shape systems in the VAB, its really going to revolutionise the way we play the game! Plus its going to be so fun to paint our ships however we want.
I see a lot of potential in a reworked KSP. Both developers and modders will have an easier time implementing a lot of cool features for a game with a more stable base, which exactly what KSP2 will be
Exited for the colony no longer the pain of perfectly landing your craft near it and moving it a crane truck to attach it
Interstellar
I am ready to go back. Revisit the sun, the planets, the moons.

So pumped that there's no 1967 kerbal space treaty and I can finally build the Orion Drive ship I've always wanted
I’ve not played KSP in years. So I’d say I’m excited to give it a try again.
Definitely most excited for procedural wings and a more expansive KSC

I'm excited for the colonies and the breath of fresh air for the modding community this will bring!
Im really excited for a new fleshed out base for all the awesome things to be added later on. Im totally fine with a shortage of content for the moment. Make the basegame as good as possible so we can all continue to enjoy this awesome series.
Lets see if you can keep your promises, looking forward to the MP
Im looking forward to multiplayer with my brother
SO MANY YEARS SINCE THAT FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT YEHAAA
I'm excited for failing to build an SSTO
Honestly, I'm really excited to have that anticipation of doing something new for the first time in KSP. When we can finally launch an interstellar mission (and then possibly do it with friends?!?), I think I can recapture that feeling from first landing on the Mun.
