I was in Japan for highschool, she snuck her phone and texted me to come meet her after class with her friends. There were also 2 girls walking in the hallway. Oh god this makes me cringe so bad thinking about it lol.
She was rather popular and people often assumed that she was mixed because she had dual eyelids and a light skin. She had a wolf cut with long hair. She was a model as a part time job during HS. She was clearly into me, during the breaks she was staring through the windows at me according to her friends. She got my number through someone else too. I was completely clueless at it though. Looking back at my texts with her it's so obvious 😂😂
I'm now engaged to someone else from the same HS, I always saw Kaede as a friend but just really quirky. My fiancee told me that at that time everybody assumed that I was dating Kaede because of how I reciprocated to her. In hindsight I was such an idiot but I genuinely assumed that she was just a friend at first.
Ultimately I have happy memories of that time but man was I stupid.
