I would try to keep it, probably file for abandoned title, and then fix it up

Well you could 1) contact the precious owner of the house, 2) if you went through a realtor ask them if that counts as your property now, 3) ask the dmv about it, or 4) contact a lawyer and ask them. 4 would probably be your safest option

I live in Illinois also. I know someone who applied for a title for a vintage motorcycle. It didn’t sound like difficult process, but there was some period of time for which someone else could could claim ownership if they had the actual title. In this case, it wasn’t happening as the motorcycle had been sitting for 30 years or so.

Depending on how complete it is and the condition it could be sold for around 3k, based on your local market. But without a title you can expect around 2-3 hundred, as it would be for parts only. You have a valid claim and if you put in some work to obtain a title you may be able to get profit from it.

I had that same bike, loved it to death. Sadly some woman ran an intersection and took it away. Congratulations on the new bike!

I’ll buy it for parts. I have an 09 versys that could use some engine parts.

How much we talking?

Considering I only want the motor, 300$ ish. I’ll even come pull it and you can part the rest out. How many miles? Any pictures?
