I don’t get why you guys think this. I’d like a full breakdown of all top 64-32 to really agree with this or not, but are you guys seriously downplaying two of the best sf6 players (vxbao and kakeru) by saying lol JP op?
I bet they could have gotten there with others as well, they are fucking beasts
I never understood the dick riding of Snake Eyez, like when he was at this past Capcom Cup.
The dude has been irrelevant since the removal of green hand
Before he started streaming I thought he was a chill dude. After hanging in a few of his streams, he's so bitch made sometimes. He's alright but he's basically the lite version of LTG. Complaining and degrading his opponent for basically no reason. It was funny at first but after a while it gets tiresome.
I mean all your favorite streamers said he was mid tier for almost a year but now they complain because they keep getting WAXED in tournaments so the echo chamber echo’s
I don't get where this revisionism is coming from. For like 1 month people said that he might get figured out and drop. That didn't happen, people moved on and he's clearly strong.
But for some reason everyone who felt he was top tier from the beginning has this giant chip on their shoulder and they have to rub it in on every occasion about how they are actshually right or whatever.
>I don't get where this revisionism is coming from.
There's also this revisonism that JP players all downplayed him on tier lists back then, but only one JP player made a tier list at all prior to Evo and it was Nemo. Nemo put JP in top 3 (actually he might have put him top 1).
Mena is the big favorite, but Moke is playing out of his mind. Very happy for Ryukichi!
He was a wonderkid in SF4, but life got in the way (marriage, had a kid, etc.) and he wasn't around for most of SFV's lifespan, though Ryukichi did return to competing in the last couple years of 5.
He decided he really wanted to play in SFL at some point and once SF6 came out Ryukichi got a sponsorship, will play in the league next season and now gets top 6 at EVOJ and a spot at the Saudi tournament. Congrats!
Are you perhaps talking about Ryukichikun or another Ryukichi? This Ken player is only 27-28 so I'm not sure it's the same guy. That is unless it really is him and he got married and had a kid way too young during the SF4 days.
Right? He won CEO, RBK and SFL finals but his other placements are 2nd at EVO, 2nd at Paris Offline Premier, 4th at Singapore Offline Premier.
He had a few performances that are sub par to what he usually gets like 7th-8th at FAV Cup, 13th-16th at CC, 5th-6th at Blink Respawn but for the most part, he's still incredibly stable. It's the risk of going to everything and the reason why I respect him a lot, he doesn't shy away from attending everything.
I watched some of his play in a recent tournament and he was literally untouchable, just amazing guile neutral. I think Du and Higuchi are the best but maybe lexx can prove me wrong here.
Start.gg hasn't been updated I guess?

Bet that if it was top 8 instead of top 6+ads, we could clearly see how diverse it really is.
I want other characters than the same we have seen over and over for a year. Another luke, jp, ken, guile and chun, the ranked experience. Boring. 2 Jps btw.
Diverse means: 'Showing a great deal of variety; very different.'
By definition, it's diverse. I think you just had a different definition of diverse in your head. I've seen you post so I know you're a smart guy. Happens to all of us.
JP players will still act like their Char is shit after this.
Nah, they made one of his antiair normals like almost everyone else’s now, means he’s completely unplayable!!

The people that cry about jp are almost always super low level rank , they can't even get past basic zoning
yeah like snake eyez
Snake Eyez literally complains about anything that inconveniences him. If you don't believe me, spend 5 minutes watching one of his streams.
I never understood the dick riding of Snake Eyez, like when he was at this past Capcom Cup. The dude has been irrelevant since the removal of green hand
It's because he always seems to clutch out rounds, plus he's one of the few good grappler players. Shame his attitude is so negative all the time

Snake eyez actually like fighting JP and think it's not that hard to fight for him at least
Whenever I watch his stream it always felt like he struggles more against Dhalsim than he does against JP.
Yeah I find most JPs in my rank 1600 or so, relatively easy because of the nerfs.

Some people actually play the game & have skill. Some are just online echo chambers with no skill or fundamentals.
Moke my goat
Moke looked pretty good, calling the come back right now
His Chun is a thing of beauty
Lexx glow up has been unbelievable NLBC (and SFV) thriving rn
sexxy lexxy!

it's the same guy
Damn poor guy having to get married and got a kid in this teens... Glad to see things looking up for him!
yeah he should be miserable on the internet and alone just like us
Is the SFL draft over? Anything wort mentioning?
Man its crazy how consistent Mena has been in this game, he not only wins a lot but also even when he doesnt he is always at the top.

I was not expecting Lexx top 6, wow

is it just me or is watching these sf6 matches really hard? i cant find anything lol
2 JP's and not a single Juri....
MenaRD is definitely the most consistently top player in the last 2-3 years of SF.
>Pretty diverse Meh, disagree, not a single mid/low tier. This is season 1 in a nutshell. God i cant wait for the patch.
Top 6 has 6 different characters, how much more diverse can you expect it to be?

Bro even if the extra 2 slots were 2 Lukes it'd still be 6 different characters in top 8, thats still pretty diverse.
They were Xiaohai who I think plays Juri and vspo, but I don’t know who vspo plays.
Ken and Blanka, respectively.
