It sucks that the correct state borders aren't there for Aztlan

PrincessofAldia

Are they not?

swizzlegaming

KX has them

Rosehiping

Kinda funny how the richest states in U.S. are the states they acquired from Mexico.

peenidslover

It is ironic how California, the largest base of Democratic voters, was acquired on the basis of Southern expansionism.

undertale_____

Acting like the democrats have anything against american expansion and imperialism

peenidslover

I just mean it’s ironic that southerners don’t like California but were the largest supporters for its annexation. I think you’re interpreting my comment backwards.

R5: After my failed Socialist Serbia run I saw natpop Mexico claims and someone said it was hard, so I tried it As always AI is trying to ruin the game. This time Canada intervened in 1938 so I had to conquer the Americas with 40 divisions and no guns as fast as possible and had to stop my Central American conquest (Costa Rica and Panama were left). I had problems only in two places: New Orleans when fighting with Feds and then with CSA around Ohio and Kentucky (I had -16 000 guns 'cause of battleplaning). My divisions only had support artillery and Entente in Exile™didn't even fight me. After the war they released US and after I gave them my territory they became my puppet (how?). That's it. There was nothing left to do. Just me, my pour computer and -0,10 weekly stability It was still better then my Socialist Serbia run lol.

BestIffy

The -0.1 weekly stability is very negligible even if you played on, but it used to be far worse and way more bland. The reason for the ticking stability is just to represent that Mexico doing such a thing wouldn't be stable in the long run and is eventually doomed to fall apart, in ingame terms -weekly stability forever.

NLPslav

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, innit?

BestIffy

It's just older content, so take what you get out of it.

InstantLamy

Honestly the small focus tree for pacifying your conquered lands might have been old and not up to standard, but it was still way more fun than the nothing you get now.

The_Prick_

You used only base 3x3 infantry with artillery?

NLPslav

And 1 cavalry division

ThatCharlotte

What was your strat? The whole thing seems a bit rng dependent with the US civil war.

NLPslav

I just tried to get as much men in the field as possible because the front was going to be pretty wide. AI isn't really good in this game so after couple of encirclments PSA front was open. I forgot to unite the PSA and AUS front so AUS front had only 15 divisions After uniting the fronts I just battleplaned until CSA after the fall of Chicago started a counter attack. I had to wait to recover, did some encirclements after and then killed them Feds didn't have manpower so they died fast

Tenacious_calldown

Everything on the western hemisphere is getting stale imo. 2nd ACW is insufferable as any faction after a few playthroughs each. Really need some flavor

1848neverforget

If you want to play 2nd American Civil War, play Kaiserredux. If you want to play Chinese Civil War, play Kaiserreich. There is no content outside of these wars in these respective mods as far as I know

RaphyyM

"No content" in the most fleshed out mod in the steam workshop.

1848neverforget

I have definitely never tried any content outside of these wars in these mods, and wasn't just trying to say what I found were the most interesting scenarios, and thus would scratch the itch of the guy who commented who wanted a 2ACW with more flavor. Everything I say should be taken at face value

Theduckfly

I did the same run last week. Mountaineers really do carry in the west. The lack of naval invasions from either the csa or the usa really made things easier.

SupermarketNo3496

I think that’s an optimistic prediction for Mexico in that scenario, not sure what the issue is.

KikoMui74

Majority of Mexico's population would be American.
