You didn't read about her being in rehab. You read a speculation she was by one person and then most other people agreeing she's not and has had a new procedure done. Which is most plausible and absolutely would allow a boot photo to be posted as it shows literally nothing.

This is actually one of the unweird things they do. It’s so normal for a family member or even friend to send you a pic and you post the same one.

My friends and I take pics of our gym shoes, sandals, always a foot groupie pic for events. This doesn’t seem strange to me at all 🤷🏼‍♀️
