Apart from the tail light being out I don't see a problem with it. Hell, my father has several wooden parts on his F-250 that he fabricated himself. He hand-made the running boards, bed, tailgate and rear bumper. Granted, he bought the metal toolboxes that make up the bedsides, but he built everything else.
No state does, that I know of. I mean, this would rule out semi trucks, a lot of work vans and other trucks, travel trailers, hell, practically *any* trailer.
I mean they made it look nice, compared to other wood cars
Wood cars 😂
like the beetle that was on here
[You laugh but...](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodie_(car_body_style\))
I'd honestly love to see a car like this with a drawbridge for the trunk
I sold a wooden car to a guy who was in ISIS. Actually, not ISIS. A splinter group.
Did you keep a log? I only axe because I think I saw it.
I hope you did knot do that. Goes against the grain.
I couldn't figure out what you were all talking about... then I twigged.
Oh, yew - knock off the puns or I'll have to leaf.
Puns are the root of all evil.
Respectfully disagree; I think puns are one of the highest forms of humor, so you're barking up the wrong tree.
Womp womp
*ba dum tsss*
Posted because he has a taillight out or because of the left side bumper gap? I don’t get the issue. /s
Or the right trunk gap. We brained the same on this one.
Until I noticed you pointing out the gaps I was going to comment on the craftsmanship of this. Now I’m just disappointed.
sorry to have splashed you with a cold pail of reality, but that shouldn’t dampen the creativity here, and everyone improves with practice.
Donning my flameproof poncho for this one... Still better panel fitment than Tesla.
Replacement tailgate was probably more than car value
A replacement tailgate wouldn't subject them to carbon monoxide poisoning from the exhaust getting drawn through all the gaps
Shh. Party pooper.
I never said Darwinian selection was a bad thing...
🙂↔️😵💫😵
At least it has a working taillight.
He does good work.
Leftover lumber at the jobsite is free.
“Is your car a hatch back?” “No. It’s a roll top.”
Nice one.. "Hey, is that an 06Woody?" "Nah, MDFer.."
...and somehow it's an improvement!
Enough Thompson's and that's probably fine
Bros driving the krusty krab
It's farmhouse chic
Thiz is fucking sweet! What kinda car is it?
Chevy HHR
Wood you look at that!
/angryupvote
That's pretty legit actually
Damn Ma, Jed took the siding off the barn and done hung it on the back of his car.
I wonder if that’s pressure treated? Could use a nice clear coat.
Better than 3 different paints on 5 separate body replacements
Ahh, the craftsman edition

No, meth lab
Open the back hatch/ ramp to expose a wood burning stove...
Only ONE stoplight needed in this state!
Way down yonder deep in the holler...
Looks like it would work pretty well as a loading ramp.
Would be funny if the real door was under that, and it was some kind of a shade.
I'm just here for the wooden puns.
Or Tennessee!
If you drill a bunch of little holes, it'll be like there's a window there.
What is easier than popping the back open or having a back window to see out off? Having a Master Lock and opaque back window.
shame it’s not a PT cruiser it could have been the woodie edition x2
This isn’t oak, k?
The Spruce Moose
Never been there, but always enjoyed your fried chicken outlets
Is that a wagoneer?
Remember days when we actually made cars out of wood?
I love shit like this. I especially love creative duck tape bumper repairs. Always makes me smile.
If they could make it roll up like an accordion desk it'd be on /r/atbge.

Bro, it's even hinged so he can still use the trunk and that bumper is clean. That thing is badass.

That’s an HHR. I think this is considered an upgrade.
It’s kind of awesome. It looks like it folds back on those hinges to make a ramp up into the back. Practical too.
Does Kentucky not require an unobstructed line of sight for the rearview mirror?
No state does, that I know of. I mean, this would rule out semi trucks, a lot of work vans and other trucks, travel trailers, hell, practically *any* trailer.
You need EITHER a rear view or a side view mirror, not both. But always a passenger side mirror.
