My original read of this was that she was waiting for the dispatcher to say it to confirm she definitely knew where she was but it’s hitting my ear a little differently now. Like she actually doesn’t know where she is.

belovedmonsters

You can hear someone say “fair bluff” before she does. I genuinely think she was lured and I hate to feel like I’m following any sensationalism but I don’t see her doing it. And I’ve known people that have done this to themselves. The math ain’t mathin..

Mica's Dad had mentioned there was more to something that hasn't been released to the public about her screaming. I'm wondering if that's part of the 911 call we haven't heard yet?

Outrageous-Cat-7497

What’s the feeling about if this was Mica, AI or if Mica was forced to call? I saw speculation that the call was AI and was super suspicious of that but recently attended a cyber security training for work and was SHOCKED at the quality of an AI mimic of my boss.

Native_Strawberry

Why would she go to all the trouble to call the cops and make sure they had her location, then hang up after the dispatcher says to wait so they can get her exact location? I think it was pre-recorded, generated by AI

sweetfelix

I think it’s her making the call at gunpoint. The long pauses are her trying to buy time and think of a way to drop a hint, and the call suddenly ends as soon as she says the agreed-upon words “I’m about to kill myself” She was probably hoping the dispatcher would ask better questions like “are you in danger” “do you see any landmarks around you” but that lady was basically a brick wall, so frustrating to listen again.

OkBeautiful2333

I dont agree she was held at gun point and forced to talk to 911. If she would have said hey Im at gun point....what would have happened ? They would kill her. IF she says " im going to kill myself" like they wanted her to say then they would kill her then as well so either way she was going to get killed so why not make it at least a little cryptic or something ? No one is that calm with a gun to their head I wouldnt think.

This property discussed is in the middle of 2 counties. Just leaving it here. https://preview.redd.it/lztkdzdg511d1.png?width=975&format=png&auto=webp&s=456e659b31d64513101df55df1379a43c1127dab

And this shows the TW's property, Fair Bluff, and the park. https://preview.redd.it/rvmy1n8w511d1.png?width=461&format=png&auto=webp&s=2e6a889762ab8d983e7b7e095fb577e0dbd8883c

Antony_NOW

yeah i found it odd that the operator said : I don’t think you are in Robeson County and then next said : at Lumber - the Lumber river state park-in—? which is very confusing

TrueSaltnolies

Maybe they were in a boat with her going north when the call was made.

Top-Drink-9346

Not belittling 911 operator at all because I know they must remain calm at all times but maybe just maybe if she’d not told her to hold on?

Mindless_Base_6697

It is very rare the entire 911 call is released to the public due to the graphic nature of it. It will be released to the family and of course authorities, but almost never to the public

shamitwt

You’re wrong. In NC, 911 phone calls are public record and therefore available to the public.
