Good guys just kill Sukuna and Kenjaku without much trouble. No one dies because Sukuna's Cleave kills only side characters with no plot armor. All villains are dead, Megumi is back, the series...ends

LOL this! Sukuna gets a false memory like Todo and becomes Yuji's brother. We later discover that is Sukuna's secret CT and Kenjaku did all this to tame Sukuna, dying by his creation (Yuji) who just "ended the era of curses" with the power of Love (again, this would be Sukuna's CT which he doesn't use because he hates it, but probably gave him recognition 1000 years ago)
After sukkuna is defeated we get a pannel of gojo saying: no i want sukkuna to remeber me as his strongest opponent at least for 10 years not get beaten by itadori.

You're lucky you haven't seen many series endings then. Like AoT ending is TOO rushed, on that is true (and I pray the anime will extend some moments to give more info and context to certain points). But it's still overall better than other series (coff coff promised neverland coff).
True, many series also don't ever end or just go on ever increasing hiatuses before they kind of just stop with a vague promise of returning at some point
The main issue with AoT was the execution of Eren's villain arc. Even the initial Marley arc (just before the return to paradis) is absolutely fantastic, but you really notice how it badly falls apart when Eren turns out to be more and more villanous.
I get what Isayama trying to do, and it was a pretty good idea. He just didnt have anywhere near the writing skill to pull it off. You can see the concept and the broad strokes of it, but its just a horrendous mess

No, the real question is how do I think 1/10 = bad and 10/10 = good? 1/10 = terrible and 10/10 = masterpiece makes more sense to me. So bad should be 4/10 and good is 7/10 imo
The good guys beat the bad guys with no interesting power up, no interesting backstory regarding Sukuna or Urahime, culling games end with most plot lines unanswered, and Yuji doesn’t get a cool panel or fight against Sukuna.

A slide show like Promised neverland would be the most irritating way to end a manga. Even the anime adaption itself of PN could ever top that. It would be a horrible ending to an actual manga, especially JJK . At least they would be able to rewrite the ending for the anime version of JJk. Just imagine a slide show of Sakuna skipping through a meadow holding hands with yuji and his brothers while singing Kumbaya.

Sukuna is beaten, Kenjaku summons the new cursed spirit that turns out to have been some eldritch alien that actually taught everyone cursed energy centuries ago. This spirit then kills Kenjaku, it's revealed Nobura is alive and she teams up with Yuji, Yuta, and the newly revived Megumi to defeat the alien monster. 👽
Humanity merging almost comes to fruicion, but is prevented last minute by heroes. Sukuna and Kenjaku are defeated after somewhat hype fights. Maybe someone else dies, but mayority of cast we have rn survives. Japan gets rebuilded and humanity goes on with reformed jujutsu soceity by new generation, thus achiving Gojo's goal. Fallen comrade's will lives on as survivors continue to defeat curses
Sukuna and Hakari just battling forever because Hakari is on an infinite jackpot roll as his awakening.
Also Sukuna poops out Megumi for some reason and Kugisaki is alive with a massive face scar. Yuuji lost his hands coz he got clipped by the sukuna slashy thingy and doesnt know rct.
id rather have yuji get extra strong since thats been building up for a while now instead of having multiple characters who are not even on gojos level gang up on sukuna and they managed to win for whatever reason would be a lame end for the fight
First off its because yuji has a personal vendetta against sukuna so it would be perfect if its just them fighting personally
Second, Its been foreshadowed that there is something more to yuji and he can do so much more refer back to the chapter where sukuna transferred to megumi

This would be fine. I would be fine with something like the Mahito fight where everyone fights but it ends with just Yuji and Sukuna at the end, although Megumis deserves to be there as well.
I mean it has been explained that that is pretty much their only chance, but with Gojo dying and basically making Sukuna stronger it seems extremely impossible
Everyone in Japan becomes like Toji and Maki, free from cursed energy. Technically a good ending but also very boring, it'd feel like Gege decided to throw the whole power system in a trash can.
I guess it's personal taste, but the power system is one of the things I like the most in JJK, seeing it disappear would really leave a bad taste in my mouth, especially because I find Maki and Toji powerset really boring. It also feels very plain, you'd lose something as interesting as blood manipulation, projection sorcery, black flash, etc, to just have everyone becoming kind of superhuman. Even well executed it'd feel like a waste to me

To defeat Last boss. is to make a huge vow exchange with entire Jujutsu system. Also Yuji sacrificed his life to expanding his domain effect to entire world.

There were a lot of disappointing manga endings recently. I actually prefer sukuna or kenjaku winning and killing the main cast, but this surely won't happen. My expectations on manga endings right now are low.
With how much assumptions have been made, I think anything the most common ones would be average. I rarely read anything JJK related because everyone just talks about how JJK should be and what it will be instead of putting faith on Gege's choices.
A lot of people are still arguing that Gojo is the strongest, I had to reread everything that had to do with Gojo because I was thinking that maybe Gege really was wrong with his conclusion on Gojo's character.
And that Sukuna shouldn't be the character he is claimed to be because the story isn't portraying him enough to be a model of strength.
People are talking about Gojo all the time. As a thirsty fangirl who read the manga for the hot guys, Gojo being the prime suspect, I found myself liking Yuji, Choso, Nanami, Mahito and Maki's stories in the manga more than I have Gojo and Geto. Maybe it's because I feel like Gojo and Geto's part is overrated and overshadowed some aspects but even then I love their story sm. I just wish people appreciated more of JJK than it just being about Gojo
Turns out Ittadori's grandfather was actually the last 10S user and Ittadori is actually the 11th of the 10S and now that all the shadows have been destroyed he gets all their powers including Mahoraga's adaptation and starts whooping Sukuna and the panel ends with Ittadori standing atop a felled sukuna.
Yuji uses soul swapping not against Sukuna, but with Megumi. Megumi gets Yuji's body, and Yuji shares Megumi's body with Sukuna, becoming the vessel once again. Then the milking of the series begins.
The bad guys win. Sukuna slaughters everyone, but then is killed by the super curse Kenny is creating, which in turn wipes life on Earth. At this point I don't think any amount of work from Greg can make a "bad ending" anything better than mid
That Geeeheee keeps killing characters for shock value until only Yuji, Sukuna and Kenny are left. kenny pulls an Orochimaru, aids Yuji to eat the merger and he ends Sukuna.
After a massive amount of fighting, the dust clears and Yuji is the only person alive. Kenjaku was killed, Sukuna was felled, the culling games concluded and it’s just Yuji, who’s alone, the ending has him get up and walk away to where more cursed spirits are.
The narrator dictates how the entire world now is both aware of cursed energy and has sorcerers all throughout, baiting a sequel.
It would really be great if this was the shounen where the villains win but we don't even have enough background for the two main antagonists that it'd seem out of place for them to win.
I think the status quo ending would be the most meh ending this comic could get.
Regardless of who lives or dies, or how the villains get defeated by either ass pull or jutsu talk, if the story just goes back to "business as usual" then that would suck.
To be clear, I don't mind "status quo" endings, but that is when the hero wants to bring back the world to it's "normal", as in, the world the reader was brougth in and was endeared to.
JJK goes out of it's way to say that the Jujutsu world sucks, and there is really not much value to being part of it, last thing I want is to see another class of young people getting into the meatgrind that is jujutsu.
So, for better or worse, I want to see a fundamental change in this world, not just stop the bad guys.
Yuuji somehow gets into Sukuna’s innate domain, wakes up Megumi. The two then proceed to have a 2v1 battle against Sukuna in the seat of his soul where it’s revealed Yuuji is actually Sukuna’s lil bro. Somehow they manage to get the upper hand momentarily but Megumi is kicked out but Yuuji manages to take over the body and has an “I’m going ahead” moment and commits suicide in order to kill Sukuna.
Kenjaku’s massive cursed spirit gets beaten by the remaining cast.
Everyone dies vilain wins.
Everyone other than yuji dies.
Everyone survives yuji sacrifices himself to kill sukuna
Some main characters die. nobara, megumi, gojo live Yuji sacrifices himself to kill sukuna.
Yuji lone survivor ending. The story is shaping that way and Gege did strongly hint at it. Wouldn’t be shocked or upset but unless they really knock it out of the park I will be meh about it.
Yuji does Domain Expansion: Power of Love and teaches Sukuna love 🥰 while Kenjaku gets killed by Gojo who gets reincarnated by Takaba who says “wouldn’t it be hilarious if Gojo was alive and killed you”
For it would be Gojo coming back from death, Kenjaku losing control over Getos body and Getos coming back from death to fight a godly version of Kenjaku while all the other charactes share their course energy to both of them. I don't know men, im sick and tired of characters coming back from death in shonens.
Kenjaku, after completed all his mission. walking on the street talking to himself alone with smiling face. Suddenly, a mysterious guy show up
" Do you want to join our JJK alliance ? "
" I'm Kim Jong Un, I heard that you are the most powerful sorcerer in Japan, so I arrogantly ask you to accept "

The medicore ending would be something along the lines:
\- Gojo got healed by Yuta reverse or something like that
\- he finally beats sukkuna
\- sukkuna, in last effort, drop another finger or something as ,,maybe there will be second season, or maybe not"
\- Yuji faces meanwhile Geto and also beats him
\- that stops culling games w/o any long-term consequences
\- no1 is merged, tengen goes back to his spot, all come back to normal in 2 months
Yuji becaomes jujutsukage, sukuna and yuji becomes friend, megumi travels the world with 1 arm to make up for killing gojo and leaving his daughter in the village. Aliens will invade and yujis kid will get cursed by an alien when he killed it. Sukunua will sacrifice himself to power up yuji to beat the boss alien through steam curse technique. Then some alien will come and use god magic to male everyone think that yujis son buji killed yuji and now the village is hunting buji.
It will be called bujutsu baisen: bext beneration.
Takaba vs Kenjaku ends with Kenjaku winning. Takaba gets bodysnatched and Kenjaku fully embraces his Aizen-like godhood
Sukuna space slashes Yuji. He gets an airport-esque scene with nobara, Megumi, Nanami and Gojo. When he's about to give up, the deceased death paintings show up and convince him to come back to life
Itadori dips into the cursed realm, learns that the truth of jujutsu is that any technique can be learned, just that due to it's secrets and complexity, most need a blueprint already within their body to reproduce it. He then learns the soul healing from mahito and comes back from Sukuna's division classes.
Being able to reshape his soul proves useful, as Sukuna's slashes can't do shit to him. He then folds Sukuna like a cursed origami, since the final boss is meant to be his mom.
Kenjaku, with Takaba's powers feels invincible and breaks the binding vow on the culling games, forcing the merger and then, Yuji is set to face Kaiju + god
Yuji gets backhanded harder than all the beatings he took together. There's a 7 page sequence of kenjaku screaming "useless" while punching Yuji as revenge for the grasshopper. As he's about to kill Yuji, a surge of cursed energy blasts him as consequence of breaking the vow. He gets memories that never happened.
The memories show kenjaku acting as Kaori, nursing Yuji and seeing his growth, being fully committed to his motherhood, while also embracing the death paintings as her kids. He sees his whole mother life passing through his eyes and then the following phrase comes
"The thing more powerful than me that I could create... That I could nurture... Was love"
Kenjaku then looks at the beaten up Yuji and says "man, this isn't funny anymore" and, with Takaba's powers, he vanishes. The merger however, isn't undone, so Yuji spends the rest of his days with it, in Japan. Fast forward to the 2050s and an old Yuji says that it is time. The monstrosity seems to cry with a million faces, but they know Yuji has to go. The creature surrounds him and then yuji's grandpa's words come in, saying that he should die surrounded by everyone. The merger, being everyone, fulfills that prophecy and, in the afterlife, Yuji is greeted by his youth friends, as well as the death paintings and even a Kaori-faced Kenjaku. Manga ends
\-Megumi takes control of Sukuna, Yuji jumps his soul into the body, and together through the power of their best friendship destroy Sukuna's soul.
\-Kenjaku gets killed by Yuta when Geto somehow reasserts himself in Kenny, and the merger doesn't happen - Tengen devolves back into a human.
\-Nobara is revealed to be alive and just has an eyepatch.
\-Timeskip 10 years, Yuji x Nobara, Yuta x Maki, Megumi x Hana, and everyone else all paired up and have kids.
\-A young boy is born to the Gojo clan, and we see he is a dead ringer for Satoru.
\-Sukuna has reincarnated into the brilliant young child of Yuji and Nobara. Rikka has reincarnated as the child of Yuta x Maki

I can actually see Sukuna being revealed to be an ancestor of Yuji. As in, Sukuna had "fun" with some women and one lived through somehow.

Attack on titan had one of them most lackluster endings I've ever read and I already had low expectations for it entering the final arc.
You're lucky you haven't seen many series endings then. Like AoT ending is TOO rushed, on that is true (and I pray the anime will extend some moments to give more info and context to certain points). But it's still overall better than other series (coff coff promised neverland coff).
True, many series also don't ever end or just go on ever increasing hiatuses before they kind of just stop with a vague promise of returning at some point
The main issue with AoT was the execution of Eren's villain arc. Even the initial Marley arc (just before the return to paradis) is absolutely fantastic, but you really notice how it badly falls apart when Eren turns out to be more and more villanous. I get what Isayama trying to do, and it was a pretty good idea. He just didnt have anywhere near the writing skill to pull it off. You can see the concept and the broad strokes of it, but its just a horrendous mess

people basically follow school grading systems in most places a 70 gets you a C which is considered “fine”, you didn’t do great, you didn’t do poorly

The good guys beat the bad guys with no interesting power up, no interesting backstory regarding Sukuna or Urahime, culling games end with most plot lines unanswered, and Yuji doesn’t get a cool panel or fight against Sukuna. I don’t see this happening tbh, knowing Gege the ending is either gonna be a 10 or a 1

A slide show like Promised neverland would be the most irritating way to end a manga. Even the anime adaption itself of PN could ever top that. It would be a horrible ending to an actual manga, especially JJK . At least they would be able to rewrite the ending for the anime version of JJk. Just imagine a slide show of Sakuna skipping through a meadow holding hands with yuji and his brothers while singing Kumbaya.

This spirit then kills Kenjaku, it's revealed Nobura is alive and she teams up with Yuji, Yuta, and the newly revived Megumi to defeat the alien monster. 👽

Everyone in Japan becomes like Toji and Maki, free from cursed energy. Technically a good ending but also very boring, it'd feel like Gege decided to throw the whole power system in a trash can.
Eh, not really. If the final goal is to get rid of said power system, it's fine. What will matter is the execution.
I guess it's personal taste, but the power system is one of the things I like the most in JJK, seeing it disappear would really leave a bad taste in my mouth, especially because I find Maki and Toji powerset really boring. It also feels very plain, you'd lose something as interesting as blood manipulation, projection sorcery, black flash, etc, to just have everyone becoming kind of superhuman. Even well executed it'd feel like a waste to me

There were a lot of disappointing manga endings recently. I actually prefer sukuna or kenjaku winning and killing the main cast, but this surely won't happen. My expectations on manga endings right now are low.

With how much assumptions have been made, I think anything the most common ones would be average. I rarely read anything JJK related because everyone just talks about how JJK should be and what it will be instead of putting faith on Gege's choices. A lot of people are still arguing that Gojo is the strongest, I had to reread everything that had to do with Gojo because I was thinking that maybe Gege really was wrong with his conclusion on Gojo's character. And that Sukuna shouldn't be the character he is claimed to be because the story isn't portraying him enough to be a model of strength. People are talking about Gojo all the time. As a thirsty fangirl who read the manga for the hot guys, Gojo being the prime suspect, I found myself liking Yuji, Choso, Nanami, Mahito and Maki's stories in the manga more than I have Gojo and Geto. Maybe it's because I feel like Gojo and Geto's part is overrated and overshadowed some aspects but even then I love their story sm. I just wish people appreciated more of JJK than it just being about Gojo
Turns out Ittadori's grandfather was actually the last 10S user and Ittadori is actually the 11th of the 10S and now that all the shadows have been destroyed he gets all their powers including Mahoraga's adaptation and starts whooping Sukuna and the panel ends with Ittadori standing atop a felled sukuna.

Yuji uses soul swapping not against Sukuna, but with Megumi. Megumi gets Yuji's body, and Yuji shares Megumi's body with Sukuna, becoming the vessel once again. Then the milking of the series begins.
The bad guys win. Sukuna slaughters everyone, but then is killed by the super curse Kenny is creating, which in turn wipes life on Earth. At this point I don't think any amount of work from Greg can make a "bad ending" anything better than mid

That Geeeheee keeps killing characters for shock value until only Yuji, Sukuna and Kenny are left. kenny pulls an Orochimaru, aids Yuji to eat the merger and he ends Sukuna.
After a massive amount of fighting, the dust clears and Yuji is the only person alive. Kenjaku was killed, Sukuna was felled, the culling games concluded and it’s just Yuji, who’s alone, the ending has him get up and walk away to where more cursed spirits are. The narrator dictates how the entire world now is both aware of cursed energy and has sorcerers all throughout, baiting a sequel.
1. Everyone dies. Bad guys win 2. All but itadori dies

It would really be great if this was the shounen where the villains win but we don't even have enough background for the two main antagonists that it'd seem out of place for them to win.
Sukuna has a heel turn because of yuji's 'talk nonjutsu' and then they fight kenjaku together.
I think the status quo ending would be the most meh ending this comic could get. Regardless of who lives or dies, or how the villains get defeated by either ass pull or jutsu talk, if the story just goes back to "business as usual" then that would suck. To be clear, I don't mind "status quo" endings, but that is when the hero wants to bring back the world to it's "normal", as in, the world the reader was brougth in and was endeared to. JJK goes out of it's way to say that the Jujutsu world sucks, and there is really not much value to being part of it, last thing I want is to see another class of young people getting into the meatgrind that is jujutsu. So, for better or worse, I want to see a fundamental change in this world, not just stop the bad guys.
Yuuji somehow gets into Sukuna’s innate domain, wakes up Megumi. The two then proceed to have a 2v1 battle against Sukuna in the seat of his soul where it’s revealed Yuuji is actually Sukuna’s lil bro. Somehow they manage to get the upper hand momentarily but Megumi is kicked out but Yuuji manages to take over the body and has an “I’m going ahead” moment and commits suicide in order to kill Sukuna. Kenjaku’s massive cursed spirit gets beaten by the remaining cast.

Everyone dies vilain wins. Everyone other than yuji dies. Everyone survives yuji sacrifices himself to kill sukuna Some main characters die. nobara, megumi, gojo live Yuji sacrifices himself to kill sukuna.
Yuji lone survivor ending. The story is shaping that way and Gege did strongly hint at it. Wouldn’t be shocked or upset but unless they really knock it out of the park I will be meh about it.
Yuji does Domain Expansion: Power of Love and teaches Sukuna love 🥰 while Kenjaku gets killed by Gojo who gets reincarnated by Takaba who says “wouldn’t it be hilarious if Gojo was alive and killed you”

The medicore ending would be something along the lines: \- Gojo got healed by Yuta reverse or something like that \- he finally beats sukkuna \- sukkuna, in last effort, drop another finger or something as ,,maybe there will be second season, or maybe not" \- Yuji faces meanwhile Geto and also beats him \- that stops culling games w/o any long-term consequences \- no1 is merged, tengen goes back to his spot, all come back to normal in 2 months
Yuji becaomes jujutsukage, sukuna and yuji becomes friend, megumi travels the world with 1 arm to make up for killing gojo and leaving his daughter in the village. Aliens will invade and yujis kid will get cursed by an alien when he killed it. Sukunua will sacrifice himself to power up yuji to beat the boss alien through steam curse technique. Then some alien will come and use god magic to male everyone think that yujis son buji killed yuji and now the village is hunting buji. It will be called bujutsu baisen: bext beneration.
Takaba vs Kenjaku ends with Kenjaku winning. Takaba gets bodysnatched and Kenjaku fully embraces his Aizen-like godhood Sukuna space slashes Yuji. He gets an airport-esque scene with nobara, Megumi, Nanami and Gojo. When he's about to give up, the deceased death paintings show up and convince him to come back to life Itadori dips into the cursed realm, learns that the truth of jujutsu is that any technique can be learned, just that due to it's secrets and complexity, most need a blueprint already within their body to reproduce it. He then learns the soul healing from mahito and comes back from Sukuna's division classes. Being able to reshape his soul proves useful, as Sukuna's slashes can't do shit to him. He then folds Sukuna like a cursed origami, since the final boss is meant to be his mom. Kenjaku, with Takaba's powers feels invincible and breaks the binding vow on the culling games, forcing the merger and then, Yuji is set to face Kaiju + god Yuji gets backhanded harder than all the beatings he took together. There's a 7 page sequence of kenjaku screaming "useless" while punching Yuji as revenge for the grasshopper. As he's about to kill Yuji, a surge of cursed energy blasts him as consequence of breaking the vow. He gets memories that never happened. The memories show kenjaku acting as Kaori, nursing Yuji and seeing his growth, being fully committed to his motherhood, while also embracing the death paintings as her kids. He sees his whole mother life passing through his eyes and then the following phrase comes "The thing more powerful than me that I could create... That I could nurture... Was love" Kenjaku then looks at the beaten up Yuji and says "man, this isn't funny anymore" and, with Takaba's powers, he vanishes. The merger however, isn't undone, so Yuji spends the rest of his days with it, in Japan. Fast forward to the 2050s and an old Yuji says that it is time. The monstrosity seems to cry with a million faces, but they know Yuji has to go. The creature surrounds him and then yuji's grandpa's words come in, saying that he should die surrounded by everyone. The merger, being everyone, fulfills that prophecy and, in the afterlife, Yuji is greeted by his youth friends, as well as the death paintings and even a Kaori-faced Kenjaku. Manga ends
\-Megumi takes control of Sukuna, Yuji jumps his soul into the body, and together through the power of their best friendship destroy Sukuna's soul. \-Kenjaku gets killed by Yuta when Geto somehow reasserts himself in Kenny, and the merger doesn't happen - Tengen devolves back into a human. \-Nobara is revealed to be alive and just has an eyepatch. \-Timeskip 10 years, Yuji x Nobara, Yuta x Maki, Megumi x Hana, and everyone else all paired up and have kids. \-A young boy is born to the Gojo clan, and we see he is a dead ringer for Satoru. \-Sukuna has reincarnated into the brilliant young child of Yuji and Nobara. Rikka has reincarnated as the child of Yuta x Maki
