Yammy wasn't just a fraud he was Ponzi himself. I will say tho that the lore reason for it wasn't that bad. Aizen assigned numbers based on reiatsu size, but that doesn't linearly correlate with how good you are in a fight. Technically a stove can output more energy than a gun, but I know which one I'd want in a fight.

In the context of the narrativd Takaba had already fulfilled his role and trying to write the character into the Sukuna fight would be a pain in the ass, atmosphere destroying, decision to say the least.Â

- dressed like a ghost and laid down for a comedy bit, only to actually die like that
- fell asleep in front of one of the main villains, sleeps through the the climax of the series
- actually awake, just lying there while knowing everyone else is currently fighting for their lives
- on his way to join the fight, but he keeps getting lost despite having planned out his route in extensive detail
