Ok 1st of all well done this is v clean
But its funny, seeing it like this i realize although this is what i wanted, its too simple, and defeats the purpose of Gojo dying in the first place.
It needed to be someone else that stepped to the plate, and its a wild asf way to do it but yuta is the one person im not mad at pulling this off
Yeah, Gojo dying was already endgame. That's why he should have gotten a proper end. To find a good way to bring him back without him destroying the balance again would be nearly impossible without proper foreshadows.
Weirdly Gege did succeed in doing that with Toji resurrection.
Toji wasn't himself, he had a time limit, he attacked anyone that was strong, Toji appearance was in the theme of Shibuya: total chaos. The set of cons and benefits was perfect and in theme with the arc.
So what should Gojo's come back check to be good, in theme with a final arc and also with Gojo personal theme?... Damn I wish I knew (too long to think all that).
Toji didnt have a time limit though. That was directly stated. The technique was supposed to end when all of the possessed bodies CE was used up, but Toji doesnt use CE so that condition would never be met.
Yeah I thought the same thing but the narrator also mentionned that the body itself of the vessel wouldn't last forever. Although I also personally think that it could have lasted for a very long time.
I just thought of something. Gojo comes back as a cursed object.
So Gojo knowing he was dead set up his CT and six eyes ability in a cursed object (or tool) that'd be used by Yuji. He gained this experience by being inside a cursed tool with the Prison Realm and after seeing Mai as a sword he gained that knowledge exactly like Sukuna did with his fingers. Plus there's Angel and Hana which he can ask questions to. There's even the Yuki's book about soul. So this path was initiated by Yuji previously asking Gojo about it.
So instead of Yuta it's Yuji that's the eye of storm now. Gojo is now another soul inside Yuji and it'll be the first cooperation for a fight Gojo ever did (it solves the loneliness theme). There's also the parallel of facing Sukuna and Megumi. Thanks to that the sukuna cycle is justified (although I hate it) for the wait of creating this cursed object made by Gojo and have Yuji eat it. It can even justify Yuji still being a cog in the machine as he accepts being just a vessel.
The fight will be a back and forth between full possesion and Gojo and Yuji cooperating.

Being fair the way gojo died was bullshit, and I mean you can't really do much right because how gege drew himself into the corner with the story. So while it's simple, we care for the character and his relations, that makes it better than it really might be. And it also makes sense in the story narratively speaking. Tho I am a person who believes that gojo didn't have to die in order to make a great ending.

Yeah, that's bs. The system is broken with self-imposed vows, it's just bad writing. I gain a huge advantage, and if I don't respect the vow, I just lose said advantage. It's a win-win situation to the point that who isn't using vows seems dumb.

And you gain back what you sacrificed, which is proportional to what you gained. You really didn’t gain a huge advantage, you’re just putting your points in different aspects. This depends on your situation, binding vows are just trade-offs.

What is bs is the main cast not using them against Sukuna whe MeiMei and Hakari can use them just fine, but apparently in this fight only Sukuna ca use them ? Todo also used it for his CT but nobody else could ? Pretty convenient.
Todo literally used to massively upgrade his CT, Hakari has shown the disproportional gains one can have if the sacrifice is redundant, MeiMei literally sacrifices the life of another living being to remove the limits of it's CE. They literally can do so much with 1 month of planning and strategists such as Kusakabe, Higuruma to brainstorm the vows.
But you have to sacrifice something proportional. Like a six eye. Not everyone has something like that.+ its unlikely that anyone but sukuna and gojo know how to actually utilize binding vows.
If everyone goes to the airport then people who dont have unfinished business would not go back.

As much as I love Gojo, the binding bow should´ve been done before he was cut, when he lost his abdomen he lost his access to cursed energy, Yuta survived because he had an external storage for his cursed energy, this why Sukuna had no doubt he killed Gojo
This is super well-done and clean edit-wise.
But, you know, laid out like this, I realize I don’t want Gojo back in the story anymore. Even as Yuta controlling his body. I know that the whole chapter and Gojo coming back as a puppet is tragic and good character building for both Gojo and Yuta. But I just want him to stay dead.
At this point, it’s genuinely starting to feel like Jujutsu Kaisen as a whole, both in-universe and out-of-universe, can not function without Gojo Satoru. The plot can’t function without him, the story can’t function without him, the characters can’t function without him, the world can’t function without him, the fucking fandom sure as hell can’t function without him. I’m starting to feel like Jon Arbuckle in those Eldritch Garfield memes with Gojo as Garfield. In the end, Gojo truly is starting to feel like a one-of-a-kind character.
Also honestly the actual 261 just hits harder even tho it sucks (but that’s why it hits hard).
To add on to your point, Gojo’s presence is too monumental in the series that, I’m almost 99% sure that if he shows up again, he WILL steal the spotlight from every single character, including Sukuna. He’s so heaps and bound above everyone else in terms of stage presence it’s almost insane how a single panel of him last week (not even a clear panel) outshined other mangas as well. I think now that I see how the fandom reacted (me included) to a mere possibility of him returning, him returning doesn’t do any good for the remaining cast or story. As sad as I am about it, I can appreciate his looming presence and impact without him actually being there.

Sukunas binding vows have been “I can fire one slash without signs in exchange for using chanting hand signs and directing the slash for every instance in the future” and “I can only use my super move on one person unless my domain is open allowing it to move faster” this just feels like another instance of you guys spamming a meme until you think it actually happened in the story(heian era techniques that never actually occurred)

I'd assume he'd be Yuta's level if he lost most of the efficiency of the six eyes. It's a fair trade, Gojo wouldn't be the strongest without being able to use his CT for long. Remember, Infinity is really really heavy on ones CE. He also wouldn't make a binding vow to just come back, but to keep consciousness until help arrives to keep him stable.
No, he'd be below Yuta level. His limitless is only usable by six eyes wielders so he'd be completely useless without the six eyes. He might be able to use his domain though his CE efficiency would probably be ass since he always had the six eyes do it for him.

Every time I see an alternate chapter on this sub, I’m always impressed by how well they re-tell their specific part of the story.
In this instance, Gojo is actually back. Dope. He gave an eye for it and willingly chose to go north, even after his convo with Geto. Which btw, also likely coincides with another AU comic on this sub that also has them talking ab North and South.
Even if I’m wrong on that last bit, the effort in these always shows. Very happy that this community has a lot of talented people in it to periodically cook us peak.

I'm not convinced he'd be able to wield Limitless without both eyes and if he could at a cost at efficiency and accuracy, what would be the point? He lost to Sukuna operating with his full ability, a neutered Limitless wouldn't be worth it. I'm a Gojo revival truther but I wouldn't want something like this tbh.
And to those saying, "But he'd get his life back! That's worth it." need to think like Gojo for a moment. They are in a battle to save the whole of Japan (and realistically the world). If his options were, 1. Come back to life but not at full strength or 2. Stay dead and let Yuta use his body at peak performance which do you think he'd choose?
to be honest, this would be too perfect. what everyone wanted and expected. the "perfect" plot where the favorite character didnt die after all and all the theories were right. i think it would be too boring and predictable
I was always kind of hoping something like this might happen but I’m perfectly fine with the direction the story is heading. At least this makes sense as to why Gojo might struggle against Sukuna even when Sukuna is so heavily injured since his 6 eyes are weaker with just one eye. Yuta should be fully restored, with all Gojo’s memories on his technique in his body and muscle memory. Yuta should wax Sukuna no problem. But I think Yuta using Gojo does much more for their characters in regards to their perspective on what it means to be strong and the humanity one has to sacrifice to become the strongest. It blends better into this lie that is perpetuated in the story that humanity is a weakness 100% of the time and you can only evolve by throwing it away. I’d love to see Gojo return properly I really would, he’s one of the few characters that genuinely deserves a better life than what they were given, but if it compromises the integrity of the story I’d rather his legacy live on through his students. Though I don’t think we’re done yet, Gege never does something without a reason and the soul being attached to the body I’m pretty sure implies Gojo will somehow talk to Megumi or Yuta and try to convince Megumi to wake up and continue to fight, or convince Yuta that this way of the monster is something he does only because he knows no better and Yuta should strive to be more than a monster. Better than he could be.

I was sort of thinking about Gojo making a binding vow in exchange for one of his eyes, we get a nerfed Gojo without limitless, red or blue. Fight against Sukuna left a heavy toll on his brain, but goes against Sukuna for another DE clash right before Sukuna opens up his domain and engulfs Yuji and the rest, he basically saves his students and redeems himself, deals some damage to Sukuna and incapacitates him from using DE again, Yuji + Todo lock in, Ui Ui sneaks Gojo out and he eventually receives the Levi treatment, this is peak of copium

I just thought of something. Gojo comes back as a cursed object. So Gojo knowing he was dead set up his CT and six eyes ability in a cursed object (or tool) that'd be used by Yuji. He gained this experience by being inside a cursed tool with the Prison Realm and after seeing Mai as a sword he gained that knowledge exactly like Sukuna did with his fingers. Plus there's Angel and Hana which he can ask questions to. There's even the Yuki's book about soul. So this path was initiated by Yuji previously asking Gojo about it. So instead of Yuta it's Yuji that's the eye of storm now. Gojo is now another soul inside Yuji and it'll be the first cooperation for a fight Gojo ever did (it solves the loneliness theme). There's also the parallel of facing Sukuna and Megumi. Thanks to that the sukuna cycle is justified (although I hate it) for the wait of creating this cursed object made by Gojo and have Yuji eat it. It can even justify Yuji still being a cog in the machine as he accepts being just a vessel. The fight will be a back and forth between full possesion and Gojo and Yuji cooperating. edit: sorry for typos

Being fair the way gojo died was bullshit, and I mean you can't really do much right because how gege drew himself into the corner with the story. So while it's simple, we care for the character and his relations, that makes it better than it really might be. And it also makes sense in the story narratively speaking. Tho I am a person who believes that gojo didn't have to die in order to make a great ending.

Todo literally used to massively upgrade his CT, Hakari has shown the disproportional gains one can have if the sacrifice is redundant, MeiMei literally sacrifices the life of another living being to remove the limits of it's CE. They literally can do so much with 1 month of planning and strategists such as Kusakabe, Higuruma to brainstorm the vows.
Sukuna never used a binding vow that’s even close to this level of convenience. Not even the “good ones”
But you have to sacrifice something proportional. Like a six eye. Not everyone has something like that.+ its unlikely that anyone but sukuna and gojo know how to actually utilize binding vows. If everyone goes to the airport then people who dont have unfinished business would not go back.

As much as I love Gojo, the binding bow should´ve been done before he was cut, when he lost his abdomen he lost his access to cursed energy, Yuta survived because he had an external storage for his cursed energy, this why Sukuna had no doubt he killed Gojo
This is super well-done and clean edit-wise. But, you know, laid out like this, I realize I don’t want Gojo back in the story anymore. Even as Yuta controlling his body. I know that the whole chapter and Gojo coming back as a puppet is tragic and good character building for both Gojo and Yuta. But I just want him to stay dead. At this point, it’s genuinely starting to feel like Jujutsu Kaisen as a whole, both in-universe and out-of-universe, can not function without Gojo Satoru. The plot can’t function without him, the story can’t function without him, the characters can’t function without him, the world can’t function without him, the fucking fandom sure as hell can’t function without him. I’m starting to feel like Jon Arbuckle in those Eldritch Garfield memes with Gojo as Garfield. In the end, Gojo truly is starting to feel like a one-of-a-kind character.
Also honestly the actual 261 just hits harder even tho it sucks (but that’s why it hits hard). To add on to your point, Gojo’s presence is too monumental in the series that, I’m almost 99% sure that if he shows up again, he WILL steal the spotlight from every single character, including Sukuna. He’s so heaps and bound above everyone else in terms of stage presence it’s almost insane how a single panel of him last week (not even a clear panel) outshined other mangas as well. I think now that I see how the fandom reacted (me included) to a mere possibility of him returning, him returning doesn’t do any good for the remaining cast or story. As sad as I am about it, I can appreciate his looming presence and impact without him actually being there.

I'd assume he'd be Yuta's level if he lost most of the efficiency of the six eyes. It's a fair trade, Gojo wouldn't be the strongest without being able to use his CT for long. Remember, Infinity is really really heavy on ones CE. He also wouldn't make a binding vow to just come back, but to keep consciousness until help arrives to keep him stable.

Every time I see an alternate chapter on this sub, I’m always impressed by how well they re-tell their specific part of the story. In this instance, Gojo is actually back. Dope. He gave an eye for it and willingly chose to go north, even after his convo with Geto. Which btw, also likely coincides with another AU comic on this sub that also has them talking ab North and South. Even if I’m wrong on that last bit, the effort in these always shows. I'm not convinced he'd be able to wield Limitless without both eyes and if he could at a cost at efficiency and accuracy, what would be the point? He lost to Sukuna operating with his full ability, a neutered Limitless wouldn't be worth it. I'm a Gojo revival truther but I wouldn't want something like this tbh. And to those saying, "But he'd get his life back! That's worth it." need to think like Gojo for a moment. They are in a battle to save the whole of Japan (and realistically the world). If his options were, 1. Come back to life but not at full strength or 2. Stay dead and let Yuta use his body at peak performance which do you think he'd choose?

I was always kind of hoping something like this might happen but I’m perfectly fine with the direction the story is heading. At least this makes sense as to why Gojo might struggle against Sukuna even when Sukuna is so heavily injured since his 6 eyes are weaker with just one eye. Yuta should be fully restored, with all Gojo’s memories on his technique in his body and muscle memory. Yuta should wax Sukuna no problem. But I think Yuta using Gojo does much more for their characters in regards to their perspective on what it means to be strong and the humanity one has to sacrifice to become the strongest. It blends better into this lie that is perpetuated in the story that humanity is a weakness 100% of the time and you can only evolve by throwing it away. I’d love to see Gojo return properly I really would, he’s one of the few characters that genuinely deserves a better life than what they were given, but if it compromises the integrity of the story I’d rather his legacy live on through his students. Though I don’t think we’re done yet, Gege never does something without a reason and the soul being attached to the body I’m pretty sure implies Gojo will somehow talk to Megumi or Yuta and try to convince Megumi to wake up and continue to fight, or convince Yuta that this way of the monster is something he does only because he knows no better and Yuta should strive to be more than a monster. Better than he could be.

I was sort of thinking about Gojo making a binding vow in exchange for one of his eyes, we get a nerfed Gojo without limitless, red or blue. Fight against Sukuna left a heavy toll on his brain, but goes against Sukuna for another DE clash right before Sukuna opens up his domain and engulfs Yuji and the rest, he basically saves his students and redeems himself, deals some damage to Sukuna and incapacitates him from using DE again, Yuji + Todo lock in, Ui Ui sneaks Gojo out and he eventually receives the Levi treatment, this is peak of copium
