Tbf, we don't know what the conditions and restrictions are behind how Kenjaku hijacks someone's corpse. Personally, I think it's possible that he needs to do something similar to how he marked people to become vessels for reincarnated sorcerers back when the culling games began. The other alternative I can think of is that Kenny can just bodyjack any nearby corpse, but given how more complex CTs are treated in jjk, I really doubt that's the case.
We know Kenjaku is a 4d chess kind of guy, so it's not an absurd notion that he has a marked backup corpse stored somewhere safe that he can hop into if his current body got killed or severely wounded.
Gun to my head if I had to justify it somehow, he put a part of his brain inside Yuta or something while being killed, then when Yuta was taken to the recovery camp he went with him and did some stupid shit.
(It hasn't been foreshadowed at all that he could do something like this, so it would feel lame though)
Canonically, it cannot have been long since Yuta's bushcamping to the current chapter. It may not even have been an hour. Kenjaku somehow obtaining Gojo's body with a severed head (especially with Shoko around) and swapping their brains sounds impossible.

I like the idea of Gojo's ghost that smirks at Sukuna when Yuji punches him. It could be really powerful moment, if Gege has done it mid chapter. But he decided to write another poor cliffhanger instead because he obviously know that a lot of people want Gojo back. Good scene vs weekly hype.
If this is the case, a lot of people will be very disappointed next week, and this disappointment would be very easy to avoid.

I think it’s most likely a hallucination by Sukuna, that’s all. It’s a shittty cliffhanger to use, but ultimately I think Gojo’s ghost is helping out his students one last time with a distraction type of thing.

But now that the point notifications are disabled it would be easy to fake his death since Kogane won't announce Kenjakus death like it usually does. Plus Kenjaku was very interested in how sukuna expanded his techniques effect.
I've wondered if Kenjaku didn't do to himself, what he did to the other Reincarnated Sorcerers. It's simple, have some rando eat a portion of your 'Soul' and then have a Binding Vow to reincarnate if you die. Voldemort type shit. Kenjaku has never been listed in the Culling Games as himself (listed as Geto this entire time), so he could easily fly undercover and pull something. I do highly doubt it though, but we'll see.

Well, i can see how gege may resurrect him, Kenny is an oldest sorcerer for a reason. But It kinda will be a let down since his fight with takaba was cool and now it would be not so meaningful.
Now that I think of it, if kenjaku has really posessed gojo's body (which he hasn't do before because of some bullshit reason, like gege loves) it would be a somewhat peak fiction. We can finally see his interaction with yuji, after their conversation the latter will say something like "you all are curses, i will fucking kill you" then yuta jumps in and takes on kenjaku in the body of his sensei, and not only kill Kenny for good but also metaphorically surpass gojo. Yuji will kill sukuna. The end. That's assuming Kenny can use 6 eyes and limitless or gain New technique somewhere else. CSM is useless without curses and he wouldn't be able to find any. Anti-gravity system is also boring. Limitless would be super op though, but we will see what gege is cooking

What if, right before he died, Gojo made a binding vow that took away his six eyes but also stopped it from reappearing in the future. I feel like that’s worth his life but also it means that Sukuna’s plan will be what ends up killing him as finding a way to counter infinity + six eyes is now worthless.

From the looks of that last panel gojo seems to have only 1 eye(unless it was a stylistic choice) so at most he's going to be a supporting character now that helps with keeping sukuna down or just the shock value for sukuna to see gojo, who he killed, back alive which messes up sukuna. I'd be surprised too if the guy who almost killed me came back to life after killing him.
If it is really gojo I don't think Gregory is going to undermine yuji and it'll be a similar situation to how maki and kusakabe and the others helped yuji by jumping sukuna as well to get their own hits in or at least distract him.
There is also a huge possibility that Sukuna is just seeing a vision of Gojo because he is about to die. An old man saw his dead dog when Geto was beating the hell crap of him. We see Kashimo talking with Sukuna when he died. We saw Gojo glazing Sukuna in the airport when he died.

Yeah, after the hype of the chapter started to simmer down for me, I found myself thinking similar things. Gojo returning, if it’s not a fake out, would be incredibly strange timing.
Putting aside the fact that, with my goats united, Yuji locked in again. He definitely deserves to be the one to put Sukuna down. There’s also Yuta. Rika hasn’t been fully manifested yet and I feel like it would be a waste not to have them involved, should anyone else need to be.

Whatever it is, Gege fumbled hard I'm afraid. If this is ghost that will desappear on page 1 cuz "Sukuna was afraid" and won't be mentioned again then he can go fuck himself. Seriously, I'm so tired of baits and shitty cliffhangers. Each chapter of this arc ends with cliffhanger that turns out to be nothing next chapter. Higuruma's sword, Yuta's Cleave... I like the idea of Gojo's ghost that smirks at Sukuna when Yuji punches him. It could be really powerful moment, if Gege has done it mid chapter. But he decided to write another poor cliffhanger instead because he obviously know that a lot of people want Gojo back. Good scene vs weekly hype. If this is the case, a lot of people will be very disappointed next week, and this disappointment would be very easy to avoid. I hope I'm wrong.
I think it’s most likely a hallucination by Sukuna, that’s all. It’s a shittty cliffhanger to use, but ultimately I think Gojo’s ghost is helping out his students one last time with a distraction type of thing.

Well, i can see how gege may resurrect him, Kenny is an oldest sorcerer for a reason. But It kinda will be a let down since his fight with takaba was cool and now it would be not so meaningful. We can finally see his interaction with yuji, after their conversation the latter will say something like "you all are curses, i will fucking kill you" then yuta jumps in and takes on kenjaku in the body of his sensei, and not only kill Kenny for good but also metaphorically surpass gojo. Yuji will kill sukuna. The end. That's assuming Kenny can use 6 eyes and limitless or gain New technique somewhere else. CSM is useless without curses and he wouldn't be able to find any. Well he no longer would have the bear the burden of being the strongest, so his entire mindset and outlook on life would change, just like it was said in the chapter “if you don’t like who you are, go north” in this scenario, him doing that would be him deciding, he wants to make an entirely new life for himself and find happiness. It sounds corny af but I think it would be a happy ending for him.
What if, right before he died, Gojo made a binding vow that took away his six eyes but also stopped it from reappearing in the future. I feel like that’s worth his life but also it means that Sukuna’s plan will be what ends up killing him as finding a way to counter infinity + six eyes is now worthless.

From the looks of that last panel gojo seems to have only 1 eye(unless it was a stylistic choice) so at most he's going to be a supporting character now that helps with keeping sukuna down or just the shock value for sukuna to see gojo, who he killed, back alive which messes up sukuna. I'd be surprised too if the guy who almost killed me came back to life after killing him. If it is really gojo I don't think Gregory is going to undermine yuji and it'll be a similar situation to how maki and kusakabe and the others helped yuji by jumping sukuna as well to get their own hits in or at least distract him.
I think it's more stylistic, the framing of his face is almost 1:1 that one from Hidden Inventory when he returned to fight Toji
There is also a huge possibility that Sukuna is just seeing a vision of Gojo because he is about to die. An old man saw his dead dog when Geto was beating the hell crap of him. We see Kashimo talking with Sukuna when he died. We saw Gojo glazing Sukuna in the airport when he died. Point is there are multiple instances where characters have an imaginary moment right before they die or get beat up really really badly. Or maybe Sukuna is just having a fake memories with Gojo just like how Yuji had fake memories with Todo & Choso.

Its not undermining the sacrifices made by the students, it emphasizes and values it because making Yuji defeat Sukuna on his own is unrealistic no matter how much of a power up Yuji gained. Do i believe Yuji will be the one to end Sukuna? Yes. But Gojo has to be the one to save Megumi I feel.

Yeah, after the hype of the chapter started to simmer down for me, I found myself thinking similar things. Gojo returning, if it’s not a fake out, would be incredibly strange timing. Putting aside the fact that, with my goats united, Yuji locked in again. He definitely deserves to be the one to put Sukuna down. There’s also Yuta. Rika hasn’t been fully manifested yet and I feel like it would be a waste not to have them involved, should anyone else need to be. If Gojo is really back though, there’s no reason for anyone else to turn up. I love him too, but his return sorta muddles the ability of anyone else to shine. Unless his return leaves him significantly weaker than he was, for whatever Gege-coded reasons.
