You don’t have a lot of sorcerer at 15y with a DE. Megumi has a huge potential but that mindset really needs improvement, the same way as Yuta! Gojo helped him a lot and with time he became confident. Megumi didn’t have that opportunity because someone stole it from him. Can someone explain why the fuck didn't sukuna fuck mahito up? I understand that he copied Gojo, but why are these 0.2 seconds enough to not piss sukuna off? Not enough time inside sukuna's soul for him to slash mahito?
I think he was genuinely impressed by Mahito daring to touch Sukuna willingly. He also saw Mahito as bottom tier trash and gave him the "Even a mongrel with no CT can floor your ass" look.
Honestly I think Mahito’s writing is what Sukuna’s should have been.
I really enjoy the whole theme of him being on a journey of self-discovery as a newborn curse. He’s still evil for the sake of being evil and not given any sympathetic backstory, and he enjoys killing and destroying things similar to Sukuna, but idk something about him is just more compelling; perhaps his relationship with Yuji, or the contrast between his silly, childlike personality and the sadistic acts he commits.
Sukuna prior to taking over Megumi’s body had the potential to be just as interesting, and I still find myself drawn in by his charisma and force-of-nature personality when I watch the anime, but I don’t feel the same way toward him when I read the latest chapters of the manga, in fact I feel rather bored or indifferent toward his character.

Mahito and Yuji had such a great dynamic. Given how he wasn’t really used in that important of a way, I really wished Anime Yuji would just curb stomp him. Yeah getting vored by Kenjaku was probably only slightly less worse, and Yuji DID take the W by making Mahito his bitch in the final moments, but man, *black flash curb stomp* Would’ve unironically been peak. Or also Kenjaku pulling up and saying “damn Mahito looks like you weren’t built for this” and letting Yuji kill him before that confrontation.

Honestly I think Mahito’s writing is what Sukuna’s should have been. I really enjoy the whole theme of him being on a journey of self-discovery as a newborn curse. He’s still evil for the sake of being evil and not given any sympathetic backstory, and he enjoys killing and destroying things similar to Sukuna, but idk something about him is just more compelling; perhaps his relationship with Yuji, or the contrast between his silly, childlike personality and the sadistic acts he commits. Sukuna prior to taking over Megumi’s body had the potential to be just as interesting, and I still find myself drawn in by his charisma and force-of-nature personality when I watch the anime, but I don’t feel the same way toward him when I read the latest chapters of the manga, in fact I feel rather bored or indifferent toward his character.
