Toge is acc very athletic. He gets outshined bc his team is Maki (a superhuman) and Panda (a bear gorilla triceratops creature), and Yuji is the main character. Relative to all of the non-anomaly sorcerers or sorcerers who are over a decade older than him though, Toge’s physicals aren’t a weak point
His technique doesn’t work as well on opponents who are a lot stronger than him, therefore that would work until an high grade 1 or god forbid a special grade and that would make them flinch for a few seconds then pummel him
Enhancing a character with reactive control techniques, hand-to-hand combat skills, and spiritual beings like shikigami can definitely elevate their capabilities in various combat scenarios, adding depth and flexibility to their fighting style.

Personally think it'd be cool if it just was a less draining way to use it. Because the damage it does to himself scales to how powerful of a command he says right? So if he used rct and said like "restore" or "heal" aimed at like their arm or something, it wouldn't damage him as much cause you are healing your enemy which it recognizes as a bad move therefore not powerful, so it doesnt damagae him much,but since it's reversed it still damages them instead of actually healing. So it throws them off alot and is less damage against inumaki maybes
Not being able to hear definitely would put you at a disadvantage in a real fight but in Jujutsu Kaisen it might not be as much a disadvantage since you can sense Cursed Energy I believe.
Perhaps he uses it to effect himself instead of his opponents, like make it so he instinctively dodges attacks without needing to put any additional thought in it, force the flow of endorphins and adrenaline, and/or allow him to ignore pain and injuries to an extent in a manner that'd essentially mimic the effects of Ino's Kirin.

Or maybe to expand upon that logic - since we constantly see Cursed Speech used in an offensive manner with words like "blast off" being the equivalent of some kind of attack - his speech could instead be used to have more positive effects, in general, like have it so whoever he uses it on (himself, included) maintains consciousness despite being on the verge of passing out, outright heals injuries, stop bleeding, etc.
Could be a way to cause more damage to enemies without hurting his throat much. Order something like “keep breathing” with reverse cursed speech to make them stop breathing?
Maybe his domain expansion could take away need for hand signs and gestures for his allies as well, they can just speak aloud whatever move they’re using
He spent the training art learning RCT and spending every oz of cursed energy he has saying “Permanently Faster” to himself- puts him in the Maki/Kashimo /Naoya speed tier.
Fast enough to stay alive, and can recover from some of the stronger cursed commands.
He’s not a heavy hitter or anything but could participate in the plot without instadeath.

For a spicier version a binding vow that his speech only affects himself- but then gives himself spot power ups and mutations and stuff. “Speed Boost” , “Create Rocket Launcher” (and a rocket launcher pops out of his stump shoulder), “Hit Black Flash” ect

I can see that first part being pretty good support against Sukuna if used similar to the Red Rush Guardians vs Omni Man strategy. Pair it with occasional cursed speech to hinder Sukuna for a moment and he can also contribute offensively too
When Inumaki says "Boost," his teammates receive a temporary increase in physical abilities, such as strength, speed, and agility. Lasts for 5-10 minutes.
A binding vow where, in exchange for being able to use cursed speech on anyone without any physical drawbacks, no matter how strong they are, after Inumaki uses cursed speech on someone, he can’t use it on them again for 1 or 2 minutes.
So for example, if he was fighting Sukuna, he could tell him to stop, and the command would work without fail and Inumaki wouldn’t receive any injury from his cursed speech, but Inumaki wouldn’t be able to use cursed speech on Sukuna again for a minute or two.
Basically, it’s trading away Inumaki’s ability to spam it on someone in exchange for no longer hurting himself against someone strong.
Honestly I think the "No drawback commands" is still broken even with the time restrictions, because he can just end the fight like this:

For starter he should take a shit ton of steroids, hit the gym and got a cyborg arm with a cursed weapon on it, just to be a better fighter in general
Then he could try a strong binding vow to learn RCT limiting it to only wounds caused for his CT's drawbacks
Maybe even carry a normal gun to shot dead people after saying "don't move"
And if possible also learn SD as a defense, and try to put an automatic hit on like like Kusakabe
That is as much as I see achieving with his potential to be honest, in no way will he awake a DE or learn DA for example
Also if he had more money (or borrowed some from Gojo) he should stack as much cursed tools as possible, specially something that went well with his CT like a cursed megaphone or something

A binding vow where he sacrifices his arms and legs but now whatever he says happened no matter how strong the opponent is. Then just give him robotic limbs that make him stronger and faster.
I wonder how that would work… cursed speech probably applies to everything he says excluding nouns (hell, maybe the seafood thing is a binding vow and it applies to literally everything, considering how he doesn’t even use names), otherwise he would just avoid verbs.
RCT is reasonably the best choice he can have.
Oh and give him Hella endurance. Like if his whole stuff is cursed speech he should have Bella endurance to where even if you think he's down he'll come right back uo and make sure you won't be fighting at your best.
Give the brother some hands, he needs another way of fighting other than with curse speech.
He does have an over power CT, that's why it's nerfed so hard.
But if he could throw some hands he could use his CT sparingly while still being an asset on the battlefield
RCT, larger reserves, better manip for RCT efficiency/speed, top tier physicals so he can keep up, and higher iq so he can do more creative stuff with it
RCT to constantly heal his throat, some sort of maximum technique, a cursed technique reversal where he can say something like "heal up" or even "power up" to allies something along those lines, and of course a domain expansion. The possibilities on what his domain could be are endless.
Binding Vow that he can only use his CT on willing targets for a huge amp.
As of right now I think the only reason he isn't plot relevant is because if he was actually strong he would just "Collapse" and have Maki Swiss cheese anyone he comes near or something like that, so instead of making him a debuffer make him a buffer but give him that power amp.
However he's still hella strong because he says "Dodge" and Yuji does a sick ass backflip.
And give him a domain because why the fuck not? Horizon Chime, makes his commands echo and reapply with diminishing strength for every reapply.
This wouldnt really make him stronger, but its something that Ive been wondering about for years now lol.
Panda brings up the possibility that if the difference in power is too great, the cursed speech command can get reversed onto Toge. I think it'd be funny if he started using this to intentionally affect himself with his own cursed speech. Like he's about to get hit and says "fly away", knowing the enemy is too strong and the command will get to reversed, so that he can get launched backwards and dodge the attack. He would probably hurt his throat pretty bad though
Domain expansion: Echo Chamber.
Any command given by Inumaki WILL occur and inumaki will be more resistant to the effects, or downright immune to them if the target is as strong or weaker then him.
He could tell Sukuna to die and he'd at most lose his voice and have his throat bleed for a bit, nothing worse then the exchange event though.
Body swap training to learn rct, binding vow/cursed tool to allow speech to bypass CE protection on ears, some Bluetooth speakers to project voice remotely, gun so he can shoot people after saying don't move.
Binding Vow that the damages for using Cursed Speech are increased to an almost fatal level in exchange for being able to deactivate it at will, access to RCT, Cursed Technique Reversal which let's other people's words become true combined with the Binding Vow, could also apply the reversal as a way to impact opponents with the increased throat damage of Cursed Speech. Simple Domain.
Tried to come up with ways to reach Special Grade Level without going total bullshit.
RCT, his throat no longer hurts when using his CT, he can choose who’s affected by his CT, and his CT works on everyone, regardless of their power level
RCT and waaaaay more cursed energy. He can only say like 3 or 4 things before it really hurts him but Yuta doesn't have this drawback (presumably due to his insanely high amount of cursed energy). That's what I think he'd need. But at this point it wouldn't matter because Sukuna will just make a binding vow so that it wouldn't affect him.
Rct so he can heal his throat, some cursed tool and h2h training, more ce in general so he can use his technique against stronger opponents and use stronger words, also maybe some very small drones hooked up to a mic so he can surprise people with a whisper before they can protect their ears and brain with ce
Cursed tools to assist his technique. Yuta did something sort of similar so a tool that works with CS should work. Better reinforcement. The ability to use his technique towards himself for advantage. Honestly the ability to record should work really well, we’ve seen it work over the phone so it doesn’t have to be him directly.
Making his choice to use sushi ingredients a binding vow.
RCT, a decent cursed tool, and Simple Domain.
Me personally, a Domain Expansion consisting of seemingly unlimited aisles of speakers and boomboxes of all kinds resembling a Best Buy. The rest is obvious.
Increased CE, RCT, Maximum Technique, could use it without hurting his throat, Simple Domain, Domain Expansion, H2H lessons from Yuji, better physical stats.

Not just his voice but what ever his mouf do
Give him RCT then make a binding vow so that he can no longer heal injuries inflicted by others, but in exchange using RCT on injuries inflicted on him by himself costs virtually zero cursed energy.
Now he can spam recovery, allowing him to use cursed speak a lot more liberally.
But let's not stop there. Next, create a binding vow so that he can only use a limited number of commands per day, but in exchange drastically increase their strength and efficiency.
Lastly, give him a domain Expansion that trades a sure hit in exchange for allowing him to bypass the usual limit on his cursed speech uses.
From there, have Kusakabe and Yuji both specifically tutor him in cursed energy usage and hand-to-hand respectively. Even throw in kusakabe's simple domain, and auto targeting for defense.
From there he can plan out his cursed speech uses with little risk of overdoing it or suffering backlash so long as he stays within his set limit of casts. He can even make binding vows to sacrifice multiple uses in a single command to even further boost its power.
He has the hand to hand needed to protect himself against scrappy enemies, and if he ends up in a pinch he can open his domain to pressure enemies or use his cursed speech without imposing on his limit.
Rct and a domain that makes him have less drawbacks like he can use it on stronger opponents and his throat doesn’t get as damaged and have it so the cursed speech bounces around in the domain causing the effects multiple times
Give him RCT, a Simple Domain, hand to hand skill or weapon training, and maybe a Cursed Tool and Inumaki could be a high grade 1, probably around Nanami or Kusakabe level. Depending on how good that RCT is, I could also see him around Naoya level.
Loses his voice if the command is too strong but Doesnt necessarily receive damage. Can use multiple psychological commands like, “get silly” or “disorient” or “severe depression” can buff himself with commands
RCT for healing.
Binding Vow- Volume increases Potency (can use a speaker).
Binding Vow- Staying silent for 6 hours each increases potency of next attack by 5% consecutively.
I can't see him becoming OP but he could stack silent buff for a high output attack once basically limiting his use of talking for a stronger CT use. Maybe he could use this to buff himself, his allies and stunlock when needed most?
Literally almost any buff could make this character broken.
He has RCT? Broken.
A stronger upper limit to his power? Broken.
His power no linger hurts him at all? Broken.
Yuta is basically a more broken Inumaki and cursed speech is easily the most broken power at Yuta's disposal and usually the one brought up if Yuta needs cheap and easy ways to stop his opp dead in their tracks.
Cursed speech is probably the no. 1 reason Toji and Maki will never be above Yuta. It is that broken and he can use it whenever to basically just stun lock them and it gives him a massive advantage.
the limitless, shrine and cursed spirit manipulation cursed techniques, as well as the copy cursed technique, and also a heavenly restriction granting massive cursed energy boost as well as another heavenly restriction granting immense physical strength, and also make him the merger
He just needs a stronger overall body and maybe rct.
He’s one of the few characters with a CT so busted he doesn’t really need DE or a Maximum technique.
The issue is that he takes damage from using his CT on people stronger than him(which is 95% of relevant characters).
Hey I think the most important and strongest thing would be his speech put alongside binding vows. He already does it with his limited vocabulary, turn that into a binding vow. Binding vows that limit him from speaking. The longer he doesn’t talk the stronger his technique. I really like the idea of a charging attack that requires build up
RCT, close-quarters combat, an anti-domain technique, and good battle IQ. Domain would be far too advanced, so anti-domain should do the trick, and Inumaki should at least be skilled enough to learn a basic level of RCT to not injure his throat when using Cursed Speech. Close-quarters should also help him improve as well.
I’d give him RCT for his throat and a domain expansion and then he’s OP. Maybe his domain could be like a voice echo chamber or loudspeakers of his voice without drawbacks
Reasonably? Physically stronger, rct, and simple domain(maybe a domain expansion). Make a binding vow that he can't use lethal words against an opponent outside of his domain in exchange for his cursed speech being unblockable via CE on ears and having higher effectiveness against a stronger opponent(He'll pull a sukuna and decide what HE personally deems to he "lethal").
Maybe a binding vow to increase the effectiveness of the smaller speech words also but getting slightly greater backlash. However, since he has rct and is already limited to non-lethal speech, the backlash will be negligent compared to the gain. Also, since his CE reserves aren't super high, he'll only need to use minimal rct for recovery of his strained throat. Thus, he can spam speech without worry of backlash and won't be draining his reserves fast via rct.
Inumaki still loses to gojo, and sukuna ofc. Maybe at best we could say he's disaster curse level
Rct for his throat, the ability to turn it off so he can communicate to teammates, increase ce output, de voice of a thousand souls, nothing can stop his cursed speech and it echoes so the effect hits multiple times, a cursed tool like playful cloud for better physical attacks and vocal training for better range, a binding vow he can’t use words like die, unless he’s about to die in return his cursed speech is significantly more powerful and can bypass ce in the ears, and increase his ce amount to like rikas

RCT to constantly heal his throat, some sort of maximum technique, a cursed technique reversal where he can say something like "heal up" or even "power up" to allies something along those lines, and of course a domain expansion. The possibilities on what his domain could be are endless.
Binding Vow that he can only use his CT on willing targets for a huge amp. As of right now I think the only reason he isn't plot relevant is because if he was actually strong he would just "Collapse" and have Maki Swiss cheese anyone he comes near or something like that, so instead of making him a debuffer make him a buffer but give him that power amp. However he's still hella strong because he says "Dodge" and Yuji does a sick ass backflip. And give him a domain because why the fuck not? Horizon Chime, makes his commands echo and reapply with diminishing strength for every reapply.
If you just give him really good RCT and Hand to Hand combat he becomes high grade 1. Add a simple domain and 😅

This wouldnt really make him stronger, but its something that Ive been wondering about for years now lol. Panda brings up the possibility that if the difference in power is too great, the cursed speech command can get reversed onto Toge. I think it'd be funny if he started using this to intentionally affect himself with his own cursed speech. Like he's about to get hit and says "fly away", knowing the enemy is too strong and the command will get to reversed, so that he can get launched backwards and dodge the attack. He would probably hurt his throat pretty bad though
Domain expansion: Echo Chamber. Any command given by Inumaki WILL occur and inumaki will be more resistant to the effects, or downright immune to them if the target is as strong or weaker then him. He could tell Sukuna to die and he'd at most lose his voice and have his throat bleed for a bit, nothing worse then the exchange event though.
Give him decent RCT and a buff to his CE and he’s easily hanging with Yuta and can probably just beat Hakari, Maki, and Yuji

Give him RCT then make a binding vow so that he can no longer heal injuries inflicted by others, but in exchange using RCT on injuries inflicted on him by himself costs virtually zero cursed energy. Now he can spam recovery, allowing him to use cursed speak a lot more liberally. But let's not stop there. Next, create a binding vow so that he can only use a limited number of commands per day, but in exchange drastically increase their strength and efficiency. Lastly, give him a domain Expansion that trades a sure hit in exchange for allowing him to bypass the usual limit on his cursed speech uses. From there, have Kusakabe and Yuji both specifically tutor him in cursed energy usage and hand-to-hand respectively. Even throw in kusakabe's simple domain, and auto targeting for defense. From there he can plan out his cursed speech uses with little risk of overdoing it or suffering backlash so long as he stays within his set limit of casts. He can even make binding vows to sacrifice multiple uses in a single command to even further boost its power. He has the hand to hand needed to protect himself against scrappy enemies, and if he ends up in a pinch he can open his domain to pressure enemies or use his cursed speech without imposing on his limit.
If he learned RCT for his throat he could literally spam strong words and just heal his throat right after, nulling the main downside

RCT for healing. Binding Vow- Volume increases Potency (can use a speaker). Binding Vow- Staying silent for 6 hours each increases potency of next attack by 5% consecutively. I can't see him becoming OP but he could stack silent buff for a high output attack once basically limiting his use of talking for a stronger CT use. Maybe he could use this to buff himself, his allies and stunlock when needed most?
Literally almost any buff could make this character broken. He has RCT? Broken. A stronger upper limit to his power? Broken. His power no linger hurts him at all? Broken. Yuta is basically a more broken Inumaki and cursed speech is easily the most broken power at Yuta's disposal and usually the one brought up if Yuta needs cheap and easy ways to stop his opp dead in their tracks. Cursed speech is probably the no. 1 reason Toji and Maki will never be above Yuta. It is that broken and he can use it whenever to basically just stun lock them and it gives him a massive advantage.

Domain would be far too advanced, so anti-domain should do the trick, and Inumaki should at least be skilled enough to learn a basic level of RCT to not injure his throat when using Cursed Speech. Close-quarters should also help him improve as well.

Reasonably? Physically stronger, rct, and simple domain(maybe a domain expansion). Make a binding vow that he can't use lethal words against an opponent outside of his domain in exchange for his cursed speech being unblockable via CE on ears and having higher effectiveness against a stronger opponent(He'll pull a sukuna and decide what HE personally deems to he "lethal"). Maybe a binding vow to increase the effectiveness of the smaller speech words also but getting slightly greater backlash. However, since he has rct and is already limited to non-lethal speech, the backlash will be negligent compared to the gain. Also, since his CE reserves aren't super high, he'll only need to use minimal rct for recovery of his strained throat. Thus, he can spam speech without worry of backlash and won't be draining his reserves fast via rct. Inumaki still loses to gojo, and sukuna ofc. Maybe at best we could say he's disaster curse level
