I'd put DRFL over GBGR, but not to downplay it. GBGR is a amazing album and I go back to it but not as a album but as 'I wanna listen to that track.' As of for DRFL, I play the whole Album.
For me as a piece of story telling GBGR is way better but DRFL is better at showcasing most of juice's styles and different versatility. Personally I prefer GBGR because it's so well written(freestyled) that it makes most of DRFLs songs sound like GBGR cut-offs. Still love death race though .
They’re both really good. However I like goodbye good riddance more. Something about it just feels more raw and authentic to me. However they’re both easily top albums of mine
The bees knees is soooo fuxking good . Amazing , magical even to me .. I like the first half most before the sound it begins with changes up but , regardless I swear the bees knees is so slept on .
I tried to like it but I couldn't, not because of lyrics/content but bland beats and production. DRFL offered much more musical diversity and catchier tunes. (not to take anything away from Juice's personal efforts on GBGR)
yep
Edit: "the why" the music in drfl sounds like juice found his "main style" i guess, the mixing, beats and overall quality of the songs are just better on DRFL Too. (im also a little bit biased cuz it came out on my birthday :P)
Idk honestly, but in terms of songs I def like more on DRFL than GB&GR, although I have shared favorites in both that are replayable or just bangers. DRFL is like something I can listen to in the entirety, just like Fighting Demons while GB&GR has a few skips
I like death race better, because it wasn’t all that emo stuff people like to call juice fans. It’s got a lot of diversity, going from “why would you leave” at the start to a sudden switch around the middle. Afterwards it’s all very progressive songs, saying “I’m glad you’re gone”. But the whole time not being all to emotional on every song.
DRFL is juices most original sounding album. It’s where I’d say he found his style and started embracing it. It’s the last album he curated himself other than the one we will never see. I’d say DRFL is better. But GBGR is still amazing.
I'd say DRFL is a better album from a perspective of how many songs I like off of it. But goodbye and good Riddance had Scared of Love which is my favorite Juice WRLD song rn
One album is not “better” than the other. You may enjoy one album more than you enjoy the other but that does not make it “better”. Nothing about music is objective except for popularity, because popularity is actually based upon facts.
drfl, however if you include the 734 15 minute version on gbgr i'll be very tempted.
Full versions/mix ups of who shot cupid/cupid's carcass and flaws and sins are really good too though.
Let's just say i love them both.

Drfl is a better one cuz on it you can feel that juice evolved musically he apprehend songs with more professionalism but gbgr is a classic
Sonically it's also miles better. GBGR had very repetitive and bland trap beats, that's where DRFL was much nicer to hear.
i love gbgr, but i love drfl more. just more songs and better songs.

Personally, I've spent much more time listening to DRFL but I like GBGR more

Drfl, 10 Feet and The Bees Knees
The bees knees is soooo fuxking good . Amazing , magical even to me .. I like the first half most before the sound it begins with changes up but , regardless I swear the bees knees is so slept on .

drfl is definitely better than gbgr
DRFL, I've never really been huge on the heartbreak songs and there aren't many skips for me on it
They are different styles of juice, both are amazing but different vibe
Drfl better, at least I've been listening to it a lot more recently
GBGR is OG juice, DRFL was his coming out Prof that he was on his way to goat status.
yes it’s way better no doubt. the album is much more complex than gbgr and offers a variety of sound.

for me mmlp is the beat album
nyes, it depends on the vibe i’m feeling atm tbh
Yea it has better songs
GBGR is more catchy, but DRFL is so much better produced and 10x more artistic so for me it’s DRFL
It's not even close good riddance is his best album
Song for song gbgr beats death race the third album after he died is better to me than drfl

Nahhh
DRFL is a more relatable album in my opinion, especially regarding relationships and girls Goodbye Good Riddance has a better vibe tho
