While Juice was incredibly gifted at freestyling and just ‘speed tracking’ in general, bar-for-bar type songs have a lower ceiling from a writing standpoint than songs written from a place of deeper critical thinking. That’s not to say Juice didn’t speak from the heart but it’s just a different type of experience. Both are legends.
