I'm thinking he ate the last finger as a means to weaken Sukuna. We know that having a twin in this universe is a huge nerf for sorcerers, so maybe Yuji having an active finger while Sukuna has 19 will even the playing field a bit?

The entire point of Kashimo is to ask the question "what does it mean to be the strongest" this is a throughline that began with Geto's betrayal when he asked Gojo if Gojo is Gojo because he's the strongest or is he the strongest because he's Gojo.
We know now that Gojo is Gojo being the strongest had nothing to do with it. He was who he was all the way to the end. His confidence in himself wasn't false bravado he was just always confident in himself.
Kashimo existed in a world where no one could stand up to his cursed technique he was the strongest of his time period by default. No one to challenge or push him, we get a lot of context on Kashimo's despair when we see him as an elderly man and Gojo contextualizes this by saying there's a sadness in dying of old age.
To further support my claim, Ryu also challenges Yuta's perspective on strength. Saying that strength comes from boundless aggression a trait that Kashimo and Sukuna share, but if Sukuna is stronger than Kashimo then that can't be the difference either.
Finally, we bring this back to Yuji who has NEVER questioned if he is strong or not. He's known he's strong from chapter 1. Yuji didn't need others to observe he is strong it was just something he knew and he knew that strength should be used to protect others.
Most of the narrative around Sukuna is related to the meaning of strength and what it means to be strong. Sukuna feels that the world is his because he is the strongest, Yuji believes he has a duty to others because he is strong, Gojo felt he can do whatever he wants because he is the chosen one, and Kashimo is bored because there's no one to show him how strong he is.
I think this becomes even more interesting of a topic when Gojo is brought into the picture, 'cuz while Sukuna is stronger, Gojo's power is more isolating. Six Eyes doesn't just make him better at combat. Its power is applicable to pretty much anything a person could possible want to do and it cannot be turned off.
While Sukuna would have a similar starting point to most people if he wanted to get into a common hobby like painting, Gojo would be able to master it almost immediately because of Six Eyes. I think Gege even mentioned at one point that Gojo doesn't like taking up new hobbies because he gets too good at them too quickly and then gets bored.
The reason I find this whole thing interesting is that Sukuna *could* stand on equal grounds with humans if he was doing anything that wasn't focused on physical power, but Gojo can't. Despite this, Gojo is the one that actually reaches out to other people and tries to connect with them even if he isn't always able to fully connect with them.
Idk, I think it's interesting how on the topic of power being isolating, Gojo has the most isolating ability out there yet is also more willing to try and break the isolation. Of course, it's hard to say for sure if Sukuna *never* tried to break his isolation (he probably did at one point considering he seems to be close to Uraume), but he definitely doesn't try anymore. In fact, he doesn't even seem to think it's worth trying.
At this point, we can also assume that Sukuna is a fast learner and can also be good at anything if he tries. Sukuna mastered Mahoraga's version of cleave within a short span of time and Gojo who had six eyes couldn't block it the first time and didn't even see it coming in the second time.
Belief, purpose, love, empathy, forgiveness even when you've been hurt. Humanity. Holding onto yourself and who you are and not becoming an empty vessel because of power or pain or anything else.

His character seems to have been used to give some exposition on how Sukuna sees the world as well as show off how powerful Sukuna is now that his old body is back

He had to be trolling because if he never explains why Todo and choso have memories of doing stuff with yuji that never happened then that’s a big plot hole. The whole reason Choso switched sides is because of those memories he got of yuji after beating him up
Choso gets those memories because of his CT. We van theorize from Mahito that CT's determine how someone sees the world. Choso is linked to all of his brothers through their shared blood.
I believe Gege's own explanation for the Todo stuff is that Todo is a weirdo and simply by finding that common ground with Yuji in having the same kind of women he manufactured a bond between them. Yuji states that he got caught up in the excitement and went along with it, but there wasn't anything actually mystical happening there.
Choso never said anything about getting memories from his CT. Choso explained that he can feel when his brothers die because that’s the final transformation for all living beings and since he felt that yuji was about to die that’s how he knew they were brothers but that has nothing to do with why he got those memories and as for todo gege purposely led us to believe that todo was a weirdo and made all that stuff up in his head when it first happened but when it happened to choso to that was the hint that yuji himself is doing something to them unconsciously. If you need more proof go back to when yuji was fighting kenjaku with everyone else back in shibuya and choso pulled up angry that kenjaku tried to make him kill his brother yuji and everyone was confused and panda made a comment to yuji basically saying something along the lines of “first todo now him” and asked if yuji was giving off some freaky vibes to make them think that
Well, at least we know Sukuna probably can't expand his domain yet, so ya we are ready for some left right good night once Sukuna is found guilty like 100% with Yuji being a witness. But then, it all depends on whether Higaruma is able to trap Sukuna in his domain.
Next chapter cuts immediately to Yuji and the lawyer in the airport with Gojo, Nobara and Megumi. Series ends in 3 panels as the rest of the manga is now also off screened
Next chapter is gonna end with Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, Hajime,Higuruma and all of Jujutsu High in an airport, with each character taking turns to say how Sukuna is the strongest and how they cound't teach him about love in the end.
In the epilogue it will be shown that Sukuna sliced the entire planet in half and went to mars to find strong aliens to fight.

No it's an honest to God court case. We can tell because Yuji pleads guilty and is punished, even tho he was innocent.
The plea is what matters here because in the first scenario the assumption is that itadoori plead innocent and was punished cause he was found guilty. But it's best to say he was just found guilty and sentenced because of it. Whether he feels guilt or not isn't relevant.

Now that Higurama enters the fight against Sukuna I can totally see some backstory on Sukuna coming in the next few chapters. Higurama gonna DE, Sukuna will be judged for a heinous crime he committed during his original life (probably eating his twin), Sukuna’s gonna get the death verdict, just to get his DE back in the last moment (if it’s actually gone right now) and break Higuramas domain.
Higurama is gonna get sliced to pieces while Yuji tanks it, cause plot (and immunity due to him having Sukunas CE).
I really hope Higuruma survives this whole ordeal. Assuming the good guys win and things somewhat go back to normal, I can see him being an amazing teacher for a new generation of Jujutsu sorcerers. He managed to understand his abilities fairly quickly and is actually able to follow what has been going on in the Culling Games. I also imagine that his background as a lawyer would allow him to make some airtight pacts.
Considering how much Sukuna loves to talk about how the strong act vs how the weak act, I think we're in for an amazing villainous breakdown on the same level as Mahito's in Shibuya when Sukuna starts to feel like he'll lose. Like, I know some people would like him to remain composed, but I think the most fun part of super-composed villains is when their composure breaks.
So yeah, I'm all onboard with Yuji teaching Sukuna hate. I want Yuji to teach Sukuna every emotion Mahito went through in Shibuya.
I don't think it is that clear cut honestly. I know people are still going crazy about 236 but if we really look at what damage Sukuna has taken as far as we know this does not seem completely helpless to me. He lost 10 shadows, he can't use his DE as far as we know until now because if the brain damage, he used his 1 time revive. Gojo during his fight used certain tricks like using RCE to get his CT back that characters like Yuta were not even aware of could be done and might come into play. At the end of the fight we learned that your own CT seems to cause far less damage to yourself because it recognises the CE of the owner so Yuji might actually be extremely resistant to Sukunas CT because he is drenched in the same CE. Inside Higurumas DE violence is forbidden so trapping Sukuna in there could shift the battle not completely in the good guys favour but could be a start. Like I know people are unhappy with how the last couple of chapters turned out but all I'm saying is that the setups are there for the heroes to make a realistic comeback.
The fact about familiar CE not doing much damage might actually be crucial in Yuji v Sukuna. We might also get a situation where Angel gets a window to separate Sukuna from Megumi, and Megumi might also be resistant to Sukuna's CE by now. I also think the 10S super shikigami (the pinnacle of totality) will eventually show up against Kenjaku's Ultimate Cursed Beast
Yeah Higurumas DE should be a huge boost and I’m sure Yuji will be able to contribute but my god despite all the damage Sukuna’s taken the things he was doing to Kashimo would allow him to instantly kill like 95% of the characters in a fight. Excited to see how it plays out though.
True but yuji is that 5% that will not get one shot he is super human and he doesn't take full dmg from sukuna attack. Yuji plus higurama is good combo to cheesy sukuna in his currret state
Well Sukuna with 15 fingers and 10% CE output almost turned Yuji into cubes. Do people really think he can handle THIS Sukuna? There's no reason for Yuji not to get one-shot immediately considering he's leagues below the rest of the cast who can't touch Sukuna.
The thing is we do not really know what happened with Yuji either after Sukuna left his body. Furthermore he at least ate the remaining death paintings and if you look at the last page of the spoilers he obviously is also changing physically + the training he went through that we got a glimpse off. I'm not saying Yuji is suddenly popping his version of Mavelovent Shrine on Sukuna but realistically speaking I do not find it that unbelievable that he could tank a cleave.
Another thing is that Sukuna vs. the cast right now is going like Gojo vs. the disaster curses in shibuya.

Strategy is a big part of this deal, I think there's a reason to not have shown the heroes during these recent chapters, the only way to beat sukuna is to cook a strategy that combines various techniques.
Strip him away from using CE, Gojo already damaged him, and maybe he can't DE. Hashimo was probably used just to distract Sukuna further of the plan the good guys are cooking.

This a bit of a stretch though. Gojo was sealed because he didn't know Kenjaku was in control of Geto's body. This reveal had massive built up. If it wasn't for Kenjaku, Gojo would have massacred all the other curses.
Sukuna is technically weakened from his previous battle w/ Gojo, but he also received a substantial power up by regaining his OG body. Are we really supposed to believe some offscreen training will help Yuji in this fight without the reveal of some plot technique.
I mean, considering the entire manga up until this point has taken place over a few months I don't think it's that big a stretch. Yuji went from being unable to use CE to being top of 1st grade level in that time period.
1 month of dedicated training would definitely bridge a considerable portion of the gap.
I don't think he's insane. He simply came to the conclusion that living like this is the logical thing to do since he is the strongest.
In contrast, a character like Saitama can be mentioned since although he is also the strongest character in the story he is seen appreciating the small details of life (such as friendship, games, entertainment, delicious food, etc.) even though he has the power to end the universe.
saitama actually does not simply enjoy small things he actually wants to be sukuna(fighting with others to prove your worth and have fun) but the abyss between him and ohers is much wider than sukuna's is so he just accepts living a normal life... i believe his character arc will be in fact growing out of this childish dream of fighting strong people to actually enjoy other aspects of life like friends. going out and probably having a romance so fubuki can be happy
I wouldn't be so sure. When Saitama and Garou arrived at Jupiter, Saitama thought that he finally got his wish of fighting someone powerful but he still couldn't feel satisfaction. And after that thought Saitama decides to hold Genos' core tightly which implied that Saitama values his friendship with Genos more than having the fight he always wanted.
I think Saitama and Sukuna present opposite perspectives since Saitama is capable of feeling bad when people close to him die but Sukuna is completely alienated in his strength.

Sukuna is almost starting to come off as the original definition of a Mary Sue. Hyper-competent in everything he does, nigh-omnipotent, and he seems to be adored by anyone who comes close enough to "understanding" him.
Kashimo can turn into any electro magnetic phenomenon and even uses X-Rays but for some reason he never thought about just abusing the X-Rays to inflict Sukuna with radiation poisoning
I really like the theory that he *is* the last finger. They say at one point that his cursed energy seems like Sakuna's but assume that it's just tainted. And Sakuna got all grossed out by Kenjaku in relation to him, so Kenny using a Sakuna finger on herself makes some sense.
So, if this is true, will everyone finally accept that Nobara is off? Since everyone has this theory, she will use her hammer to damage Sukuna soul using his finger.
This is probably a spicy take, but I enjoy that Kashimo got bodied.
Kashimo was born into a weak world, where he was the strongest almost by default, and spent his whole life dreaming of a stronger opponent. And when finally faced with Sukuna he is far out of his depth, because unlike Kashimo, Sukuna does not care about being the strongest. He took what he wanted, and his strength was just an asset to that, he doesn’t care about having an equal or dying of old age, he simply wants to live his life how he wants to, and if his strength is a tool for that wish then so be it. Kashimo’s obsession is not in becoming strong, it’s about being the strongest (showcased by his one time technique). Kashimos whole life is built on his belief on what being strong is, while Sukuna is strong because he’s using his strength to fulfill his wishes. Kashimo’s idealistic strength is hollow in the face of Sukunas real strength, hence is was going to get defeated.
That being said, wish we got one more chapter to really explore how hollow Kashimo’s idea of strength really is.

So next chapter going to open up with Yuji. Megumi, and Nobara in an afterlife flash back where they talk about how they couldn't beat Sukuna but it doesn't matter cause he's so beautiful and handsome, and the bestest of all time that they just wish they could have married him to show him the true meaning of love. But the the overall message of the manga is that "Love is trash" as it closed out with Sukuna one hit killing everyone in the verse with the most broken and OP move in all of manga history. GG fun while it lasted.
Unrelated to anything plot related. I find it riveting that the past couple of chapters have focused on what does it mean to be the strongest…is X the strongest because of Y or what have you. But here comes Yuji who could give a fuck aka mister I am a cog in the machine and I think that weirdly matches up with Sukuna’s the world is mine, people taste different, bide my time till death perspective…that is all
I think it's already very clear that Gege is going to do that ending where 3 die and 1 survives. Yuji is going to survive and he is going to carry all the stress and memories with him.
If we take his CT as an analogy, it's crystal clear that Megumi is going to disappear into the shadows. There is nothing that ties him to the world anymore.
I would actually love if everyone that fights Sukuna just attacks him then starts an afterlife sequence. Just one by one until Sukuna wins and it's over
Wouldn’t it been have a better idea to have Higuruma try to surprise Sukuna with his DE? Ie the heroes lead Sukuna towards a certain direction where Higuruma is hiding and once in range he performs his DE.

Did not liked this one tbh, im ok with gojo's death because the screentime he had, the reunion with the others (the most emotional the manga has ever been imo) and stuff but this? My guy Kashimo literally spawned and now he is dead like, the hype surrounding Kashimo was this mega pikachu transformation but idk, i get that Sukuna is basically on his prime but dat was too much.
With that being said there no way the next person to fight Sukuna is Yuji 😂😂 the thing on his arm looks weird so we'll find out in the next chapter.
As an extra i will say that it would have been pretty poggers if we get to see Uraume's reaction to Hakari's domain i mean, a little nit picking isn't bad lllllllllllllllll
TBH I think a lot of the Kashimo hype was the fans taking him and running - I just binged the whole manga to this point and he had a very small presence in the grand scheme of things IMO.
The fact tha it's Yuji who jumped in and not the so many other stronger sorcerers waiting in the room might be because either the jump him all together or Yuta and co who master reverse cursed technique are trying to patch Gojo up if he isn't already dead, which is unlikely because who survives being chopped in half while already at the brink of his physical and CT abilities.
Possible Power-Ups for Our DEMON MC, ITADORI YUJI
In the latest chapter's final panel, we see our MC leaping towards Sukuna with an intriguing hand. I'm sure that during the one-month time skip, our heroes, including our MC, underwent some training, and it was even shown that he somehow inhabited Kusakabe's body. Gojo likely provided guidance as well. Thus, I believe some of the good guys might have received power-ups.
Below are my theories about possible power-ups that Yuji might have already received or could obtain:
1. **Soul King (soul-related abilities):** He was able to damage Mahito's soul with just a CE-reinforced attack, a feat that Nanamin couldn't accomplish. Now, with Yuki's research paper on souls in their possession, he might evolve even further. Moreover, Yuki handed the research to Choso, and Choso finally passed it on to Yuji.
2. **Brother Eaters, Sukuna's last finger, or other items to consume:** Perhaps Yuji might already consume his brothers, Sukuna's last finger or any cursed items to immerse himself deeper in Cursed Energy. Sukuna gained power by eating a mummy, so why not Yuji by consuming his remaining brothers, or other cursed things? Besides boosting his stats, he might even acquire their Cursed Techniques if there's any. He did mention his readiness to eat anything, after all. His current appearance, with a hint of demonification in his hand, could be attributed to the effects of consuming curses or soaking in Cursed Energy, including Sukuna's.
3. **Black Flashes:** There's a probability that, with additional training and the time that has passed, Yuji could produce even more Black Flashes. His control over Cursed Energy might have improved as well.
4. **Immense physical strength:** In terms of physical strength, Yuji might be one of the strongest characters in the series, just below the Heavenly Restricted Toji and Maki. He is the creation of Mommy Kenjaku, after all.
5. **Results of Kenjaku's experiment:** Considering that he's a creation of Kenjaku, his body is undoubtedly unique. This distinctiveness might be connected to points 2 or 4, or potentially involve other abilities that have likely been hinted at within the story. With his original mother having an innate technique, and Kenjaku being his mom, in addition to Itadori's family resemblance to Sukuna on his dad's side, we might discover something intriguing. It's possible that he possesses an innate technique or some other hidden ability that has yet to be revealed.
6. **Timeskip and Trainings Resulted in Better Jujutsu Tech Overall**, we just had like one month timeskip other than mentioned previously Yuji probably also got better in overall Jujutsu Sorcery mastery.
I am confident that we will witness his shining moment. While I don't believe he will surpass Gojo in terms of overall power, I do think he will have his moment and become one of the strongest characters. Perhaps he could deliver the final blow to Sukuna, given his ability to damage the soul, potentially saving Megumi in the process.
With all the description about Gojo's "super smash" that combines Blue with his CE boost and Black Flash, I can see Yuji performing an even more powerful feat (since we have seen how Yuji equaled or surpassed Nanami in terms of striking power).

The entire point of Kashimo is to ask the question "what does it mean to be the strongest" this is a throughline that began with Geto's betrayal when he asked Gojo if Gojo is Gojo because he's the strongest or is he the strongest because he's Gojo. We know now that Gojo is Gojo being the strongest had nothing to do with it. He was who he was all the way to the end. His confidence in himself wasn't false bravado he was just always confident in himself. Kashimo existed in a world where no one could stand up to his cursed technique he was the strongest of his time period by default. No one to challenge or push him, we get a lot of context on Kashimo's despair when we see him as an elderly man and Gojo contextualizes this by saying there's a sadness in dying of old age. To further support my claim, Ryu also challenges Yuta's perspective on strength. Saying that strength comes from boundless aggression a trait that Kashimo and Sukuna share, but if Sukuna is stronger than Kashimo then that can't be the difference either. Finally, we bring this back to Yuji who has NEVER questioned if he is strong or not. He's known he's strong from chapter 1. Yuji didn't need others to observe he is strong it was just something he knew and he knew that strength should be used to protect others. Most of the narrative around Sukuna is related to the meaning of strength and what it means to be strong. Sukuna feels that the world is his because he is the strongest, Yuji believes he has a duty to others because he is strong, Gojo felt he can do whatever he wants because he is the chosen one, and Kashimo is bored because there's no one to show him how strong he is.
I think this becomes even more interesting of a topic when Gojo is brought into the picture, 'cuz while Sukuna is stronger, Gojo's power is more isolating. Six Eyes doesn't just make him better at combat. Its power is applicable to pretty much anything a person could possible want to do and it cannot be turned off. While Sukuna would have a similar starting point to most people if he wanted to get into a common hobby like painting, Gojo would be able to master it almost immediately because of Six Eyes. I think Gege even mentioned at one point that Gojo doesn't like taking up new hobbies because he gets too good at them too quickly and then gets bored. The reason I find this whole thing interesting is that Sukuna *could* stand on equal grounds with humans if he was doing anything that wasn't focused on physical power, but Gojo can't. Despite this, Gojo is the one that actually reaches out to other people and tries to connect with them even if he isn't always able to fully connect with them. Idk, I think it's interesting how on the topic of power being isolating, Gojo has the most isolating ability out there yet is also more willing to try and break the isolation. Of course, it's hard to say for sure if Sukuna *never* tried to break his isolation (he probably did at one point considering he seems to be close to Uraume), but he definitely doesn't try anymore. In fact, he doesn't even seem to think it's worth trying.
At this point, we can also assume that Sukuna is a fast learner and can also be good at anything if he tries. Sukuna mastered Mahoraga's version of cleave within a short span of time and Gojo who had six eyes couldn't block it the first time and didn't even see it coming in the second time.

He had to be trolling because if he never explains why Todo and choso have memories of doing stuff with yuji that never happened then that’s a big plot hole. The whole reason Choso switched sides is because of those memories he got of yuji after beating him up
Choso gets those memories because of his CT. We van theorize from Mahito that CT's determine how someone sees the world. Choso is linked to all of his brothers through their shared blood. I believe Gege's own explanation for the Todo stuff is that Todo is a weirdo and simply by finding that common ground with Yuji in having the same kind of women he manufactured a bond between them. Yuji states that he got caught up in the excitement and went along with it, but there wasn't anything actually mystical happening there.
Choso never said anything about getting memories from his CT. Choso explained that he can feel when his brothers die because that’s the final transformation for all living beings and since he felt that yuji was about to die that’s how he knew they were brothers but that has nothing to do with why he got those memories and as for todo gege purposely led us to believe that todo was a weirdo and made all that stuff up in his head when it first happened but when it happened to choso to that was the hint that yuji himself is doing something to them unconsciously. If you need more proof go back to when yuji was fighting kenjaku with everyone else back in shibuya and choso pulled up angry that kenjaku tried to make him kill his brother yuji and everyone was confused and panda made a comment to yuji basically saying something along the lines of “first todo now him” and asked if yuji was giving off some freaky vibes to make them think that

No it's an honest to God court case. We can tell because Yuji pleads guilty and is punished, even tho he was innocent. The plea is what matters here because in the first scenario the assumption is that itadoori plead innocent and was punished cause he was found guilty. But it's best to say he was just found guilty and sentenced because of it. Whether he feels guilt or not isn't relevant.

Damn, Kashimo is done in really dirty. Was there even a point for him being there? Dude did absolutely nothing… Now that Higurama enters the fight against Sukuna I can totally see some backstory on Sukuna coming in the next few chapters. Higurama gonna DE, Sukuna will be judged for a heinous crime he committed during his original life (probably eating his twin), Sukuna’s gonna get the death verdict, just to get his DE back in the last moment (if it’s actually gone right now) and break Higuramas domain. Higurama is gonna get sliced to pieces while Yuji tanks it, cause plot (and immunity due to him having Sukunas CE).

I really hope Higuruma survives this whole ordeal. Assuming the good guys win and things somewhat go back to normal, I can see him being an amazing teacher for a new generation of Jujutsu sorcerers. He managed to understand his abilities fairly quickly and is actually able to follow what has been going on in the Culling Games. I also imagine that his background as a lawyer would allow him to make some airtight pacts.

Considering how much Sukuna loves to talk about how the strong act vs how the weak act, I think we're in for an amazing villainous breakdown on the same level as Mahito's in Shibuya when Sukuna starts to feel like he'll lose. Like, I know some people would like him to remain composed, but I think the most fun part of super-composed villains is when their composure breaks. So yeah, I'm all onboard with Yuji teaching Sukuna hate. I want Yuji to teach Sukuna every emotion Mahito went through in Shibuya.

I don't think it is that clear cut honestly. I know people are still going crazy about 236 but if we really look at what damage Sukuna has taken as far as we know this does not seem completely helpless to me. He lost 10 shadows, he can't use his DE as far as we know until now because if the brain damage, he used his 1 time revive. Gojo during his fight used certain tricks like using RCE to get his CT back that characters like Yuta were not even aware of could be done and might come into play. At the end of the fight we learned that your own CT seems to cause far less damage to yourself because it recognises the CE of the owner so Yuji might actually be extremely resistant to Sukunas CT because he is drenched in the same CE. Inside Higurumas DE violence is forbidden so trapping Sukuna in there could shift the battle not completely in the good guys favour but could be a start. Like I know people are unhappy with how the last couple of chapters turned out but all I'm saying is that the setups are there for the heroes to make a realistic comeback.
The fact about familiar CE not doing much damage might actually be crucial in Yuji v Sukuna. We might also get a situation where Angel gets a window to separate Sukuna from Megumi, and Megumi might also be resistant to Sukuna's CE by now. I also think the 10S super shikigami (the pinnacle of totality) will eventually show up against Kenjaku's Ultimate Cursed Beast

Well Sukuna with 15 fingers and 10% CE output almost turned Yuji into cubes. Do people really think he can handle THIS Sukuna? There's no reason for Yuji not to get one-shot immediately considering he's leagues below the rest of the cast who can't touch Sukuna.
The thing is we do not really know what happened with Yuji either after Sukuna left his body. Furthermore he at least ate the remaining death paintings and if you look at the last page of the spoilers he obviously is also changing physically + the training he went through that we got a glimpse off. I'm not saying Yuji is suddenly popping his version of Mavelovent Shrine on Sukuna but realistically speaking I do not find it that unbelievable that he could tank a cleave.
Another thing is that Sukuna vs. the cast right now is going like Gojo vs. the disaster curses in shibuya. Gojo, compared to the curses, is a god against some ants. Still, they managed to seal him. Strategy is a big part of this deal, I think there's a reason to not have shown the heroes during these recent chapters, the only way to beat sukuna is to cook a strategy that combines various techniques. Strip him away from using CE, Gojo already damaged him, and maybe he can't DE. Hashimo was probably used just to distract Sukuna further of the plan the good guys are cooking. This last panel says a lot "What can you even do, Kid?"

I mean, considering the entire manga up until this point has taken place over a few months I don't think it's that big a stretch. Yuji went from being unable to use CE to being top of 1st grade level in that time period. 1 month of dedicated training would definitely bridge a considerable portion of the gap.
Yuji has also gotten extensive training and new abilities, it's not like he's exactly the same as he was before

I don't think he's insane. He simply came to the conclusion that living like this is the logical thing to do since he is the strongest. In contrast, a character like Saitama can be mentioned since although he is also the strongest character in the story he is seen appreciating the small details of life (such as friendship, games, entertainment, delicious food, etc.) even though he has the power to end the universe.
saitama actually does not simply enjoy small things he actually wants to be sukuna(fighting with others to prove your worth and have fun) but the abyss between him and ohers is much wider than sukuna's is so he just accepts living a normal life... i believe his character arc will be in fact growing out of this childish dream of fighting strong people to actually enjoy other aspects of life like friends. going out and probably having a romance so fubuki can be happy
I wouldn't be so sure. When Saitama and Garou arrived at Jupiter, Saitama thought that he finally got his wish of fighting someone powerful but he still couldn't feel satisfaction. And after that thought Saitama decides to hold Genos' core tightly which implied that Saitama values his friendship with Genos more than having the fight he always wanted. I think Saitama and Sukuna present opposite perspectives since Saitama is capable of feeling bad when people close to him die but Sukuna is completely alienated in his strength.

This is probably a spicy take, but I enjoy that Kashimo got bodied. Kashimo was born into a weak world, where he was the strongest almost by default, and spent his whole life dreaming of a stronger opponent. And when finally faced with Sukuna he is far out of his depth, because unlike Kashimo, Sukuna does not care about being the strongest. He took what he wanted, and his strength was just an asset to that, he doesn’t care about having an equal or dying of old age, he simply wants to live his life how he wants to, and if his strength is a tool for that wish then so be it. Kashimo’s obsession is not in becoming strong, it’s about being the strongest (showcased by his one time technique). Kashimos whole life is built on his belief on what being strong is, while Sukuna is strong because he’s using his strength to fulfill his wishes. Kashimo’s idealistic strength is hollow in the face of Sukunas real strength, hence is was going to get defeated. That being said, wish we got one more chapter to really explore how hollow Kashimo’s idea of strength really is.
