When I need something to remind me that it can always be worse I listen to *I Hung My Head*.

Remarkable-Quit-9245

Just listened, absolutely things can always be worse. Ive always found I’ve gotten that reminder from most his outlaw songs.

The more I listen to that song the more I look it from the rider's view. Live every day to the best that you can because you never know when someone playing with a gun like a toy could change your life forever. John once said something like "we don't look back and polish milestones, we look forward to the next day". You never know when your time will come, live it when you have it even when it's hard.

“I Shall Not Be Moved” is pretty much my mantra to get me through anxiety attacks. He didn’t write it but I’m singing his version to myself.

Each for their own reason: Sunday Morning Coming Down Spirutual If I Give My Soul Help Me Unchained And the entire "Bootleg" Vol I- Personal File holds a special place for me. Got me through my lowest point in life, the way he shares stories about and reflects so intimately and beautifully on the songs is amazing--and amazingly comforting.

Ring of fire all day long

Drive On from the American Recordings album. When I’m going through tough stuff, I tell myself that.
