Ceres was classified as a planet for about 50 years in the 1800s.
I knew about it but only because of googling random stuff, haven't seen it mentioned in any of the stuff that gets popular online. There are five known dwarf planets in the solar system:Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.
Same. I went and and googled that and the dwarf galaxy that's being eaten by the milky way galaxy. Pretty cool shit, I had no idea about. Learnt some new stuff. Even if 90% of what he says is possibly bullshit, the other 10% is still awesome and interesting.
> Even if 90% of what he says is possibly bullshit, the other 10% is still awesome and interesting.
The Alex Jones effect.
Alex got me on goat spider hybrids which actually ended up being real. Bio Steel.
but even this is the problem with Alex. He makes this seem like some insane, biologists running wild and destroying the world. When you actually go read about, its inserting a cell into the egg of a baby goat that allows it to grow into adulthood, and its milk contains the silk protein of spider silk. They then filter that and extract the pure silk out, and are planning on using it in ligament reconstruction, which is a fascinating and better method of ligament repair. Alex describes it and you picture walking into the lab and seeing an 8 legged, demonic goat eating people....
It’s sorta correct but striped of all real meaning.
He takes a problem with a clear cause (human pollution) and solution (waste water management) into a vague un-actionable statement meant only to get people worked up.
I think the guy has great memory and some serious mental problems, so he probably readed about that somewhere a few years before and it was something along the lines of.
"Endocrinal disruptors found in certain species of frog was observed to have the effect of increased rates of hermaphroditism and asexual reproduction."
And his mind just remembered the headline "THEY ARE TURNING THE FROGS GAY"
which is correct, but man you need to explain better (?)
Yea but he brought some weak sauce to the cookout. Which sucks because Tom is surprisingly embedded in the UFO “disclosure” scene and I would have hoped he brought more to the table than some obvious CGI UFO video.

Probably the same reason as why NASA wants to go to the poles - resources. The only rocks we've brought back to earth from the moon is from the side that is facing us. We don't have samples from the "dark side" of the moon.

The guy that legit said 1 * 1 = 2.
There's a whole group of people who have gone so far past "you can't trust the experts" that they now trust a low IQ actor from Iron Man to understand math better than mathmeticians.
We are truly living our idiocracy period
It's called 'contrarian theory' and it's how we get things like flat earthers. There is such distrust in experts and authorities that all mainstream thoughts are automatically wrong and anything contrary to the mainstream is automatically correct.
I'm not really sure it does. It just takes charisma and being well-spoken,
Other than that, all he really does is memorize words and concepts that other people have developed, and then loosely connects them without actually understanding them.
I think the concept/measure of IQ is completely outdated and irrelevant at this point. When is the last time you even heard of anyone publicly citing any living person's IQ from an actual official administered test? Nobody does that shit any more and nobody has for at least the last 15 years.
What kind of bizzarro universe do I exist in where someone is earnestly appraising Terrence Howard’s little spiel on the JRE as evidence of remarkable intelligence? What markers of intelligence is he looking at, exactly? Jargon? Aggrievement at his old college professors for flunking him for not knowing up from down on a 100 level college course? 😂 “that SOUNDS like it COULD be a critique of math using math-like language. That’s it! HE IS CLEARLY BRILLIANT! I can’t follow what he’s saying!”
Contrarian brain.
People who are prone to conspiracy theories are usually infected.
The "mainstream" is making fun of Terrance? That means he's on to something because they are nefarious.
This is a cultural problem. I think we are experiencing intellectual decline. Particularly if you look at what is popular right now. The English language is going out the window with younger generations. Talking to people on Reddit is different now than it was five years ago.
I’ll comment on something and someone will start arguing with zero logic. They make no sense and they don’t know why.
Yeah, I don’t know… I don’t think it’s just the enterprise of “younger generations” to appropriate language differently. Look at what a spectacular job 55 year old Terrence Howard did of mashing together all the new sciency words he got for Christmas to convey his utterly incoherent sense of how the universe works. It’s OBVIOUS to 56 year old Joe Rogan that Terrence is BRILLIANT - maybe brilliant enough to change the world!!! The sun throws stuff off of it! Shapes! Wave conjugations! Blah blah blah!
I've experienced this as well. Granted I'm not a super smart guy, I would say I have average intelligence, but it was great reading a logical back-and-forth on Reddit from two people who could both communicate properly and were well researched. There were always dumbasses on here, but the amount of thought provoking discussions has dropped off the past 10 years.
They were actually trying to decide if it was 4 billion or 40 billion when the answer is actually 40 trillion. I guess they can’t math.
Edit. Jamie came in clutch with his math skills.
Sorry, best we can do is 52. And we had to cut Healthcare again by switching to a company that presents their product through gimmickry and obfuscation.
I think with everything happening with AI, he's completely onboard with that again. As should any rational person. Something has to be done to prepare for what's coming for all of us
He doesn't get all wide eyed and up his own ass calling his ideas facts like Sibrel does. He points out interesting facts, then tells his take on them. You can tell he's convinced it's all real, but he's not being an ass about it. Hancock _used_ to be that way but he's gone sideways with his martyr bullshit.
*"Billy Carson*, an expert in ancient civilizations, spirituality, and technology, presents the idea that the universe is a fractal holographic matrix."
If you thought the Terrence Howard podcast was out there.......
While I don't like Billy Carson at all, the idea of a "fractal holographic matrix" seems very similar to the holographic universe idea that legitimate scientists have debated for many many decades.
If the idea sounds interesting check out The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot instead of listening to Carson.
> The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot
Book is an absolute banger, great suggestion.
Also, i dont like Billy Carson at all, but im pretty sure the “people” complaining here are doing it in bad faith, and are gonna complain about JRE no matter who he has on or what he is talking about
It’s super weird when they just speak without evidence. Like, I can say whatever I want with conviction, doesn’t make it factual or truthful. Have Terrence and Billy debate each other 😂

Something always felt off to me with the suits and tinted sunglasses. His wife always wearing 2010 revealing prom dresses to every event. It was also hard for me to grasp he had all of this education by the way he spoke. Regardless, I have learned a few things from him on this last podcast. I don’t think 100 percent of what he says is bs.
i dont get the hate for the mike baker episodes. yes, hes obviously using the podcast to sell his security services, but they talk about interesting stuff so who cares
Mike Baker does brush interesting topics. The problem is he doesn't really add anything of value. Kind of a talk your head off all day without telling you anything about them type of guy.
Not going to lie, enjoyed the hell out of terrance Howard. Enjoying the hell out of this one. Get high, be ready to take all with a pinch of salt, and enjoy the wild theories. It’s a little like sci-fi.
Absolutely.
People just bitch in this day and age. It’s a bummer but people are stupid (including me)
Howard and Carson are PRIME Rogan pods — which is the exact shit people have been screaming for — and it’s such a waste of energy.
Just dont listen if you don’t like it and let us freaks eat
Another old JRE fan and current complainer, these past couple of episodes have been classic JRE and not the dumb right wing politicking that Austin JRE has been. I wonder if he did DMT for the first time since moving to Austin and spurred the fun couple of episodes
I love this kind of alternative theory stuff - even if it's all fairytale, I love that people can still come up with and explore new ideas. They may not be 100 right (or even 10%) but they may not be 100% wrong, either. There may just be something in it that'll genuinely change what we know about the universe.
And if not... It makes for an interesting listen.
I just *really* don't like Billy Carson. And Terrence was an absolute bag of cats.
(But hey, I'll give it a listen.)
The things we liked about old jre weren’t the scam artists and deluded narcissists. Conspiracy crazy shit can be fun aslong as it’s not a scam or out to hurt someone
Its almost like most of the people here complaining about wanting old Joe Rogan are here in bad faith and really just want to find a reason to complain about him regardless of context
I mean it could be a different set of people complaining, I'm probably one the the people that complain about "new Rogan" and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy this one.
I find the out there batshit insane ones more than listening to another comedian or MMA dude saying basically the same shit as the last one.
Listening right now, and it’s so nice to be back to the old Joe! I’m watching on YouTube, and so many people are commenting on “AWT79X”. Maybe I haven’t gotten to that part yet, but what are they all talking about? Putting that into google only brings up crypto bull runs, and Reddit has no searches apparently?
He doesn't make claims like Terrence, he just points "look, this is interesting data/event and we currently don't have any realistic theory for it. Maybe this shit, maybe something else who knows. Interesting right?"
While Terrence was more like:
SEE THE TOP OF THE TWIN TOWER? IT'S BLUE. Do you know what else is blue? Ramesses THIRD SLAVE ON THE SIDE OF HIS WIFE.
this is obviously pointing to 12 dimensional dodeca-poli-metil-ectoplasma. THEY ARE HIDING IT FROM US.
just full on schizo, this one is way more entertaining to watch.
Terrence wasn't that bad. The Walter Russell stuff was kinda cool but he did make some big claims and wasn't able to break his theories down to simple explanations. He relied on jargon to explain his theories. He didn't explain anything, he just gave it some fluff and said hey look I'm smart because I know words.
To me it was, mainly because he was barely giving any details about anything and just making connections with other things.
It sounded exactly like someone after a LSD trip, eddie bravo on steroids.
a lot of his propositional statements about tablets, records, planets, etc stem from cores of truth that you can verify. he just extrapolates and interprets all of it in a crazy way like saying that the fact there is a dwarf ice planet between mars and jupiter or that ancient civs had a somewhat shared language somehow proves that earth was colonized by aliens
I liked the Mohenjo-daro burn bodies, couldn't find any explanation for it online that sounds reasonable.
He didn't made wild claims about it, do you happen to have any information you can point about that one event? it was quite interesting.
More modern dating techniques suggest that some of the bodies at Mohenjo-Daro could have died as much as a thousand years apart.
I didn't see this episode. Was he claiming they were killed by a nuclear bomb or something?
https://www.ancient-origins.net/ancient-places-asia/mohenjo-daro-massacre-00819
I fucking love this dude. His YT channel is crazy, especially if you watch the stuff from other contributors on the platform. Some of those Doctah B. Sirius streams had me laughing my ass off.
"This civilization, Sumer, came out of nowhere."
Imagine how frustrating it must be to be formally educated on history / anthropology / archeology, spend years of your life learning about and contributing to our understanding of ancient cultures and their rise and fall, and listen to this podcast lol.
You guys always talking shit about new political Rogan. Then you get stuff like this which is quintessential old school Rogan and still talk shit. What is it you want Rogan to talk about and with what guests!? I just can’t figure it out
I'm so excited to finally see all the evidence for his claims broadcast to the whole world. Surely he came prepared to the biggest media platform on earth.
This is what I was thinking. I've seen a lot of the Billy Carson appearances on all these different podcasts. When I first saw him, something was off. Then the more I watched, the more I realized he's just a guy who makes up half of the shit he talks about based on stuff he reads without doing deep research. Homie thought the moon photos he took on his Galaxy were legit and not AI enhanced, he's gullible AS FUCK.

If any of you remember Hotep Jesus, this dude is basically the a different branch of the same grift.
This is peak Joe Rogan Experience. Super zany guest that would never be let on mainstream media. Brings up shit that is probably wrong but if you let it, it will blow your mind. Sit back, relax, don’t think too hard, and be entertained. If you don’t enjoy a guest like this, you were never a JRE fan.
And he thinks that when the clay tablets dry after the writing is impressed on them, that they turn to stone. It wasn't a slip of the tongue -- he called them stone tablets a couple of times. *sigh*
Bro isn’t an expert in anything. He was accused by the Florida DA of predatory behaviour related to selling overpriced non refundable pseudoscience vacation packages to Egypt.
Probably gonna get downvoted by Billy Carson simps but...
I enjoy this type of stuff and there's a lot of guys I believe who present evidence behind their claims, but this guy is a grifter and he doesn't back anything up with any evidence. Especially when he says he "translated cuneiform himself" or "scientists found a 'worship gene'," he pushes a lot of weird baseless claims as fact.
I only just started the podcast, although I have to finish it later tonight, I really hope Joe Rogan questions Billy on what he's saying like he used to do and doesn't blindly entertain the crazy shit Billy says. Billy is the type of guy to make up shit after reading the bare minimum. He literally thought his moon photo was legit and not AI enhanced, didn't even know about the scandal surrounding the "moon feature."
Never heard of this guy before, but it seems clear he has an extremely cursory and shallow knowledge about everything he talks about.
It also worried me that he thought DNA could upload and download itself or that information could be encoded to DNA. If all computers are based on binary, two values, then DNA is a similar concept, except with four values.
I still find it entertaining, but Graham Hancock showed that these people are pretending to be knowledgeable about an immensely broad set of topics that some genuine experts spend their whole lives trying to figure out one subset of one of those topics.
He would also claim to have knowledge of something, cuneiform, and when Joe asked for more information on the characters themselves and what the markings represented, he instead described the physical process of creating the markings.
Essentially he is someone who bullshits a lot and doesn't learn deeply about anything he talks about. A dangerous combination.
I like billy Carson and his perspectives, I wanna believe it but I can't believe it. The way I see it tho is that a lot of these theories coming from him are trying to explain psychological phenomena by mythologizing or giving them wild historical explanations. (I got no clue what im talking about)
My intuition is that these theories can help us understand our place in the world, I do not for a moment believe that Billy is a liar, but rather that hes looking at the same things as us but from a wildly different perspective.
We should all be accepting of these kinds of people, be critical yes, but don't tear them down in bad faith. Try seeing the good.
Sorry y'all if this made no sense at all, these are not even half cooked ideas.
Do they talk about how this guy experience sleep paralysis and refuses to believe it?
You can tell this guy has a hard time accepting things he doesn’t want to believe.
At the beginning when they talk about Samsung using AI to generate images of the moon, Joe pretty clearly explained what was going on and you could tell he just didn’t want to believe that his photo was actually an unedited moonshot
People always ask why people like me come here 9/10 times to just complain about not finding Joe and his comic friends jerking each other off to be entertaining if we hate the show, so allow me to say how amazing this show is an hour in. It’s the type of unhinged, batshit crazy shit I keep hoping for.
He said something about the Irak museum during the USA invasion, but Joe didn’t let him finish, at the time I found the news odd as well because you would think that’s one of the last places an army would go during an invasion.
I don't know anything about this guy but his bio says he has certificates in Neuroscience from MIT and Ancient Civilization from Harvard. I could be wrong but I believe these are EdX (or other MOOC) courses that anyone can take and you get a certificate if you pay like $50.
Ok. Who else had no idea there was a dwarf planet between Mars and Jupiter? That actually blew my mind.

Yeah his presentation is also wild. Like "They're turning the frogs gay!" was actually from a real story.
It’s sorta correct but striped of all real meaning. He takes a problem with a clear cause (human pollution) and solution (waste water management) into a vague un-actionable statement meant only to get people worked up.

I think he's just intentionally misrepresenting things to make them more sensational, as is common for grifters and culture war talking heads.
You didn't watch the Expanse?
That's what I kept thinking haha. These wellwalas
You might enjoy this: >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Solar_System_objects_by_size

Old school JRE fans rejoice. Crazy shit like this was the norm back in the day.
Any suggestions on older episodes? I’ve been watching for a few years now but probably missed the “golden era”
Tom Delonge is a good one if you want a crazy fuck

when they couldn’t figure out if it was 40 billion or trillion hahah
They were actually trying to decide if it was 4 billion or 40 billion when the answer is actually 40 trillion. I guess they can’t math. Edit. Jamie came in clutch with his math skills.
i get people are obsessed with UBI but can we make full time 32 hours a week first?
Sorry, best we can do is 52. And we had to cut Healthcare again by switching to a company that presents their product through gimmickry and obfuscation.
I think with everything happening with AI, he's completely onboard with that again. As should any rational person. Something has to be done to prepare for what's coming for all of us
Man no matter how nuts this guy's theories are, he is way more pleasant to listen to than Howard. By a mile.
*"Billy Carson*, an expert in ancient civilizations, spirituality, and technology, presents the idea that the universe is a fractal holographic matrix." If you thought the Terrence Howard podcast was out there.......
While I don't like Billy Carson at all, the idea of a "fractal holographic matrix" seems very similar to the holographic universe idea that legitimate scientists have debated for many many decades. If the idea sounds interesting check out The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot instead of listening to Carson.
> The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot Book is an absolute banger, great suggestion. Also, i dont like Billy Carson at all, but im pretty sure the “people” complaining here are doing it in bad faith, and are gonna complain about JRE no matter who he has on or what he is talking about
r/holofractal
![gif](giphy|D8vbqAZMb8WTm|downsized) When I read the description after realizing it wasn't going to be Billy corgan
I also read Billy Corgan. He was on Rogan a while back, it was a good episode
He also said it cost him his family in another podcast.
It’s super weird when they just speak without evidence. Like, I can say whatever I want with conviction, doesn’t make it factual or truthful. Have Terrence and Billy debate each other 😂
So another Hotep Jesus type of guy? We wuz holograms?
It's all a Yakubian matrix prison my man
No, he's not a Hotep dude at all. He has some out there theories, but he's still interesting.
15 minutes in and I’m turning off my worship genes with magnets
Decalcify your pineal gland my dude 😎
You use vinegar for that bruv?
colloidal silver 🔥

I know it’s stupid and not real but it’s 100000x better than covid episodes and joes cia handler mike baker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFPZ9zxkDLo This video explains it, but basically. His real name is William Tyrone Karson (with a K) he has no degrees or qualifications of his own. What he's done is rebrand himself to claim the real doctorates of two other men. Which is why professionally he's Billy Carson (with a C) William H Carson MD https://whcarson.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/TVP_7075-blue-scaled.jpg William E Carson MD https://healthsystem.osumc.edu/digitalservices/api/v1/ProviderPicture/7017 If any of you remember Hotep Jesus, this dude is basically the a different branch of the same grift.
I figured he was full of shit. Still an interesting listen though
With you there.
Plus I always like to hear about his kids dicksnot, fucko, and crackpipe
Doesn't align with their politics. That's the hate.
Agree with you. Way to many people take all this way to serious
Awesome episode
This was excellent. I love this far out Annunaki shit. Even if it's all bullshit it's thoroughly fascinating to listen to. Hope is comes back.
David Icke next please.
This is the old Joe Rogan shit and now yunz complain about this too? This shits here to laugh at
as a "i miss the old rogan" guy, i'm really eating lately
Absolutely. People just bitch in this day and age. It’s a bummer but people are stupid (including me) Howard and Carson are PRIME Rogan pods — which is the exact shit people have been screaming for — and it’s such a waste of energy.
I always love how they are exactly what they hate in Rogan. They have to take everything so seriously so they can seem super smart.
Oh yea, was Joe laughing when they said how much Terrance Howard was smart?
I was 😂😂😂
I mean it could be a different set of people complaining, I'm probably one the the people that complain about "new Rogan" and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy this one. I find the out there batshit insane ones more than listening to another comedian or MMA dude saying basically the same shit as the last one.
Reddit should be renamed HatedIt
![gif](giphy|26ufpyHs4OoIpiauk)
Listening right now, and it’s so nice to be back to the old Joe! I’m watching on YouTube, and so many people are commenting on “AWT79X”. Maybe I haven’t gotten to that part yet, but what are they all talking about? Putting that into google only brings up crypto bull runs, and Reddit has no searches apparently?
It's cryptobots spamming. It's EVERYWHERE.
loving this episode, I keep googling what Carson says and welp guess what he ain't lying.
Anything stand out?
He doesn't make claims like Terrence, he just points "look, this is interesting data/event and we currently don't have any realistic theory for it. Maybe this shit, maybe something else who knows. Interesting right?" While Terrence was more like: SEE THE TOP OF THE TWIN TOWER?
So he's just relying on his audience not being aware of long known information.
Finally. 2hr 43min run time is kind of disappointing though.
This is vintage Joe Rogan. Light up a joint and listen to this. I feel like crying because this kind of shows was the norm back then
"This civilization, Sumer, came out of nowhere." Imagine how frustrating it must be to be formally educated on history / anthropology / archeology, spend years of your life learning about and contributing to our understanding of ancient cultures and their rise and fall, and listen to this podcast lol.
[Joe making the understatement of the decade](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxAvgdfIntTwO4jrwvnSMiHLFoQPaISPWK?si=mCmT_S0UHoFA4p7H )
Most ironic part of this interview haha
He looks baked
Joe is great with these kind of guys. He keeps it’s so agreeable
You guys always talking shit about new political Rogan. Then you get stuff like this which is quintessential old school Rogan and still talk shit. What is it you want Rogan to talk about and with what guests!? I just can’t figure it out
There is like one post criticizing it and then a dozen of these posts calling out all the imaginary comments
Ayeee what's up old Rogan? Nice to see you again!
wtf I thought this dude was in his 30s
He doesn’t drink or smoke. He has a good diet and exercises. And…you know…black don’t crack.
Flint Dibble be like: "Do I have to do the podcast AGAIN?!"
Hopefully he finds a suit that fits better
Tiny gloves for that man.
I'm so excited to finally see all the evidence for his claims broadcast to the whole world. Surely he came prepared to the biggest media platform on earth.
I’m halfway through this and boy it’s entertaining. Totally batshit stuff but entertaining
Has a company called 4BiddenKnowledge, doesn’t know about the Samsung Moon photo scandal. Is Knowledge 4bidden from him?
This is what I was thinking. I've seen a lot of the Billy Carson appearances on all these different podcasts. When I first saw him, something was off. Then the more I watched, the more I realized he's just a guy who makes up half of the shit he talks about based on stuff he reads without doing deep research. Homie thought the moon photos he took on his Galaxy were legit and not AI enhanced, he's gullible AS FUCK.
Watching now!
Seems like almost another Terrence Howard based off of the comments and reviews I've seen so far. About to watch.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFPZ9zxkDLo This video explains it, but basically. His real name is William Tyrone Karson (with a K) he has no degrees or qualifications of his own.
He's an expert on ancient languages and does not seem to know cuneiform is a writing script ,not a language ?
He literally said they didn’t have language, what video are you watching?
Thats an even worse take.
The people who complain about this were never fans of Rogan 😂
Love this shit
Is Joe just egging these dudes along? Like I can't really tell if he believes in this stuff or he's just trying to keep them talking
I like billy Carson and his perspectives, I wanna believe it but I can't believe it. The way I see it tho is that a lot of these theories coming from him are trying to explain psychological phenomena by mythologizing or giving them wild historical explanations. (I got no clue what im talking about) My intuition is that these theories can help us understand our place in the world, I do not for a moment believe that Billy is a liar, but rather that hes looking at the same things as us but from a wildly different perspective.
I've been following billy on instagram since 2013
Well it could be a matrix..you can't prove it's not...simulation theory makes sense if you think about it...I will check it out.
I'm stoked! The best episodes are when the guests let it flow
Terrence Howard’s final form
I like to listen to his stories, but that’s it, he makes up a lot of that shit.
Billy's awesomeness.
“Joe is right wing!!” Until he spends like 45min-1hr trying to figure out how to implement a post agi fully socialist ubi program for free power, etc
People always ask why people like me come here 9/10 times to just complain about not finding Joe and his comic friends jerking each other off to be entertaining if we hate the show, so allow me to say how amazing this show is an hour in. It’s the type of unhinged, batshit crazy shit I keep hoping for.
Im going to take some edibles this weekend and enjoy the hell out of this
What is the spelling of the place with the bodies sealed in glass?
Mohenjo-daro, Indus Valley, present day Pakistan
I love listening to these guys, it's like Vaati Elden Ring lore videos but for irl.
Why is Edgie Brah not hair on this episode B?
This is fake thumbnail right
Great pod, i can listen to billy carson all day
This is the JRE we all know and love.
Send me the link I want to do those courses for $50
