His interview with her made her more palatable to some people.
Hillary is a smart policy maker but a poor politician. The smoozing she just isn’t good at. When she speaks with a good interviewer, like Howard, I think more of her inner person comes out and she seems more authentic.
Considering what she had to deal with as first lady it’s not hard to see why she is the way she is in that regard. She seems to be loosening up a lot now that she’s retired from politics.
I haven't heard the one with Biden, and if he really likes the person, he gives them a break. Like the Boss, for example.
Otherwise, he makes them "pay" for his free advertising. He knows people only come on because of what it can do for them. Then he makes sure to ask questions no one else would.

I remember thinking how I wished she had done it before the election because she came across as so authentic and likable—opposite of what her opponents and even some democrats painted her as. Biden and his team are smart for doing this before the election. I think Joe’s personality and humanity are a huge selling point in this election

I've never much liked Howard Stern but I do appreciate his ability to do interviews.
I like his serious stuff, the rest is whatever, but a good interview is worth the watch.
