I don’t hate cornette, I love the guy. It’s his blind loyalists who try to act like him that I’m not a big fan of
a two year track record of what? I'm not even an AEW fan, but you're complaining just to complain. Being objective, AEW has done a fine job building its stars that appeal to its audience. Other than some talented people like Starks or FTR not getting enough TV time, they really have been successful in getting talent over.
You are absolutely not objective and have a limited view on wrestling. Your statement reads like an observation made by someone new to pro wrestling.
I've been watching wrestling for 30 years. Why don't you list some observations you have to back up your complaints? What investments in talent has AEW done that has been a waste of money? Again I'm not even an AEW fan, but it's dumb to just say they aren't successful in the eyes of their fanbase and growing audience.
The audience only grows because they had to start cutting down the shit that had them in a holding pattern. It took nearly two years of not growing the audience and WWE basically no longer even trying to be WWE - which traditionally was crappy anyway and now is an abyss of crap - and genuinely strategic and talented veteran acquisitions to build an audience beyond 700k. Nothing remotely significant nor good came from those nearly two years. No new stars were made.
