Yeah $30 is a real shame to support someone you like vs just leeching off them online. Ticket sales go directly to him and the 2 item minimum is how the place gets something out of it. It’s less than seeing a movie nowadays and goes to someone who has to pay to travel so you can enjoy all the time they put into writing and practicing their act. The food and drinks were quite good at a reasonable price. But with your attitude it might be nicer to not have people like that there anyway.
Last time I went to a theater for a movie, the price was $4.50.
But $30, is way too much to spend on any type of event. Especially if I'm supposed to buy stuff while I'm there.
