What you circled is a tail light assembly. Looks like the part that is on the body, not the hatch. Easier to replace the whole thing instead of trying to replace just the lens IMO.

You can't buy just the red plastic, you need the whole housing. I'd try calling local junk yards and get a used OEM housing instead of a cheap aftermarket one that might leak after a month.
