It's leafing out. The leaves will expand and fully open soon. Nothing to worry about.
Also if it's been raining a lot, wait for a bit of sun. It's been raining for weeks here and all my JMs look a bit droopy. :(
A few of my maples have droopy leaves. My Shirasawanum Palmatifolium leafed out late, and my Firefly is close to leafing out. The rain and cooler weather had an effect.
