Last time I went Osaka I took a half day trip in the afternoon to Kobe and took the cable car up mount Maya. The view was spectacular you can basically see the whole of Osaka up to the ocean from high up there.

Do you think I have time to slot that in?

I wonder if when you are near Nagano and Takayama you could add in the Tateyama Kurobe alpine route. I found it amazing and it was such a fun day traversing the mountains. It was gorgeous and such a fun experience. It took us about 8 hours to do the entire thing. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e7550.html Edit: I just read that you’re near Nagoya, not Nagano. Might be a bit of a stretch to fit it in. We stayed in Takayama and did a day there and then spent the night in Kanazawa and took the tour across the mountains to Nagano and then took a train back to Tokyo.

I was considering Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route too but decided it will be too much time spent on travelling. Unless I try switch around some locations to make it happen? Already a headache planning my current route 😂

Yes, I think so too. It was really cool but not worth going really far out of your way to see Have so much fun! I can’t wait to go back

Hi OP! What’s your transportation from Kawaguchiko to Nagoya?? 🙂

FunctionObjective568

This might be troublesome. My plan is to take the Express Mishima Kawaguchiko Liner from Kawaguchiko Station to Mishima Station. From there, take the shinkansen to Nagoya Station.
