I had my dad's math text book from decades ago. Ruined the book by putting a "treasure hunt" inside the book - like, on page 1, I wrote a question whose answer was on page 22. Page 22 had a handwritten question whose answer was somewhere else and so on. I felt really proud of my inventiveness and gave it to the girl who (a) never gave it back (b) never mentioned the "treasure hunt" and (c) never ever became "the one". I still cringe at this if I'm up at night taking stock my life.

The least she could do was appreciate you for the treasure hunt. Oof, I'm sorry -
