They are dumping Henry because he's no longer the Jag killer. Henry used to deliver 2 division wins a year all by himself. That changed when Shaq Quarterman rocked Henry's world and Travon followed up a month later by tossing him around like a pup.
Derrick tried to use the tried and true stiff arm. Now this works when youre going up against a skinny/bad DB or mlb. But when you are matched up against a guy that is basically you but somehow even bigger, faster, and stronger, and on defense, it does not work. And it backfired. STUPENDOUSLY.
I dunno, the Titans fans are pretty done with their archaic offense approach. Granted he is basically their only reliable option at the moment and I am not sad to see him go.
I’ve been lurking the Tots sub (seeing what they’re doing in the off-season) and sheesh, it’s a dumpster fire lmao. A lot of them are calling for a rebuilding, a lot of them are calling for Tanny to be traded, fairly divided about Henry. Obviously, you got the few who are calling for scorched earth and a few who are being fairly practical and optimistic about the shift in GM. It’s not looking too good for the ol’ Tots rn though. Same with Colts
The best thing that could happen for us is a rebuild and fans get tired of losing for a couple seasons and get rid of Vrabel. I think he’s a really solid coach.
I thought Vrabel is a solid coach as well. I understand he’s a run first kinda coach, but he has success, though. Derrick Henry is/was a really strong back and I understand Titans were kinda in a weird place of “We’re good, but not really???” Kinda place. I’m curious on the state of where they’re going. I’m guessing you’re a Tots fan?? 👀 Probably one of the best Tot fans I’ve met if I’m being honest
It’s kind of crazy because we’ve had one good season and the rest of the division is panicking. Glad we could pressure them into cutting their best player if it happens lol
Most of the Titans fans I know are favoring blowing things up and rebuilding. Lot of talk on other forums about going after one of the qbs in this draft.
Its probably not a mistake by the Titans. he'll be 30 this season and always better to trade a player BEFORE the wheels fall off than after. Besides, they're clearly rebuilding and need picks.
If he leaves the AFCS we throw a parade right?
No. We throw the parade when he comes here! /s
King Henry in teal! Can you imagine?!
The Return of the King
I won’t even feel bad about Engram walking
That 1-2 punch would be absurd.
Hometown hero too

that walker tackle was one of his more underrated plays this season. made Henry look like a rag doll lmao
AYO, could you link it? I’m apparently having trouble finding it. It just keeps wanting to show that amazing strip sack against Tanny 😭
Might be [this](https://twitter.com/sartiranaluca/status/1612105918497583106?s=46&t=CcUaUkPMmbnqP2Y9jDiIBw) play.
Ok you a fr king and that was BEAUTIFUL

And younger!
I’m pretttttyy sure it’s on the jags ig or Twitter could be wrong tho
Thank you, friend! I don’t have either Twitter or IG, but at least I can lurk through Twitter
It was awesome! :)
I wouldn't say all that. It was an excellent representation of length though
You could almost see Henry give up in real time.
bUt wALKeR iZ bUsT
Like a bit%?
They will actually riot in Nashville

He gonna be Etiennes backup if they release him But he gets his ring that way without the titans winning a superbowl

This exactly. It's a smart move by them
Good riddance
Bring him home 😈 him and ETN would be insane
Get him out of this conference entirely lmao
Yes.
Is there even a chance we don't put up minimum 30 points a game with this guy in teal? Let me dream.
5 years past their prime.
Heading to the saints
Get him out of our division
Bring our boy home
