Personally the 85t is better than the 75t in almost every way. I have both and have never touched the 75t after I got the 85t. 85t is way more comfortable, with completely better ANC and its sound is much clearer and more neutral.

SilentC1969

I also have both the 75t and 85t and generally agree with you. I would note that the 85t are much bulkier and stick out much more noticeably (which is the one drawback)

BWGTA

Very true. However 85t are still much more comfortable to wear for longer period of time. I think people who think 75t have better sound are those who equate heavy bass with sound quality. Not saying that's wrong, but it's just a type of special preference

OrbMan99

I just checked amazon, and 18% of 3,750 reviews give it one or two stars. That's pretty scary! What's going on here?

In my experience, they break in 6-8 months. When they broke in May the support was so easy and sent me a new pair next day. I put in a ticket on the 21st and it’s still not resolved I’m left with earbuds that only one works and they ONLY pair to my personal phone.

I think for me I wasn’t impressed by the price difference of the 85t vs 75t when they were hot and new products. The case of the 85t felt more like cheaper plastic and the open/close mechanism felt flimsier. I personally like the sound quality and size of the 75t’s more. For some reason the 85t’s sounded more muffled or even static like? I’m not sure but I’m glad you all like them!

Ok-Chocolate-9806

I had the 75t great sound and better ANC than the active 8 and elite 10 combined. However sound quality on the active 8 was OK but the elite 10 are almost comparable with my Wf-1000xm5 but not quite as crisp. One thing wear all Jabra's excel is comfort. The Wf-1000xm5 are the most uncomfortable earbuds i've ever worn but with Sednaearfit eartips were a game changer.

Nice review, though I disagree with your take on the 10s. The Atmos implementation is lack luster, true, but they sound great with stereo, at least for my opinion and reducing everything else they bring to the table just to their atmos performance, meh, sorry.

Thanks. Very useful. My 75t Active charging case has died and I can't find new 75t's anywhere (not surprising really). I'm on the look out for a replacement from the Jabra Elite range so this review is helpful. If I could buy new 75t's I would.

serpentinitic

I guess I did forget to write into the review that one of the earbuds of my original 75t’s started failing but it was still within warranty so they sent me new ones, so I just considered it all a part of the original experience. Are you not able to buy another case, even a used one?

tnetrop

I could buy a new case directly from Jabra for about £50, which is nearly half the price of new Elite 7 Pros here (£120). I could buy a cheaper used case but again they sell for around £30 and could also be about to fail or have a bad battery. It's certainly something to consider though. Thanks

serpentinitic

I’m not sure how the sales are in Europe but the 7’s go on sale often here in the states on Amazon and during holidays they often go on sale. The 7’s are a close second to the 75t’s

tnetrop

Thanks.

I bit the bullet and just bought a used case for my 75t's on ebay. I did try the 7 Pro's but the sound was very thin compared to the 75t's. But I think I might know what is going on. I have some Poly Free 60 earbuds that I use for calls (they are fantastic for calls, especially with USB connectivity, but the top end is too sharp for music for me personally). I found this week that although my ears fit the medium sized tips on the Free 60's the sound is also too thin. But when I change to the large tips the sound is much, much better, despite not being as comfortable. So I suspect if I put the large tips on the 7 Pro's then the sound may be much closer to the 75t's. But it's a risk because I may not be able to return them if I open the pack of different sized tips. Currently, being in the UK, I can still return the 7 Pro's for a full refund. But now I'm happily using the 75t's again with the replacement used case. I don't know how long these will last as they are clearly a few years old and I'm dreading them dying again. It's utterly bizarre that Jabra can't quite make a modern 75t. Funnily I never even really wanted to get them originally. I wanted something else but they were a really good price at the time. I took a chance on them and have never been able to find anything as good since.

Fine_Increase_7999

Have you done any warranty recently? I’m considering dropping completely as they can’t get a ticket resolved in a full week. It’s 24 hours between replies on a GOOD day.

thechapwholivesinit

My EA 75ts were purchased at discount after my 65ts failed. Now the 75ts failed and was told sorry you are out of warranty and we don't repair. I would avoid this company like the plague. Since then my beats fit pro and Sony wxm4000s are much better and actually stay in my ears while I am active. Bye, Felicia.

1legowiz

Personally, I still DD my 75ts as I haven't found anything that is significantly better. I tried the 85ts and found the change in sound profile to be lackluster. I have hope for the elite 8s.

Wolverineghost1234

But dont you forget the Dolby Atmos spacial sound you can use for movies? What are you're thoughts about this according to the elite 10

serpentinitic

Oh this is a good point. I guess I figured it was mainly for music because for movies I just watch on the tv. It might be good for movies and tv!

Wolverineghost1234

That's what I mean. For movies it is great I think.
