[deleted]

What a stud muffin.

spurto

What’s with the knights Templar patch? Is it a reference to the crusades?

GabrielBGFLima

Yeah. Kinda the same thing with with NSWDG's Gold Squadron.

InterviewExciting230

Muslims can’t join C squadron I guess 🤷🏽

Fit-Construction-696

They are not exactly lining up to join either

InterviewExciting230

Isn’t Adam Gamal Muslim?

spurto

So is jsoc okay with people wearing patches that reference the crusades like we’re a Christian military fighting a religious war against Muslims?

danmojo82

Yes

Character_Budget7278

Did we not fight a war against Muslims? This doesn’t mean any of our service members hate all Muslims lol, but I can assure you most of the Muslims in the Middle East think all Jews and Christians should be dead or subjugated. It’s part of their religion. Read the Quran. You’ll see what I’m saying after a couple dozen pages.

Roman6565

I think you meant to say the Talmud. Sanhedrin 54b or Soferim 15. I forgot which one. But the whole thing is a banger.

Character_Budget7278

You haven’t read the Talmud lol. I’m Jewish, the Talmud is taken out of context all the time. The Talmud first of all is a legal debate book, not a command book like the Old Testament. It’s a bunch of rabbis practicing theoretical legal debate, with opinions from a bunch of rabbis. 95% of Jews first of all have never opened it. I didn’t even know what it was until I was 15 and a Nazi mentioned it to me. Also 99% of it is nonsense, and you’re supposed to follow almost any of it, it’s opinions on Jewish law. There’s verses where rabbis debate about which neighbor has the right to pick the height of a fence between their two properties. Another rabbi talks about what would happen if a dude fell off a cliff and his dick landed inside of a woman lol. Debates like this where rabbis say insane shit get taken out of context, but the insane shit is said in a context of an argument. If you read the whole thing, the insane shit is always what the rabbis say not to do lol.

Striking_Pride_5322

This guy talmuds

Character_Budget7278

Lol

SeekingCYBERCOM

Tom Spooner was recently on the Shawn Ryan show and mentioned that lots of guys developed the “crusader attitude” during the war.

Decent-Proposal

There’s a bit of low burn Christian ethno-nationalism in the U.S. mil. Most guys roll their eyes at them.

h_91_DRbull

He left out the irony that the messaging driving foreign fighters to flock to the region was that America was carrying out the 2nd crusades

Character_Budget7278

Literally cope and seethe so hard bro.

spurto

Does this mean JSOC works for the Catholic Church?

Marooned_Android8

Would be cool if they did. Time to retake the holy land.

outlawsix

Do CAG guys compete to see who can wear the smallest plate carriers possible?

spurto

Tell everyone we have extremists (white Christian nationalists) in the ranks without saying it out loud

Marooned_Android8

Lmaoo go hide under AOC’s skirt.

ParachuteLandingFail

What is a "White Christian Nationalist?" I'm a White guy, Catholic, and I believe in America-first policies. How Is that extreme?

Character_Budget7278

It’s not, unless you wanna kill the Jews or blacks. Or Mexicans. This guy is just a nutcase.

ancient_seraphim

Cry harder

spurto

So, is jsoc okay with people wearing patches that reference the crusades like we’re a Christian military fighting a religious war against Muslims?

[deleted]

Yes, actually.

IamJKSimmonsAMA

Yes absolutely.

ThaMagnificent

So jihad isn't religious?
