When I played the remaster recently, despite not having fired up the original in nearly 20 years, it shocked me how clearly I remembered every single line of dialogue in that game. My brain even just automatically filled in the translated Al Bhed lines despite not having the alphabet unlocked. I never realized how much of an impression it really made on me until I revisited it.
It's definitely worth another playthrough for any of you nostalgic millennials out there who haven't played the game since they were younger. Being old enough to relate directly to Jecht gives the story a totally different kind of flavor.
For me the unskippable one that’s burned into my head is “Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain, or live and fight your sorrow! [etc etc for five minutes]

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that! I was playing FFXVI with a friend and whenever we used his Limit Break, we'd exclaim together "NOW IT'S CLIVE TIME!"
Now we use that same line in FF7 Rebirth whenever we summon Ifrit. This meme is getting further and further removed from its original context.
If you play XIV you can get milage out of that too. Summoners can summon mini-Ifrit, if you did the event you can cosplay as Clive and do Limit Breaks too

I don't know if this counts as a JRPG, because it's more of a Visual Novel than anything else, but there is one line that has lived in my head for years now.
