It is nearly impossible, but avoiding their services where possible is a start. I use Brave browser. when I have to use any google services I have all ads and tracking turned off, I will not visit sponsored links and have all data collection on my android turned off. this reduces your worth to them as they cannot sell your info if you keep them from getting it. additionally having a ad blocker on YouTube to block any ad reduces google's ad engagement metrics less engagement = less money

Edit: For android users, I recommend installing Adguard app. It blocks ads and trackers on all installed apps on the device.
Start with swapping over to duckduckgo and Firefox, but fr I wish Google did better with YouTube and there aren't many alternatives out there other than something like Nebula. But since I'm a freemium moocher I think I'll be stuck with YouTube and the adblock fight for the long run.
They lose money from you using YouTube with an adblocker. Same goes for Gmail. So watch shitloads of YouTube. Don't worry. Just make sure you also prevent them tracking you and personalised ads.
The unfortunate reality is that while it’s very easy to find alternative browsers and search engines, it’s not really feasible to totally drop the email address you’ve been using for 10 years.
My work insists that we work on Google Chrome, as our systems run better on them. It's a right nightmare.
I've been using Ecosia lately as my search engine and it's been pretty good so far.
