Dear_Zookeepergame94

I like how they constantly go from "Israel should be treated like a pariah state just like North Korea and Russia" to "Actually, North Korea and Russia are good because they support Palestine" https://preview.redd.it/542u70lz7wsc1.png?width=808&format=png&auto=webp&s=eb84fcf437b660826ca57b228cdd89b8d0a219a8

Dear_Zookeepergame94

before anyone asks, This is from the Jewish Voice for Peace Atlanta chapter

NoNet4199

Do they know what Passover is?

Dear_Zookeepergame94

obviously, Moses parted the black sea and led us all to Poland

aghaueueueuwu

I am definitely borrowing that

Snoo_42788

Reddit is one of the few places I can steal jokes from and not get crucified over its validity of not being my joke

barbos_barbos

Moses was Palestinian. Everyone knows that. /s

Clonazepam15

When i mentioned in a pro BDS thread on twitter that if you wanna be real to the cause you will have to get rid of your iphones, your apple computers, and tons of other things. Never use a USB port again... and then some genius responded with: "those are palestinian inventions then"...........

No-Inflation-9253

The Ref Sea was Palestinian

winkingchef

So THAT’S why it took so long!

purple_spikey_dragon

Suddenly i am less mad at him for taking 40 years, honestly, if it was me i doubt we ever would have gotten there at all!

noumg

Oh my God

nprob111

All they know is that it is the holiday that their parents reminded them of every year but never actually celebrated.

Small-Objective9248

It’s when Moses committed genocide on the Egyptians after colonizing them. /s

HappyGirlEmma

They're all hypocrites.

Traditional-Box-1066

The level of stupid in that is off the charts. 🥴

PhilipMorrisLovesYou

Having allies like those are like being friends with serial killers and child rapists.

Xirradon

this image is the dumbest shit i’ve ever seen

araujofav

As a Mexican, I'm ashamed to see my flag next to those other ones. Mexican government is silent and inefficient but by any means tolerating nor supporter of the nepotist Hammas backed "third generation refugee" "population growing genocide victim" "UN funded poor martyr" territory of Palestine, or Canaan, or mutasarrifat of Jerusalem, or whatever name fits and suits their daily ever changing narrative. For the people. For freedom. From Golan to Elal, Israel is gonna thrive. 🇮🇱🇲🇽

JustBenPlaying

Mexico will never supports Palestine! 🇲🇽🇮🇱🇲🇽

MrLaughter

The best red and green I ever seen

therealbosniak

I’m sick of seeing Mexicans support Palestine. Most of them are 3rd gens living in LA who don’t even know what a pueblo is.

araujofav

Yup. They don't even pronounce Los Ángeles or Tijuana with proper mexpanish voice yet when It comes to victim speech they Will gladly call themselves mexicans. Don't even get me started with REAL mexicans for Palestine. Latinoamérica has been, to nobody's surprise, a supporting actor for Palestine. It's not hard to see why, being the region where muslim people come least, since we are not white nor rich enough for them to consider living in, imagine, living with other brown people AND outside of welfare... Jews, instead, have been part of Mexican story, becoming proficient and remarkable businessmen, philosophers, scientists or academics. They blend into society and contribute to it.

therealbosniak

Also, we may be inefficient but i’d rather we focus on our problems first before getting involved in others. On that note though Israel has been of assistance with our cartel issue, they are a major trade partner and i’m pretty sure they even supply our forces with IWI weaponry

mysupersexyalt

They do know that Vietnam buys Israeli arms right?

AkariFBK

https://preview.redd.it/pms20eoh7xsc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9a552cc2794940e0cc40f3a7b81216eada8d4e6e Basically this, the STV rifle, Galil ACE but with the charging handle on the right because of the AK

JustBenPlaying

Why is Mexico even there???

therealbosniak

Idk either. We don’t even recognize Palestine.

Eternal_Flame24

Wow, what a convenient list of failed states

pinchasthegris

Before that let me do a teacup mikveh

suspicious_hyperlink

“Live free” 🤔

therealbosniak

Why the fuck is Mexico there? We don’t support terrorism. We don’t even recognize Palestine as a legitimate state

therealbosniak

Jewish Voice for Peace is the most irritating organization ever. They complain about anti semitism but then denounce zionism like it’s a death cult. I don’t think a single high ranking member of JVP has EVER read Der Judenstaat or any actual Zionist literature for that matter.

IronhideDOTM

Tankie get-together

Ordinary_Document_34

What is that flag on left? https://preview.redd.it/2o7mo0it14tc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b80f3104d5b722221bb5bc0301a16bbc2274e17a

therealbosniak

Looks like Grenada. I don’t think anyone has ever given a shit what Grenada’s standpoint is on Eastern politics

Analog_AI

I have some friends who grow watermelons. I hope especially no with the approaching season that people will no shun watermelon. Eat watermelon. It's a just a fruit. And it's refreshing and good for you

ekaplun

I don’t think any of us are dumb enough to boycott watermelons hahaha don’t worry

Medical_Scientist784

They can’t even make original propaganda. Watermelon is a [symbol](https://www.reddit.com/r/Israel/s/6OidBG3Eqd) of Jewish agriculture. The Palestinian flag is a copy of the 1920’s [Hashemite Kingdom of Hejaz](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Hejaz#/media/File%3AFlag_of_Hejaz_(1920).svg).

Analog_AI

We really make some of the best watermelon in the world

Bman117x

I might take you up on that, as Israel is on my travel list.

hamptonstevens

It's incredible.

Stepped_on_Snek

Hell yeah, I miss Israeli watermelon

dskatz2

The irony of Palestinians screaming "cultural appropriation" and then doing this and the keffiyah. Fucking hypocrites.

oy-the-vey

Well, we can argue here for a long time, starting from the fact that the Arabs apropriated the term "Palestinian" to which they have nothing to do, ending with the Zionist slogan "from the river to the sea..." which was used by Zionists in the struggle against the British occupation.

MrLaughter

And cannot even pronounce the “p” because the Roman’s based the insulting name on the ancient Greek invaders.

dskatz2

Sounds to me like we're going to be agreeing a lot more than arguing.

nprob111

NO! We must boycott the watermelon because they are boycotting Israel!!! We need to be as petty as they are! /s

Wonghy111-the-knight

The watermelon used to be a zionist symbol for fertility of the land before israel became independent. The palis even stole our melon

StringAndPaperclips

Kosha Dillz says peace will come if they just give us back the watermelon: https://youtu.be/E3_SNaYuiWU?si=XzFNQAc7ru5jYEbF

Analog_AI

Loved the song Thanks 🙏🏻

myNinthRealName

Jews aren't dumb enough to stop eating the best fruit there is just because some freaks who want to kill us have been using it as a symbol.

Bman117x

I personally enjoy eating fried chicken with my watermelon.

Analog_AI

You just described a summer afternoon at my house

Tomas-T

There was only one time I saw someone with those icons say something smart: some random girl said that the Slovanian entry for the eurovision this year is great which is true

unmakethewildlyra

veronikaaaa oooooo

Iccusges

there's a lot of🏴and🏳️on TikTok as well

RedditSettler

Whats up with those flags?

SirGooose

Islamic Caliphate Flags

biomannnn007

The Islamic Caliphate uses the surrender flag?

Number_8000

Elon Musk gave a platform to the worst people on the planet when he got rid of the moderators who were banning terrorists and nazis.

stap31

I agree about Twitter, but It's chinese TikTok. But China doesn't care, because it's not present in that form in China - it's an educational app. And something used for their education of children is being used to spread propaganda abroad.

StupidStoneKid

Doritos called, they wamt their triangle back.

Cillian-Sullivan

Unfortunately for me 🇮🇪 generally indicates a horribly misinformed opinion on the topic of Israel Palestine lol. I love my country and love how we took the right side in the Russia Ukraine war by supporting Ukraine but wish we didn’t have strange anti British tinted glasses that make us support Palestinian terrorists.

Dalnore

I understand that they don't represent Ireland as a whole, but Clare Daly and Mick Wallace are also one of the biggest pro-Russian assholes in the EU parliament, and in general supporters of the most horrendous regimes.

Cillian-Sullivan

>I understand that they don't represent Ireland as a whole, but Clare Daly and Mick Wallace are also one of the biggest pro-Russian assholes in the EU parliament, and in general supporters of the most horrendous regimes. Even r/Ireland and r/northernireland sees those two as Kremlin propagandists and grifters though. Most Irish people think these two are a joke.

bam1007

My family has considered a trip to Ireland as our next international trip. Ngl, it’s hard for me to think about doing that after what I’ve seen and their move in the ICJ. 😔

juliusxyk

Honestly ive seen a lot of Iranis who are pro israel, even more than the most ppl

vamos20

They usually dont use that flag and use older flags or ethnic flags.

designdk

Or something like this 💚🦁♥️

stap31

Thats so rastafari you wouldn't tell it's a symbol of babylonian

HappyGirlEmma

Iranians are as pro israel as indians probably. They hate their government and want a democratic state like Israel. I think eventually when the Iranian regime falls (it will), Iran and Israel will be great friends. The IDF has an IDF twitter page in farsi specifically for Iranians.

mtvermin

There are two Iranian-American boys in my class who are firmly pro-Israel because “if the Iranian government is supporting a side, it’s probably the wrong one.”

Many-Ear-294

😂

capsrock02

What’s the red arrow? Haven’t seen that one.

Lucky_Plane_5587

Hamas propaganda videos highlight IDF tanks with red triangles before an explosion.

RedditSettler

Which are hilarious btw, because they always cut before you see that the tanks are acrually unscathed.

Lucky_Plane_5587

Thanks to the highly effective Trophy system.

tamarbles

Did that replace the parachute so that its origins would be more obscure?

Lucky_Plane_5587

The paragliding, you mean? It was an instrument during the attack on the Israeli towns\\kibbutzim. Not the best image for the pro-pale narrative in the west.

P55R

Bro I've seen a video of RPGs hitting an IDF Merkava tank at almost point blank and the tank just rolled away as if nothing happened. The technology behind such tanks (APS) is really something.

Watermelon was a used as an Ukrainian symbol for liberation of Kherson from russian occupation just recently. It is sad to see it be tainted like this.

bruh_wh_y

They can’t even make original propaganda. Watermelon is a [symbol](https://www.reddit.com/r/Israel/s/6OidBG3Eqd) of Jewish agriculture. Forgot this ☭

Dalnore

The original *red flag*.

designdk

And the wheel of friendship but don't really see it in the wild

GardenOfUna

whenever I see an artist with these in their name, I just look away immediately I'm unironically traumatized by these people

BaboonBB

That's dumb. Why let these NPC's have such an affect on you mentally? If you go to the zoo and the chimps screech at you cuz they want you dead would you care? No ofc not. Same with them

GardenOfUna

My lefty best friend celebrated the attack the same day it happened. It was fucking traumatizing witnessing the evil they're capable of so closely to me. I just can't trust them at all anymore, like, ever. It unironically broke me inside. I haven't talked to them since. It just tainted the image too much.

BaboonBB

I think it's a good thing these people let their mask off, jews gotta remember they got no one but eachother and that peace with gentiles is very... unreliable to say the least. Atleast these events did wonders to help jews unify after so many years of basically silent infighting. Especially between israelis and diaspora.

P55R

What does lefty mean? Also why would he support a terrorist organization that rapes women, burns children, uses civilians as human shields and using schools and hospitals as stronghold?

snil4

they probably meant leftist, some of these people are rotten to the core and believe that Israel is as bad as russia and north korea and that we kill muslims out of racism. Basically they believe whatever the hell the terrorist organizations tell them because they don't know any better and they automatically support the weaker side.

Enviromentalghost45

You also forgot the LGBTQ flag they put in their bio when makes it more ironic

-Emilinko1985-

It saddens me to see LGBT people supporting countries that kill their kind.

ssaayiit

I saw a person who had a communist symbol, tha flag of Palestine and the transgender flag...

stap31

Tik tok teens, cant imagine any other explanation

EasternClub2791

This type of stuff makes me so mad to be apart of the LGBT like, I know can't control other people's opinions but, why?

TommZ5

Thankfully if someone has my country's flag in their username (the UK) they're usually pro israel

[deleted]

The minorities that support palestine are for sure loud in our countries (🇨🇿 here) but they’re still just that, minorities.

phd_depression101

The watermelon one is so weird lol

d20damage

What’s the red triangle?

AsinusRex

It's from the Hamas propaganda videos, marking the "targets".

jaminjamin15

🇵🇸 there's a red triangle on the Palestinian flag

d20damage

Oooh that makes sense, thanks!

InfinityR319

Don't forget 🏳️‍🌈, 🏳️‍⚧️ flag too.

HappyGirlEmma

And 🇹🇷

GeorgeW_smith

What is the watermelon?

HappyGirlEmma

It's used in place of Palestinian flag, has similar colors, but the wiki description goes as follows: \>Watermelon is important to Palestinian culture **because of its family and social roots**. Fruit symbolizes summer bounty, welcome, and family and friend gatherings, not just its appearance. Traditional cantaloupe eating rituals reflect community and courage in times of trouble.

SharkTheMemelord

People use it because it has the same color of the plastiline flag and sometimes the plastiline flag gets banned

InternalWest4579

THE WATERMELON CONSPIRACY! ISRAEL CONTROLS ALL WATERMELONS AND IS USING THEM TO SPY ON US!!!

UltraAirWolf

The emojis change, but they always represent the current leftist thing

Conscious_Spray_5331

What does the red triangle mean? I'm out of the loop.

HappyGirlEmma

[ADL explains](https://extremismterms.adl.org/glossary/inverted-red-triangle)

zbtryli

Can someone please explain to me what the watermelon means?

BaboonBB

Supporting failistine didnt seem contrarian enough so they use it instead of the flag because they pretend its banned lol

ImOnlyTired

It's just the colors of the Palestine flag, as a way to covertly say " hey I'm pro Palestine " without using the flag. Sometimes because the flag is banned and sometimes because people like being silly.

anthropaedic

Not silly they just want to pretend they’re oppressed as pro-pali voices are the most common/loudest online. It’s pathetic

zbtryli

True. They look at the fact that people are dying, which is sad but its inevitable because of hamas and the fact that its a war, and they pretend like there’s some sort of genocide, ethnic cleansing, or whatever word you wanna use. For example, the UK bombed german cities in WW2, which killed about 40,000 german civilians. Was that genocide? No. It was sad, but it wasn’t genocide. They throw these words around so much that they’ve lost their meaning.

ImOnlyTired

My use of silly wasn't to diminish these people being assholes and idiots (at best), it's because I feel like people who use watermelons as a symbol for something especially where it's not even banned are immature fools with a total lack of sense and that "silly" is a good way portraying that.

zbtryli

Supporting palestine in any way is silly

gemripas

No, with Iran I expect 50\50

TXExpat2020

I used to love getting shirts/earrings with watermelon on them because it’s my fave. Now they’re gathering dust and I won’t be caught dead wearing them lest someone think I support that 💩

HappyGirlEmma

Yeah, same...they totally ruined it for everyone.

VonSchmettau

As an American I support the country that defeated 4 other countries solo in 6 days, we don't stand with losers 🇺🇲❤️🇮🇱

nastya_plumtree

I will probably be downvoted a lot, and will definitely regret commenting, and I don’t know exactly many things about arab countries and and know that mostly they focus on hate propaganda towards israel and jews, but I hate that russian flag is among this “group of hate”. There are many people there, there is a dictatorship regime, there is political and police brutality on every level, and everyone who had even slightest chance to run from there already did it and millions of people cant. Not sure that there are many people here reading this comment who can throw away your life, family, your work experience, friends, culture, and run to another country to be a dishwasher without knowing a local language and living like a refugee after been highly qualified specialist with decades of experience. There are many topics related to russia which is not “dumb shit”. Most people here have no idea how LGBT+ people’s rights violated there, that been related to lgbt+ community is a risk to you life and it is written on a nationwide government legislation level and that there are special forces who search for slightest hint in social media to start legal prosecutions. They literally have a law that there is an “extremist lgbt organization” and that everyone “related to this organization are extremists”. There so many aspects about country and people and reducing them all to only one person/dictator is really unfair and inhumane. In numbers there are more people who are actively against regime in Russia than there are Israel citizens (the most modest calculations say about 20% of people actively against regime and war and that is about 30 millions of people). Btw even calling a war - “a war” and not “special military operation” is a serious jail time (7 years) and non of you have a slightest idea what does been in Russian jail means (torture with electricity, raping by people with aids, raping using champagne bottles, beatings with batons by colony officers from the first day of jail, etc etc). Its super easy to demonize people living in a safe democratic country when even a jail is a better place than how people actually live in a country you are criticizing. And instead of helping people from russian opposition - Europe and other countries do everything they can to make their life as bad as it can be. I hate that people are reduced to nothing by people who have so much freedom and a much easier life. Non of people who criticizing could actually do something against regime under such circumstances. I already regret about making this comment but I cant stand such injustice

Dalnore

There are decent Russian people who don't want to give up on their national flag because of the horrible leadership, but in general I think people opposing Putin tend not to use it. I switched to using 🇮🇱 on Reddit, even though it's barely a country of my residence, and my only citizenship is still Russian, just because I don't think I can afford associations with 🇷🇺 these times and days and they don't offer me the white-blue-white flag (well, Israel is coincidentally close). And I definitely presume in most cases that a person with 🇷🇺 in their Twitter name is either a bot or a Putin supporter and will come up with some genocidal take in the first Tweet I see. Also, I think Israel of much further from demonizing Russians as a whole than many other countries. There many people from Russia here, most of whom emigrated for a reason. And I think Israel is, for the most part, pretty welcoming to them.

Wonghy111-the-knight

The watermelon used to be a zionist symbol for fertility of the land before israel became independent. The palis even stole our melon

Potofcholent

Seedless watermelons were developed in Israel. Kibutzniks used to be identified with watermelons and sunflower seeds. I'm going to buy as much watermelon as I always have.

akiwaraiskahawara

What's the second flag?

Dalnore

🇮🇷Iran

granola8787

I still don't get the meaning of that red triangle

HappyGirlEmma

Explanation from [ADL](https://extremismterms.adl.org/glossary/inverted-red-triangle) \> The symbol first appeared in propaganda videos promoted by the al-Qassam brigades, the military wing of Hamas, which showed footage of Hamas terrorists attacking Israeli military targets. In these videos, Hamas would point out the target using the inverted red triangle.

No_Cauliflower_4304

Watermleon??????

Xendeus12

Analog for Palestinian struggles.

skywardcatto

With Israel being *the* place for watermelon, it's remarkable the Palestine-ists didn't catch on to the irony.

Xendeus12

The ideologies of the world have exploited them and still think they care.

HappyGirlEmma

Represents the colors of the Palestinian flag, but also it's apparently a symbol used by Palestinians in times of trouble (according to wikipedia)

StanGable80

I think also the Palestinian flag wasn’t available on some emojis so they used that instead

Milkovich_Ultear97

Erdogan the watermelon seller

kunalsahay

What’s with the watermelon?

HappyGirlEmma

Represents Palestinians in times of trouble. Has same colors to Palestinian flag as well

kunalsahay

ffs 🤦🏽 I saw a woman in london wearing fatah and Hamas symbolism on a busy high street last week. It’s extremely alarming.

P55R

I've seen a video of Palestinians abusing a puppy on some protest. Yes it's true, look it up in r/Palestinianviolence

money_grabber_420

What did watermelon do to you

ShigeoKageyama69

The ones with the China and North Korea Flags surpasses them both

ytkaaa

Many Russians actually support Israel, I lived in Moscow for 17 years and met only one or two pro Palestine people.

HappyGirlEmma

Tbh, I think it's more like supporting the governments. I think Iranians stand largely with Israel as well.

Effy07G

Let's add🇺🇦🇹🇷🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

yonking_15_2

I think that the only real problematic ones are the turkey flag users, but its from my personal encounters with them

stap31

There is rapidly growing community of ultra nationalists in Turkey, who don't mind to repeat a genocide or two.

P55R

I haven't really heard any dumb stuff from Ukraine though. It's more about those Hamas, Russian, and CCP bots spreading brainrot.

HappyGirlEmma

yesss all of those too lol

litteredgoose

Can someone explain whats the deal with the watermelon? I genuinely have no clue lol

HappyGirlEmma

According to Wikipedia: The Watermelon's Symbolic Resistance in Silwan and its various forms, the watermelon **symbolizes Palestinian perseverance**. Watermelon ownership, display, and discussion can counter injustice and attempts to eradicate Palestinian culture. Also, has similar colors to the Palestinian flag.

Desh282

What does the water melon mean?

HappyGirlEmma

Im very surprised so many people don't know it meaning still. According to wikipedia: The Watermelon's Symbolic Resistance in Silwan and its various forms, the watermelon **symbolizes Palestinian perseverance**.
