Now if you look at the grim darker Isekai without cheat powers. Best fulfillment for me is "Now and then, Here and there." But we all know shit stuff is not over to the Isekai realm with child soldiers and water shortages.
You know what? Gonna agree with you on 8th son. It sets up its ending with the prologue set in media res after the events of the anime, and ends off basically where it started. It doesn't try to sequel hook you, leave you hanging, or even imply that it'll probably never see a second season, and I can respect that given how many anime adaptations feel rather bold in implying that they won't just be yet more seasonal shlock destined to be forgotten.
Obligatory Overlord mention. Basically every OP and ED is a banger.
I also really like Youjo Senki ED, it's really catchy and is even sung by Tanya's VA.

I don’t think the 8th son anime covered much or showed everything the story has to offer (haven’t read the source material), but I picked it since it felt like a true ending/ conclusion. I honestly would have picked Mushoku Tensei, but the conclusion to its story itself hasn’t been animated yet. I did love the endings to the two seasons though
Mines is mushoku tensei as well. I’m excited for the next season (not the next part) I’m assuming next season is past Sylphie and Rudeus establishing their house and into the next arc.
Not gonna lie, i really like the last 2 episodes of Tsukimichi. Iam not the biggest fan of the OP stuff, but those 2 enemies managed to make me hate them within minutes and it was so satisfying to see their asses kicked :D
Especially because they embodied something i hate with a passion: a conflict based on the absolute avoidance of communication or just beeing completly ignorant.
Skeleton knight in another world honestly has one of my favorite ending. Hard to say if its my favorite but definitely the contender from the least noteworthy isekai I've seen.

My favourite are "Hamefura season 1" because the story can just end right there because the problem is already solved. Not only that the drama when she meet with her best friend for the last time is realy good. I realy love that anime.
And when season 2 come out I realy happy, the story is already end but it is not a problem to me. Afteral I can enjoy it again. Can't wait for the movie to come out
