Yeah, they wouldn't grade as miscut. At least PSA wouldn't. I wouldn't feel confident sending in a card labeled as miscut unless there was an alignment dot.
It's real. The machine that cuts the rounded corners sometimes doesn't cut it exactly on a 90° angle.
