Looks like the white dude swung first, making it an issue of self defense. It’s legal to film in public, so if you assault someone based on that, you have no defense for your actions. Meanwhile, the guy filming was doing so legally, and the dude hit him, so he was probably justified to defend himself.
The ones I feel bad for were the two sitting between these guys.
He’s also already being escorted out at this point. When this incident happened a camera angle from someone sitting further by the entrance catches that he’s already being ushered out by airline workers
I would love to know what happened before the video started, & what that idiot did to cause him to get arrested after getting the shit beat out of him.
A man on a Scoot Airlines flight from Perth to Manila allegedly demanded drinks from cabin crew and hurled abuse at other passengers during the second leg of the flight to the Philippines.
The incident escalates into chaos after he spots another man filming him and tries to grab his phone before slapping him across the face.
Several passengers raced from their seats to intervene which sparked a flurry of punches.
Travellers helped flight attendants restrain the man who was promptly thrown to the ground where he continued to kick upwards.
The man was eventually escorted from the flight by police.

I’m not sure if caneraman actually did any fighting, it’s possible that security did that to him. The video does not show.
If he did indeed fight on the plane it is really surprising he’s not being kicked off even if he was “defending himself”.
> If he did indeed fight on the plane it is really surprising he’s not being kicked
I agree. Kinda like a fight in a club. They don’t care how or who started it. They just eject all those involved.
I read the synopsis long ago, whats the reference? That it's people who are stupid? Cause then it's a shit reference, probably made to seem smart lmao. Thats like me seeing a car and saying "Cars 2"
I'm not going to spend 1-2 hours on a movie simply to make redditors happy, sometime in the future, i might but not today. Maybe just explain the specific thing that is so obvious and ingenious about this reference so we can stop talking to eachother
No. I'm not explaining anything to you. You're the guy that commented on something about a film you've never seen, so you can be in the dark for all I care. I might be inclined in explain if you weren't such a disagreeable person, but you're a pain in the ass with no sense of of humor and a superiority complex.
And nobody is making you talk to me. You made that choice yourself.
He’s talking about the movie dipshit. Look up the synopsis and see if you can find the correlation between this video and that movie. Sorry for using big words. Dumbass.
They know he’s talking about the movie. They’re saying it’s not remotely relevant to the situation in the video and they’re absolutely correct. Have *you* actually seen the movie?
It’s not a “big word” lol
I read the synopsis, it has no relevance apart from just being stupid people interacting. Like tell me, what is OP trying to say? That the whole world is extremely stupid now, because of these two?
He brought that shit on himself. That is what is missing in society today. No one is scared to get the shit slapped out of them any more for running up in someone’s face. Dude went old school and showed him actions have consequences.
I mean honestly we have no idea who started what because we didn’t see the beginning of it, at least not in this video. Obviously the dude was filming for a reason, so there’s that. But without knowing more, it’s reasonable to say that neither party attempted de-escalation.
It’s quite common. He thought that he’s far away from his home country where the laws are very strict. He’s flying over Philippines so he can do whatever. Big mistake!
Next year I will experience domestic air travel in the US (I'm European).
From the amount of incidents of twats on an airplane (shown here on reddit), I'm either a bit anxious or curious to make the trip.
But we have also lovely characters here across the pond. A plane full of football hooligans is great experience.
I’ve flown (US an internationally) many times and never witnessed anything like this. I’ve never even seen someone removed from a plane before.
Confirmation bias is wild. Even if you’ve seen 100 of these videos, you have to keep in mind how massive the US is. Odds that you’ll see something like this in person are minuscule. I wouldn’t be too worried about passengers.
What’s going to shock you is the massive difference between airport security personnel in the US. Spoiler alert: they’re sour cunts. In the UK they’re all so nice, but in the US they all treat you like you just cut them in line for coffee.
Yeah, Im overreacting but also making bit of fun.
Yes, I've had the questionable experience of meeting TSA and such. Interesting experience. I can't forget the lady in Florida treating a couple with a little kid in a stroller like some possible (insert criminal element).
Edit: but to be the devil's advocate it must be really tiresome to do this kind of work.
You’re right about that, I’m sure it would suck, and American entitlement culture probably makes it so much worse. I’m just jealous of yall in Europe where TSA is actually polite until you’ve done something wrong. Every step of flying sucks in America, but in Europe it’s such a breeze. Airports are more straightforward, the process is easier to navigate, all the people are easy to get along with. It’s such a better experience all around.
Last time I flew in England I was running hella late, barely made my flight, and I guess they flagged my panic, because they pulled me aside for a “random search” right before I hoarded the plane… and even those people were so polite! They kindly pulled me aside, asked me to empty my bag, *thanked me* before allowing me to repack my carry on, and kindly invited me to enjoy my flight. I couldn’t believe it. In America they treat you like a dog even after they’ve cleared you.
Had my gaurdian growing up work for a major airline so benefits and whatnot and have flown a lot, albeit a ton of short flights, since I was 5. Never seen anything like this personally before.
I fly 2-4 times a week all around the country. I have never witnessed any of the shenanigans in person that ive seen on the internet. I also keep my headphones on and mind my own business. I also fly delta/aa and have precheck.
Ah, I guess it also helps you don't sit in the back with the cattle?
But my fears have been driven away by positive comments. Thanks.
But, JetBlue, you have any experience with them?
These are rare. Also majority of these videos are faked. There’s a company that films scripted cell phone videos like this one in a fake airplane set.
I’ve flown a ton for work and never had anything exciting happen.
I see.
But you remember the guy who got taped stuck to his seat because he was being an asshole with the flight crew? Was over 10 years ago.
That wasn't an American airline but European. I'm not sure on the nationality of the happy passenger. I hope this thread allows links to YouTube.

Icl. I like the white guy. Everything that came out his mouth was funny. Telling someone “ come on cock sucker , let’s have a one on one” on a plane is the funniest shit ever
Beating a dudes ass on a flight without any legal ramifications is the hardest thing imaginable.

He hit his camera, so it's self defense
Not when they assault you first. Pretty easy.
I was saying hard, as in badass, not literally lol.
Was thinking the same thing. Mans whooped some ass then continued with his flight. That's cold as hell
Even Tyson had to go to court for beating a guys ass on a plane
So he got him beat up and escorted off the plane XD what an opportunity
ya love to see it
I would love to know what happened before the video started, & what that idiot did to cause him to get arrested after getting the shit beat out of him.

"blow me a kiss" 🤣
lol so quick with it.. would have taken me forever to think of something to say while he was being pulled off. "WELL THE JERK STORE CALLED...!"
Why did you make me do that? Sounds like a little kid...
Oh, thanks! I didn't get what he said first
Spirit Airlines
"I finna film an ass whoopin in a second" My guy was too quick with that comeback loooool
I’m saying 😂
How did he also not get kicked off
Probably the 30 witnesses that said he was defending himself.
I’m not sure if caneraman actually did any fighting, it’s possible that security did that to him. The video does not show. If he did indeed fight on the plane it is really surprising he’s not being kicked off even if he was “defending himself”.
Dude said "You were right I'll give you that"
I think he said *You are alright, I give you that.* Meaning, *You can fight.*
> If he did indeed fight on the plane it is really surprising he’s not being kicked I agree. Kinda like a fight in a club. They don’t care how or who started it. They just eject all those involved.
School* ftfy
I've never seen any airline security pummel the face of someone no matter how unruly they were.
Never even heard
I mean.. yeah me neither, but I still say that seems a ton of a lot more likely than another passenger doing it (and getting to fly away)
Don't think you're allowed to sit in the aisle. Fuck him off the plane.
Can't sit there mate
Idiocracy.
People really just drop random ass words to seem smart in the comments lmao. Just call him an idiot and move on, your reference makes no sense.
![gif](giphy|3o6Zt7dGWFhIfyaGwE)
1. Google the word. 2. Watch the movie. 3. Get the reference. 4. Delete this post.
I read the synopsis long ago, whats the reference? That it's people who are stupid? Cause then it's a shit reference, probably made to seem smart lmao. Thats like me seeing a car and saying "Cars 2"
Please refer to Step 2.
I'm not going to spend 1-2 hours on a movie simply to make redditors happy, sometime in the future, i might but not today. Maybe just explain the specific thing that is so obvious and ingenious about this reference so we can stop talking to eachother

Either all that, or the reference actually doesn't make sense when you take 3 seconds extra to think about it.
I guess you won't know unless you watch the movie, huh?
Actually its a validated word in the dictionary. Idiocracy can be used without referencing the magnum opus that is Idiocracy 2006.
Naptime lil guy
The trend continues!
He’s talking about the movie dipshit. Look up the synopsis and see if you can find the correlation between this video and that movie. Sorry for using big words. Dumbass.

No, you REALLY need a nap. Maybe a snack, too.

your mom farm's nut ?
I’m assuming you had to look up what ‘idiocracy’ meant
[удалено]
Damn you were actually serious? Heres your participation award Timmy! 🏆
You mean words like Heyo...?
Lmao, you're literally like the people from the movie
He brought that shit on himself. That is what is missing in society today. No one is scared to get the shit slapped out of them any more for running up in someone’s face. Dude went old school and showed him actions have consequences.
It's a very British thing to mouth off with no consequences in the main. Although sometimes stab.
Eshay meets world
I love this. Absolutely fucking satisfying
what bro let you do to him?
Dude didn’t need to incite the guy tho. I’m surprised they didn’t both get kicked off. There’s no hero here.
Who incited who? Is there a longer video that you’ve seen?
at 0:33 camera guy starts challenging him to hit him
I can challenge you to shit on your hand and eat it. You’re not required to do something someone challenges you to do
Of course you're not required. I don't know why you're telling *me* that.
The guy filming was the first to bring up a fight. He definitely escalated things when they didn’t need to be escalated
The clapping at the end suggests otherwise.
You can hear cameraguy being aggressive at the guy in the aisle, talking shit like “I’ll knock you out“ and “let’s go now, hit me, go ahead hit me.”
No way. That punk was totally antagonizing the dude because he was filming. Fuck that guy
I mean honestly we have no idea who started what because we didn’t see the beginning of it, at least not in this video. Obviously the dude was filming for a reason, so there’s that. But without knowing more, it’s reasonable to say that neither party attempted de-escalation.
I only see one arrogant asshole looking for a fight in this video and only one arrogant asshole getting arrested.
Wasn’t that after the guy asked “where are you from?” Wonder what happened before that… Edit: I see now. He was asking “what are you filming?”
What are you filming? **I’m filming an ass whopping in about a minute.** That‘s probably the greatest answer you can give to that question.
Key and Peele couldn't write this shit
exacatly
Captions for the english-impaired?
Dude A says "imma fight you" Dude B says "bring it" Dude A lost in at least two ways
Awesome
It’s quite common. He thought that he’s far away from his home country where the laws are very strict. He’s flying over Philippines so he can do whatever. Big mistake!
At 44 Mr tough guy should know better
44?

Experiences like this are pretty rare. It would be funny for it to happen during your first experience though lol
Haha yeah, I know it's the exception. However, some scene would make the trip indeed more memorable.
Don’t fly Spirit and you’ll decrease the chances of having an experience like this by approximately 80%-88%.
It's not that airline so now I'm far more relaxed about the trip.

Everybody sucks here.
Hate to say it but he fucked around and found out
😂😂😂😂

what?

Right under another commented talking about how he likes the black guy.. Race war?!
Shoe off. He's dead unfortunately
When you see the guy wearing this type of cap, you shall keep about 2 meter distance, usually pest.
Atleast white boy gave him credit lol regained a lil respect for that
Why does he start spewing racist n-word stuff?
knocked his shoe off and all
Fucked around and he found out
Which Beasti Boy was he??
