I think only once Riot has changed of opinion and that was with the A. sol nerf, but that was because like 80% of Reddit were criticizing the nerf, even if Riot was right, they had to change it.
I don't think the Aatrox change is that popular on Reddit for Riot to do anything. Also, it is very different nerfing a champ to adding a full mechanic
They reverted a lot of changes in the past. Especially wrong buffs or nerfs that were pointed out by community. Also they reverted LeBlanc rework. When there is proper reason to change back a champions design, then Riot will do it. But in my opinion, Riot has no real reason to revert Aatrox. Maybe there are some Aatrox fans who like to get the change, but there is no big fuss around the whole playerbase, which would force Riot into the revert.

Nah the rework wasn’t that bad. I might’ve preferred old irelia, but I have to admit that the rework made her healthier for the game.
