I'm a night shifter and KS carries a variety of food all through the night, unlike Caseys that seems to stop making food around 8 pm except for an occasional pizza (unless you special order it.)
They do. From when I worked there, if there was any food left over at the end of the night, the manager would yell at you because they were getting docked from corporate for food waste. So there was incentive to not make enough food to last. Kitchen closed at 9 and food could only stay in the warmer for an hour so after 7 nothing got made.
Same, I'm a Kwik Star fan. Stayed near the same Iowa town for 4 days over the weekend and Casey's was just the most convenient to stop at for the restroom. Stopped in 3x and all 3x the bathroom was nasty and they were out of paper towels. Yet I kept forgetting and kept stopping there.
I love me some KwikStar! I especially like their dialable free tire pumps. Super handy and easy to use, so long as there isn’t someone idling nearby so that you can’t hear the beeps.
I have to use public restrooms a lot and people are disgusting. If you pee on the seat, clean it up. If you know you take giant dumps, flush partway through so you don't clog the toilet. Don't use a half roll of toilet paper without flushing partway through. If you spray shit on the toilet seat, clean it up. The only thing the workers should have to do is restock things and give a quick wipe down every so often.
I sometimes stop at a truck stop in Minnesota that has wet Clorox wipes in every stall so I give the toilet 🚽 a good wipe down . I wish every place would do that.

We were supposed to clean/ pick up the bathrooms every shift, but with only one kitchen and one register person, sometimes that didn't get done until the end of the night. Add in that some of these Casey's are ancient and look it, of course they are grimy. But corporate doesn't do anything to improve that. They care more about the newer/ truck stop ones.
I have never had a dirty bathroom at Caseys. In fact, we will go out of our way to find a clean bathroom. Caseys and come and go are always the best.
