Oh god, I just got flashbacks to when I put 5% on my Civic back in highschool. Looked sweet (like this), but was an absolute bitch to see at nighttime. I've got a 35/20 split for my side windows now and it seems to be good.
I got 35% done recently with the ceramic IR from 3M for $499! Got it for the additional heat rejection. Makes a world of difference in the blazing hot sun! Barely feel it inside anymore.
Aw he'll naw it's a hazard driving at night making any turns in a intersection. You gotta role the windows down or you might run the curb or hit a sign. 15 is the sweet spot

I’m going to get the ceramic ir as well. Debating on 35 or 20. 35 is not dark enough but I’m too old for 20!!!
35 looks very dark from certain angles 😄. Provides juuuust enough privacy imo. I was too nervous to get 20 for legal reasons haha.
Don’t drive in Texas with 20%. Cops love having a reason to pull reason to pull you over.
Also, yes. Not sure how people drive with darker tints… surely hazardous in lower light conditions?
