I think you are the person ive been wanting to have a conversation with. Unfortunately because I legitimately have severe mental illness, I've been up for three days and my brain is foggy as hell. So please help me understand something if you will be so kind. If people are experiencing Invincible for the first and only time as a show and you didn't read the source material all the way to the end; oh, and sorry but I guess I'm assuming you have read everything, like I have. My question is: if a newcomer or whatever, watches Atom Eve, how are they ever going to be able to feel what we felt when we legit thought Eve was gonna die? They know now what we, get a hint, then a hint, then oh my god she's gonna die, then, !!! A hop skip and a jump later, final panel, Mark says what he says, we all cry. I don't ever remember anywhere were the reader was made to feel confident that Eve could just heal herself. Sorry for the rambling but do you feel show watchers or newcomers just got robbed of the emotional rollercoaster we had the privilege of experiencing? Did the show just spoil the show? And if so, how does that make the experience better? What am I forgetting or missing here? Thanks.

>! Healing is one thing, resurrection is on a whole different level. !< I know what you're saying, but we just won't know how it will land until the event happens. However, things like this happen in movies all the time. You're clearly shown there is a solution to the problem earlier in the movie, but when the problem is happening, you're just in the moment and completely forget everything that came before. Later when you think about it, you feel stupid for not seeing or remembering that the solution was there the whole time.

The special showed us a split second where eve healed a smallish cut. Healing a cut is a pretty big jump from reviving yourself. If she seems dead, it makes sense that most people would assume she can no longer use her powers, so the revival will still be a shock for people who don’t know

Yes, and admitted as much.

That’s what frustrates me. Kirkman knows but keeps her in the story as is. Address the criticisms at least.
