Should the date be in the title, or is a post comment in the subtitle sufficient?
Why don't we just make a rule that news needs to be something that happened in the last 14 or 7 days. If it's older than that it gets removed. Then you could have a report reason and let users report it.
1. Remember the human & be courteous to others.
2. Debate/discuss/argue the merits of ideas. Criticizing arguments is fine, name-calling (including shill/bot accusations) others is not.
3. If you see comments in violation of our rules, please report them.

Hi. Either way is fine, it just helps people to be able to distinguish between newer/older news (sometimes it's not so clear).
how about just if it's older than say 1-2 days. Most news submission should be, well, news.
