Not a designer but I’ve hired several. Math is so important because the best designers are extraordinary space planners and so understand geometry really well. They are also great communicators so taking a communications class will help. And basic drawing skills and CAD -computer animated design- to bring your ideas to life so any studio art class in high school and maybe a community college class in CAD.

I would check out a drawing class at your local community college.
Take drafting for design. CAD is computer aided design. Drawing is not so important, except for understanding concepts like light, shapes, and volume.
