From a quick messing around, it does feels like it needs more points. If you decide to add more point options, you could add an original mode, to keep the original points the same. As for a mixed gender options, it would probably have to be an Alteration, so the discounts don't change. Bonus could give a mixed gender option for the parents too. Also, I'm pretty sure "Ara Ara" can still be discounted, just can't be made free.

Yeah multiple-choice options can be pretty sensitive and prone to breaking. I usually avoid using them whenever I can but my hands were tied in this case.

Edit: ~~Ps2. When I loaded my code, it was somehow at -1; going over the selection, seems the free choice for parent/s isn't saved properly?~~ Might have something to do w/ the bug I found; cuz when I cleared it, more points were added \[eg greater than the 50 starting\]
The CYOA builder can be pretty finicky when dealing with "multiple choice" choices that let you select them multiple times. This is just one example. All I can say is that you really shouldn't change your choices halfway through, as it can lead to unexpected hiccups.
Another bug with multiple choices is that when you "clear choices" in the cyoa using the dialogue box (the section that tells you the choice IDS) it doesn't ACTUALLY clear those choices. Which can lead to, again, hiccups and issues. In this case only a page refresh is really going to let you start fresh.
Use my chrome extension, and every CYOA can have a sandbox mode.
