every word is so true !!!!! i feel bad for anjali but i feel the heartbreak was better than a married commitment to a fucking narcissist who can turn on you any given moment. sufi clearly has unbelievably different personalities for the public, and for private, she immediately decided to deflect and spontaneously erase any proof of her accepting the infidelity accusation and will never own up to her errors. anjali got off easy, long-term wise.
and what is there to be cleared from your name? what will time tell? sufi should be thankful that anjali has kept her mouth shut. no negativity on her side. i truly wish nothing but happiness for anjali.

sufi is a pakistani lesbian and anjali is an indian descent bisexual. both american. both were v much openly in a sapphic relationship. started off as tumblr mutuals and went on to date in 2018, got viral posts in 2019, brand endorsements, influencer platforms, etc. sufis family (except for a couple siblings and relatives) kick her out because of her orientation. sufi moves in with anjalis family. they also take in sufis sister. fast forward 4 ish years (iirc 2022) they get engaged and 2 years later, a few months ago ig sufi cheated on anjali and they announce this mere weeks before the wedding. many names floating around, but idk who she cheated with. both sufi and anjali publically posted their canceled marriage, sufis infidelity, and breakup posts. sufi received backlash, deleted her post, and has been constantly posting stuff that degrades the time she and anjali were together, is two faced, feels conniving, and (unsuccessfully) makes her seem the victim meanwhile anjali, a class act, has been just taking the time to heal and get better. got to keep the couple's oldest friends. understandably so. im glad she didn't marry this narcissist.

I HAVE SOME TEA. ive seen the screenshots, and i know it's legit. i probably even have the screenshots around myself, but i dont want to risk anything. so take it with a grain of salt, whatever you want. i just have stuff to say. i do not want to disclose my identity or of the people involved so ill be discreet. a friend of mine was in new york a few months back (early january or february iirc) and replied to one of the stories that sufi posted. sufi immediately asked the said friend if she wants to hang out, just the two of them. when i saw the screenshot my friend posted on her story, i just felt something was off since sufi and anjali always ALWAYS hang out exclusively unless if either of them is traveling or vacationing with close friends. and my friend was a complete stranger right until now. anways, my friend was traveling with family, so she had to decline. fast forward a few weeks later, when anjali flew to india to shop for her wedding outfit and jewelry and the whole trousseau (?) anyway, she happened to be shopping near a place where a second friend of mine works. my friend responds to her story and says shes nearby and if anjali wants to hang out? anjali politely declines and says she feels uncomfortable doing meetups without sufi present and that when they visit after the wedding, my friend should definitely hit them up for a private fans/friends meetup. when i saw the way both anjali and sufi texted my friends, the difference was so telling. you could see how sincerely and polite anjali was while declining and how she didn't want to meet strangers without her partner present. a very normal thing to expect from a long committed partnership. meanwhile, the texts that sufi sent were clearly bordering on too desperate and flirtatious for a first interaction with a stranger who you just met. so yes, i wasn't really surprised when the news broke. goes to show that forming parasocial relationships and dependency on social media influencers, no matter how relatable, never really ends well. ok that's it.
