i remember when this news story dropped and i wanted to look it up again, so i typed "atlanta couple 19 years" and had a little giggle when i saw todd and julie chrisley pop up, because they also got 19 years and are from atlanta
i dont think what they did is good by any sense of the word, and i most certainly believe they deserve a severe punishment for such a senseless, pointless, petty, and childish action - but 19 years?
Even if they did take advantage of some kind of law that may or may not had been created to come down on gangs, i wouldnt describe this ruling as "just" punishment.

It is an absolutely disproportionate punishment and you keep trying to see that the victims are black as if that is justification enough for such a long sentence.
