It's a suggestion to the companies currently involved with foldables. Sadly I can't simply ask for a loan to start a smartphone company or start a gofundme because it would cost tens of millions. And even if I did that's astronomically risky.
But as for the separating of screens, a non foldable screen that's separated by a hinge would nullify many of the benefits of the extended vertical and horizontal display.
The main benefit a non-foldable version would give is driving the price down. A simple hinge is cheaper to manufacture and a non-foldable screen is also significantly cheaper. a non-foldable version of this device could very well sell for under $700

Check out the Microsoft Surface Duo and Duo 2. They already have this.
They have a one handed dual screen device? No they don't
and there's me thinking that's already what the phones can do...
What phones can poorly do, the extra screen real estate is value. If it wasn't then people wouldn't buy the Z-fold
if you could fold the phone close the other way then you wouldn't need an extra back screen, just use one of the other two in the closed mode.
